“Our son brought us to Lady Hill for the Sheepdog Classic which we thoroughly enjoyed. We had some delicious red wine and we had some scrumptious pulled pork sandwiches. To top it off we also enjoyed some Rose slushies that were so refreshing and delicious. The atmosphere was casual and comfortable with wonderful friendly staff and management. Thank you Lady Hill for a wonderful day. We really want to attend another Sheepdog competition. We were so impressed by the smart and quick dogs!“

“The Deluxe Chicken Torta was absolutely incredible. Deep flavor...thr oooonly thing i would have wanted was a slightly thinner bun. But add some of that salsa and it turns into a delicious party in your mouth. And so much to choose from, its almost too much!“

“Decided to stop at this winery to do a tasting happy they are dog friendly and we were able to take both the pups inside. Grounds are lovely and flowers were beautiful. “The Venue

From the moment you arrive, the panoramic views of the Willamette Valley take your breath away. Perched high in the Dundee Hills, the tasting room offers a sophisticated, rustic atmosphere that remains warm and inviting. The windows are seemingly endless so the interior is never lacking in views. Nevertheless, there is a very pleasant terrace should you want to be outside.

The Wines

The quality here is undeniable. Knudsen is legendary for their Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, and the tasting flight beautifully showcases their commitment to elegance and terroir. Each pour was balanced, expressive, and truly reflective of the high-elevation site. Jeff did an amazing job explaining the wines and showing us exactly where they came from.

The Ruling

We were impressed by the majority of the wines we sampled. As is always the case - everyone’s palate is different, but if you don’t find something to suit you here, you probably won’t find it anywhere else.“

“We were visiting from Va and meeting a college friend. This is her favorite winery. It’s off the beaten path but IT IS SO WORTH THE TRIP!!! It’s beautiful, wines are great and Nick our server was amazing!!! When we showed up they had no power but no worries! Nick had it under control! We weren’t sure what we wanted and he was very kind in helping us decide with a few tastes before committing to the 100% Cabernet for me and Reserve Pinot for my friend and my husband. Both wines were great!!!!. I also tasted the sparklings. Love the Sparkling Rose and the Blanc de Blanc. Of course we had to have pictures and Nick was very patient. I was thinking about joining and Nick was great to help me pick the plan best for what I liked.
The Owner is an artist and he picks one of his paintings for the labels of the bottles. Beautiful work.

Joseph was amazing very uplifting and vibrant personality took me through a flight of wines. I amc not a fan of SB but its every where in Australia and New Zealand. So gotta say this is probably the best one I have tried in thr States to date. Liked the Pinot Noir range also.“

“Went to the recent event at the winery, it was great! Good wine, and the staff was marvelous as always. The food was good, enjoyed it. But it was-is not appropriate for wine tasting. I do not understand the current trend of wineries inviting mexican food carts to wine tasting events. The food style tends to mess up ones palete. Beer or soda go great with Mexican food. Or possibly a huge red, but not the refined Pinot Noir and whites of the Willamette Valley.“

“The facility and vineyards were beautiful. Our server was extremely knowledgeable and super friendly. He told us about the history of the vineyard and all the nuances that go with growing wine in this region. I guess we are middle of the road wine drinkers and this winery is not the middle of the road winery. High cost, in our opinion, for tasting ($50 per person) and higher cost for their bottles of wine ($40 - $130 per bottle). Most were on the higher end. We lived the vineyard, we loved our host, it was just at a much higher cost for these middle of the road wine drinkers.“

“Do not sleep on this place! Big red food truck to your right entering the food truck area. Staff are nice and their shrimp fajita burrito is on point! Home made tortillas for tacos -- also delicious. They give ample salsa. Service is fast. I think I would vote this best Mexican spot in Newberg..“

“This place was absolutely wonderful! The vibes were amazing from the moment we arrived. As someone who’s sober, I really appreciated that they offered a delicious non-alcoholic blueberry lemon spritzer and it was so refreshing!

The live music created the perfect atmosphere, and the R & R food truck did not disappoint. I had the Impossible Smash Burger, and I’ll definitely be ordering that again.

There are plenty of games to keep both kids and grown-up kids entertained, plus the views are absolutely gorgeous. The bathrooms were clean, parking was easy, and the scenic drive out was worth every minute.

“My mom came from out of town to celebrate her birthday, and we decided to visit Durant Vineyards at Red Ridge Farms as walk-ins. From the moment we arrived, we felt so welcomed and genuinely treated with kindness and respect. It was such a refreshing experience!

The wine was absolutely delicious, and the food options were amazing. There was so much to enjoy beyond just the tasting room, including beautiful trails surrounding the property and plenty to explore and experience. It made the entire visit feel like more than just a wine tasting, it was a full experience.

What really stood out to me was how welcoming the staff was. As walk-ins, we never felt like an inconvenience. We felt valued, appreciated, and taken care of throughout our visit. That made such a difference, especially because we were celebrating a special occasion with my mom.

Independent, family-owned, built from the ground up by the fruits of the family’s labor, without the benefits (or restrictions) of wealthy backing. We were treated to a tasting of amazing Pinot Noirs, a white Pinot Noir/Pinot Gris blend, a Riesling, and an outstanding Tempranillo/Pinot blend under the shade of a beautifully appointed canvas tent amid the rows of vines, cooled by refreshing breeze on a warm day as the sounds of relaxing and diverse Latino music played in the background. The authenticity of the place cannot be understated. Elena‘s connection to the land and to the entire process made for an intimate experience. The tribute to her family’s Mexican roots made for a singular experience among wineries not just in the Willamette Valley, but anywhere. Our tasting felt like a true privilege. “We visited Sokol Blosser in June 2026. This was our first visit to Willamette Valley so wanted to visit iconic wineries with history to learn about the wines. We are in the industry (Napa Valley) so really appreciated the incredibly knowledgeable information provided by Isaac. He really knows his stuff and spent a lot of time telling us about the wines and the history of the winery and the valley. Definitely find time to visit this winery if you are in the Willamette!“

“This is a charming little Winery with an absolutely stunning view!! The wines were fantastic. They had a relaxing seating area with a delightful musician playing at the time. It was cozy, uncomfortable, and a great place to catch up with my girlfriends.“

“Very great place aesthetically one of my favorites when it comes to seating tons of little hidden gyms to look at, and there’s at least one little out cove some little games for the kiddos if they’re with you when you go represent lunch type stuff on top of coffee atmosphere reminds me a lot of the coffee shop from the TV show friends based on the fact that they’ve got couches kind of like a lot of concrete vibe like something. If you didn’t live in the town, you might miss it cause it’s on a side street. they have a chessboard there played chess numerous times we’re having coffee. They have really good cinnamon rolls there gluten-free cookies and if you want a sandwich it’s gluten-free. I am almost positive. They have gluten-free options, but you might want to check availability because you never know if they’re out or not or if they just don’t have any in the day you go in coffee is good. I recommend trying the cappuccino there. It’s not bad.“

“This restaurant has been on my mind since they opened. I drive by this unique establishment 5 days a week on my way to work. I finally ordered pizza to go today, and I wish I had decided to dine in. There is adequate outdoor seating but the indoor space is fabulous! Had I known, rather than call ahead I should have dropped in, ordered a cocktail while waiting for my food to be prepared, enjoying the ambience. The pizza is fabulous! Perfect crust and filling ratio is perfect. Leave room for the fabulous desserts. Looking forward to going back, but this time will dine in.“
