“Paul and Jose are my favorite :) I’ve been coming here for years, it’s the best poke in Oregon. Free miso soup and they always give generous helpings!! The fish is SO FRESH, and I joke with my friends that there’s crack in the spicy sesame shoyu sauce (there definitely isn’t) but this place is freaking phenomenal. I’d eat it everyday if I could, but unfortunately I no longer live in Oregon… I come back everytime I visit. You won’t regret coming here!! It’s pristinely clean, with free infused water, and vibey Hawaiian music :) I recommend it with my whole heart!“

“Anyone can seemingly make sushi seem better by making it more complex, but the real test is whether they can take the simple and make it excellent. Sushi-Ki-ichi does just that. They stick to the simple offerings, leading to an experience that feels less Americanized than other Japanese restaurants. That's not to say I don't love some level of creativity, but you don't need it here. That's because the family that owns Sushi Ki-ichi wants to create an authentic meal - a notion that was confirmed for sure when we had a conversation with the owner. In fact, they take quality to the next level with their equipment and efforts they take to make sure that what they serve is the highest quality, including specific freezers for the fish. We didn't try Sushi Ki-ichi for the first couple of years because we figured that the previous restaurant, a Chinese buffet that had gone downhill and fallen off the cliff, had rebranded and reopened as something new. “This place I would highly recommend. The serves here was very good and nice even though it took me forover for some people in my party to choose what they wanted. They also have good atmosphere and the tables are clean and doesn't take that much time to wait (5-10 minutes for my party). The food was also very good and I hope you guys are able to come her with a party and have a good time as well a I did when I came.

I usually keep my sushi leftovers and try it and throw them away because it’s never as good. When I tell you the next day at lunch it was still crispy!!!!??? 10/10 we will be back. “Love this place, stop in everytime Im in town now. Theyve usually got the belt pretty stocked and its all labeled with whats in it too which is so nice. Staff is friendly but can be hard to catch the attention of when it gets busy but thats to be expected.“

“Fresh, beautifully presented sushi with great variety.

We ordered a mix of rolls and appetizers, and everything was consistently good. The rolls were well-balanced—not overly sauced—and the fish tasted fresh. The spicy tuna poke had a nice kick without overpowering the flavor of the fish, and the blistered shishito peppers were a perfect starter.

Presentation was thoughtful and elegant, especially the specialty rolls and nigiri. You can tell care went into both the food and plating. Service was attentive, and the overall atmosphere felt relaxed but polished…great for a casual dinner or a special night out.

The beer I got tasted like the lines were clean, and was cold. The method of ordering from the screen and/or the belt without the restaurant having too many plates out at once is a good way to keep things fresh!

I really think their crab salad mix used as the base for most rolls could use less mayo. It overwhelms the other flavors too much for my taste. And in general I felt things were too mayonnaise heavy inside rolls and as sauces of top. If they could change up their recipes to be a little less mayonnaise heavy it would make it one of my favorite conveyer belt sushi spots in the area.“

“I saw the negative reviews and was dismayed. BUT when we got there and saw the amount of people who were enjoying themselves. This amount of people would not have been and I was heartened by this. First off the service people. When we asked they were prompt. The sushi filled me up. The variety was astounding. I tried most of their different prepared vegetables dishes. Beef dishes as well. My wife ate her fill of various shellfish and other different kinds of seafood. The little dishes of ice cream was a nice touch for desert. It has a bit of everything for everybody.
