“One of my husband and I’s FAVORITE places to dine together. Their waitstaff are always incredibly sweet, accommodating and knowledgeable. Their portions are generous,,,I always leave with a Togo box and a smile. I love going during the week when they are less busy,,, however, I get the hype and they are well worth the wait if there is one. 10/10 ladies. 🫶🏼 Thank you for another great meal and experience. “Can’t say enough great things about Happy Bibimbop House. My husband and I stopped here on a road trip and could not have been happier that we did. The people working here are so genuine and kind, the food was exceptionally tasty and quick. Fortunately it’s halfway for us on a frequent drive so we will be back! Highly recommend!“

Everything except tikka masala was really good. Tikka masala was just ordinary which surprised us as all other dishes were top notch. Highly recommend.“

“We were in Salem for a concert at the Elsinore Theatre on Friday, November 1st, and were lucky enough to find the Wild Pear, to get something to eat before concert. I wanted to try everything on the menu, it sounded so good! I ordered the Butternut soup & Pear salad. Both were fabulous, & I can't wait to drive back to Salem to check out other items on the menu. We had awesome service and were greeted & shown to a table right away. You will not be disappointed! I will definitely be back, & wish you were closer to Vancouver, WA!!“

“It is hard to find good breakfast in this area and Cafe 22 hits the spot. I love their peaches, the pancake thickness isnt overly cakey and hard to swallow. The bacon is thick and cooked just right. The raspberry jam is real raspberry jam. The water mentioned in the another review is because they are on a well so it does taste little bit more tinnish, a lemon wedge in my water cured that. Stopped by the fruit stand for fresh strawberries, on the spendy side, but oh the flavor, absolutely nothing beats an Oregon strawberry. Had I known they did strawberry short cake, I woulda skipped the breakfast and went straight to the fruit stand.“

Wonderful service. I regularly go here for the Thai tea, which is always smooth and tastes fantastic. The tea is brewed well, flavored well, balanced well. I have traveled all over the country and would rank this Thai tea as top five in flavor and consistency. Their food is also delicious. It is clearly made with love. Fried rice is moist, savory, not greasy at all. I am picky about meat and texture. Their meat is well cooked and prepared. The noodles are perfect texture. The rice. Ive tried everything on the menu at this point. The vegetables are cooked perfectly, not too soft or hard, has their fresh flavor, not overpowered by spice. Delicious. Zucchini and eggplant are firm and soft, not soggy.

Curries are delicious. Service is kind. They get really busy sometimes, but never rude and they do all they can to be timely inside or when one orders to go. Lunch special is $12 and you get 2 gyoza, with yummy dipping sauce. ♡“

“Clean, beautiful, historical building with shady patio outback. I had the BBQ chicken salad—huge portion with tender, well-marinated chicken and fresh veggies. The husband enjoyed a Caesar salad with crispy chicken. Service was friendly and efficient. Definitely would recommend.“

The food was delicious, but I personally don’t like spicy food. I brought my food back and explained that I needed it less spicy. They were very kind and immediately made me a new dish specifically for me, with no problem at all. I really appreciated how understanding and welcoming they were. “Alright. Now I’m pissed. First when I tried to write a review it cancelled the review so now I’m rewriting this. But I was drinking my drink (peach fusion) about an hour ago and I took a gander inside my cup and saw a speck of dirt inside my ice. It really grossed me out but I did still drink it because I actually like peaches.“

“The food is great. The service has been hit and miss, sometimes great, sometimes below average. The atmosphere is awkward and small space. I was in last week (for the second time in the same week) and the cooks were cutting up seafood with scissors on the floor. That food went into a plastic bag then appeared to go in a to-go bag. I was wondering if they sell scraps for animal good maybe? It didn't look great and should not have been done down on the floor or anywhere where customers could see but the venue is so small they were basically handling the food feet from booth.

The food is excellent which is why I am giving it 5-stars. There is improvement needed in maintenance, storage, and overall lack of space to do their business.

I hope they buy the quickie mart space in the same building, that place should have went out of business years ago and would make a HUGE improvement for Momiji to expand into that space.“
