“I find myself craving this pizza and have been coming a few times a month since I happened upon it. Such a lovely ambiance at the Cartopia food carts and Pyro beckons you to try them with a beautiful wood fired pizza oven and delicious personal pizzas not to mention the craft sodas which are ever changing. They offer free refills on the sodas too which is marvelous. I stay getting the Fennel Sausage Pizza but everything is delicious it truly is choose what sounds best. The pizzas are thin and the dough is well hydrated while still maintaining a great crust.“

“Houston native, visiting Portland for the second time. Last time we came, we passed by Awafi and didn’t get to try it! This time, we got to chat with Ali, who was very kind and shared that he runs the cart alone, and we finally got to try the kofta and chicken saj. Both were delicious and reflected Iraqi cuisine beautifully. We will be back!“

“The best food truck in Portland! The food is soooo good and the owners are so kind and friendly. If you haven't tried Burmese tea leaf salad before this is the place to do it!
Dietary restrictions: I have many food allergies/intolerances and they were very accommodating.“

“I went for the weekend Breakfast Club that happens from 9-12 and enjoyed the bacon breakfast sandwich. It was delicious! Perfectly runny egg, crispy bacon and a soft, warm poppyseed roll. I wish I had added hash browns!
The atmosphere is SO COZY! It was a drizzly morning when I went, and it was so cozy under the heaters. I kinda wanted to just hang out and sip coffee all morning.
There are several areas to hang out, a little couch/fire pit area, a cozy corner with cushy chairs, picnic style tables and seating at the bar.“

“Quite simply one of the best meals I've had. My family and I came to Portland for a short vacation and headed here not long after we landed. We ordered way too much food, but it was all insanely good. Excellent value for money as well. The staff who served us were really cool. Definitely check this place out if you don't know it.“

“If you’re curious about Portland’s BBQ scene, this place does not disappoint. The brisket and pulled pork are heavy hitters, but the real winner is their BBQ tacos.
It beats Matts BBQ tacos at great notion by a country mile. Wonderboy could have taken a similar route and been just as basic with their take on tacos + BBQ, but whatever genius lives behind WONDERBOY’s food truck went bold with their tacos and delivered an exceptional dose of culinary creativity leaving you wondering WTF you just ate, and how the hell they managed to make the best taco the world has ever seen.
If I you’re looking for basic tacos, go to LA, if you’re looking for basic BBQ, go to Matts, if you want your mouth to go on a magical journey that pairs tortillas, crispy cheese crust, pickled everything with meat good enough for the gods, go here.“

“I am by no means a Vegan. In fact if there is an afterlife I am sure I will have many many furry faces waiting for me for my crimes of rampant meat consumption. So setting that as the starting off point I eat the vegan bowl here like two or three times a week. This girl is an absolute wok goddess. I have no idea how she manages to cook every single piece of vegetables in her stir frys without ever making a single piece go limp. I have a deep and abiding childhood hatred of cauliflower. It is marrow deep to the point of irrational dislike on my end. Yet when that vile weed appears at random in her stir fry I am not only okay with it, but thoroughly enjoy the dish. Even her rice is several steps ahead of the competition. The curried Garbonzo beans are simply perfect. The fresh diced cucumber and carrot makes the perfect crunchy contrast with the amazing rice and curried legumes. The fresh lime juice makes her dishes flirt with sweetness while still being savory. If your tired of the same old boring grease soaked fries and cheese slathered mediocre slabs of low grade meat check out this cart. The flavors are both well seasoned yet not over powering. She has a chefs touch to be sure. Plus my heart I am sure prefers the fare far more than another artery clogging mass of American failure cuisine.“

“We really like the smash burgers here ($9). The burger has pickles, romaine lettuce, tomato, cheese, aioli sauce and a grilled bun. The only thing missing are onions. The fries ($5) are excellent and there’s enough for at least two people in one order.
They also have hard to find soft serve ice cream. And unique and delicious sundaes! Kids and adults love um!
The menu is interesting - with mostly comfort food and sides with a touch of a coastal town style (Rockfish sandwich, chowder and sometimes a Po’ Boy). Nice looking Brunch! Plus sandwiches, salads, sides and soups. The quality is pretty high here and the service is very friendly. Recommended!“

“Best veggie burger of my life! Hands-down, they have the best veggie burger, and I consider myself an aficionado. It’s not the crap- filled, unhealthy version, the boring fart inducing version or the dry dusty crumbly version. It’s a beautiful, well crafted, superbly FLAVORFUL, house made veggie burger with vegetables and whole foods. The flavor has an adobo taste to it. Plus they put cheese on it! I love veggie burgers, but I’m not a vegan or vegetarian so this was just really cool. I would definitely come back here again soon.
We came here super late and all the car pods were closed about 10 minutes before they’re closing time. We were just about to scramble and find an alternative And saw that this car has their lights on. We rolled up, thinking that they were certainly not going to service, but they absolutely did and with a smile“

“Ok, this is what I've been looking for around here! They are legit. I got the maniac torta and all the salsas to try. The asada was seasoned excellent. The veggies and cheese were fresh, and the telera was perfect. The habanero salsa was insane! I'll be going back for sure.“

“I have been to this wonderful spot a million times but stayed in my comfort zone of the tacos. I've literally had them all, even the burrito, and burrito bowls. However, something told me that comfort and change can't sit together so I decided to try something new tonight. I tried the scrumptious pulled Jack sandwich, which came with heaping sides of Mac and cheese, and greens. I also got my 6 yr old the tamales. Before I noticed he scarfed down his tamales and was asking for a bite of mine. I was only able to try a single bite of his and man oh man I wanted another one just for myself lol... Here we both are now both stuffed to the max but of course, what a good dinner with a great dessert. We are eating the yum yum yummmaaay blackberry peach cobbler... If you ain't been here, get here, and if you have, try something different next time, I bet you'll love it better or just the same as your favorite.
To top it all off she is such a majestic being, very social( I mean we all have our days right?) and down to earth, and her love language is servitude!!!
May her and her business continue to blossom!!!“

“It’s no secret how good this place is. Menu has changed all 3 times we’ve been there besides the famous rolls and the slider. This is the fine dining of food carts. The pork shop is always perfectly cooked and the salads are so unique and flavorful. I highly recommend this spot to anyone plus the bar next door has good drinks to pair.“

“Wow. The Pad Thai Burger is so delicious. I gobbled my way through a massive burger filled with fresh, tasty toppings, a thick beef patty - hand formed and cooked to perfection. And then there is the salad! Side salads rarely spark my interest, but again, the ingredients were top notch and so lovingly arranged. The salad dressing is house made with a hint of sweetness a touch of spiciness and a dash of tart/vinegar all in perfect balance. My mouth, belly, and heart all feel nourished from this very well crafted meal. YUM ?“

“Best tacos hands down. The only taquería making fresh corn tortillas with fresh nixtamal masa from Three Sisters Nixtamal, who specializes in acquiring heirloom MX corn grown in Oregon!
They are doing something very special here. Don’t miss out on the tacos! 🌮“
“Located in a collection of food carts in a very awesome section of town. Plenty of food available. When I visited there were about 7 beers available on tap and a few wines. I was pleasantly surprised that I had not tried 4 of them and hadn't experienced 2 of the breweries. Plenty of outdoor seating with heaters. A very pleasant human being tending bar.“
“Awesome new food cart pod! Lots of good seating, good food options, and tap room. Options included tacos, Hainan chicken, Guyanese food, coffee and vegan snacks, Korean fried chicken, Filipino-American food, and southern-style crab/sea food.“

“Some of the best Pad See Ew I’ve ever had and for $12. Noodles so big and chewy you have to strategically go after them with chopsticks, veggies perfectly cook yet crispy, and the sauce is just the right level of complexity to pull it all together.
Order to serve was well under 5 min. I made use out of one of the three picnic tables to enjoy the ambience of MLK on a cool winters night“

“I don't really write reviews but after our fifth or sixth great experience I feel I must!
Gracie's is making the best pizza I've had on the West Coast and maybe the best I've had in the US, full stop. The classics are amazing (margarita is back on the menu and it's incredible, but the tomato pie is an absolute showstopper) and the rotating specials are both creative and perfectly balanced. Great small selection of beer, wine, and cocktails that you can't go wrong with, plus homemade ice cream. Even the salad is fantastic. Sheesh.
We have dined in and taken out and both experiences are great - if you want to dine in, I recommend going on Thursday or getting there early to grab a seat as they get quite busy Fri/Sat evenings. Takeout is great and holds up super well eaten at home - but you miss out on watching the action as all the cooking and prep work is done right in front of the dining area. Prices are more than reasonable: two pizzas is dinner for two adults for <$40.
I also want to give a special shout-out to families as we've brought our kids (18mo twin boys) in several times and been welcomed very warmly and personally by the owner. Eating out with toddlers is a full-contact sport and it's really nice to feel that they're invited to be part of the experience as well, not just tolerated. We'll be bringing them back as often as we can. Thank you Gracie's!“

“I really loved the potato dumplings (potato vereniki vegetarian). I got the small size but it was very filling and tasty. Looks like there's lots of good optins, so I'd love to come back and try more! Service was friendly and relatively efficient, except this truck didn't have the buzzers to indicate when your food is ready which I really prefer at a place like this. Great overall!“

“For my 1st 4th of July at Oaks Park my experience was amazing, except for the weather ? too hot but hey!!! Island Daydream save the day ? the flavors shocked me because they were so good, and the ice was easy to eat not like other ones that feel like rocks ? ??? I hope to be back soon to try more flavors they have like 20 or so ?“

“The Heist is an absolute gem in Portland’s Woodstock neighborhood! The variety of food carts here is impressive, offering everything from delicious vegan bowls at P53 to Himalayan flavors from Namo Buddha. I tried the Mexi Bowl with a fresh strawberry lemonade, and it was a perfect blend of generous portions and fresh ingredients. The vibe is laid-back and inviting, with covered outdoor seating and friendly service. I loved the unique atmosphere, especially the old bank vault on-site—it adds a cool historic touch! “Jojo comes up on a lot of PDX "Best of..." lists, and as a result, when I was looking to book a reservation and found no convenient time slots available, I figured the next best alternative would be to skip the BS and just hit up the food cart. Good choice.
Reasonably priced for a premium burger in Portland, I went with the Mr. Onion Burger, which lived up to the name in every way possible: an assortment of awesome Alliums assembled under a bun, and tied together with a tasty, tangy Alabama white mustard. Very much approved! I'm now even more intrigued to return and try the Spicy Cheeseburger, which would normally have been my #1 pick, but I wanted to try something different.
Of course, one can't eat at Jojo's without trying the Jojo's, right? And my visit was no exception: a small order of the Nashville Hots was a fantastic accompaniment, even if the red sauce and breading got absolutely everywhere! And even a small order is a sizeable portion, meaning I took half of it home with me, for later.
Jojo came with a lot of hype and expectations, but they knocked it out of the park, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone. And if you're like me, and you don't need any pretense to enjoy a classic burger at a reasonable price, don't bother reserving a table in NW; just head over to this cart on SE Powell.
Parking: Plenty of parking at the John's Marketplace lot.
Kid-friendliness: It's a food cart pod, so both kid and pet friendly.“

“I walked up to order and saw loads of basil in front of me getting ready to be turned into something delicious. I ordered a small order of arancini balls. I was delighted that I could choose different ones on the same order. They had 4 varieties and all sounded amazing. I ordered the original mozz and the pepperoni and mozz. Then I could choose from 4 different sauces and I chose the original marinara. These were so good along with the sauce that I can’t wait to go back and try all of them but next time I’m ordering the large for sure! Additionally I ordered the Italian chopped salad and added grilled chicken and soppressata dry cured ham. It was an explosion of flavors! The grilled chicken was so good along with the ham. I can’t wait to go back and try more. Next I’m trying either the eggplant parm sub of the vegan pesto pasta, especially after witnessing the mound-o-basil. I won’t be forgetting the large aracini balls either ;)“
