“Hop Valley is a good spot to unwind. The food and drinks are good but could use a little finesse. The Nachos were ok and the spicy margarita was interesting. I wish they used fresh jalapeños and gave you sides of sour cream and hot sauces. Usually a good spot off I-5 to eat but they've made it a little difficult to reach. I'll definitely be back!”

“Lucky machines, wiped down between use. Basic food and alcohol selection. House soda/coffee offered for coming in to play. Good prices on cigarettes and cheap beer/wine. 4 drink policy per person. Tickets are mostly cashed out at machines, letting you sit and relax.”

“I love the variety of food trucks, in addition to the store itself. I love shopping at the Sweet Salvage store, which offers antiques,clothing,jewelry,blankets,home decor, and all sorts of things that smell wonderful. In addition to all of that there's live music on weekends that play great music from the past. This brought a lot to Springfield which is something that Springfield can be proud of. I almost forgot, you can have a beer or 2 while enjoying everything else this place has to offer.”

“My man and I come in here at least once a week, cause we use the laundry mat located right next door, we put our clothes into wash and head over it CJ's to play Keno and have a soda. And usually it is a pleasure but today, the person working behind the counter tried to charge us for drinks? We have had issues with this girls before, but as she was ringing in our keno tickets my man asked for a couple of cups so that we could get our free sodas and she informed us she was gonna have to charge us for them. This doesn't seem right. But usually it's a 5 star across the board.”

“We did take out last week because it is close to hotel and were pleased with food. Wife took me here last night for Father’s Day! We put our name in with an hour wait so relaxed at hotel for a bit. Got there before our hour was up and we were seated at time given. They were slammed but I have never seen the host(es) desk handled more efficiently. Good start. I never get to say this but nearly everything was perfect! Wife’s premium pecan salad was not though. 🥲 Timing on food was right on as well as cooked to medium rare as ordered. Alex was a great waitress and the whole team worked together. If my wife’s salad has been right it would have been perfect!”

“This place is the quintessential American Roadhouse. Food is pretty good, people are decently friendly, its a decent place to have a conversation during the day. In a lot of ways this place represents America. Its not all that clean, its not pretty or perfect, but its real. The menu's have crayon markings on them from kids who had memories made, the menu's dont fully make sense. But in its essence its a restaurant that has the increasingly unique ability to be called someone's favorite restaurant from their hometown.”

Addi herself waited on us and was super personable and sweet. I heard her across the cafe ask after a customer's new baby -- he hadn't been in for a year, she just remembered. A homeless guy came in and she listened to his rambling story attentively, then got him some food and sent him on his way. She's a gem.

Food was exactly what I wanted, classic American greasy spoon breakfast. Stick to your ribs kinda stuff.

I will be recommending this spot to everyone who will listen. I believe they open at 4am, so this is the spot for early morning breakfast.”

“I absolutely love this charming little spot. I didn't know what to expect beforehand, but I'd heard good things about it. We went in for coffee and pastries, and ended up staying for coffee and breakfast. Hub ordered biscuits and gravy—they were fantastic. I had their raspberry lemon cinnamon roll, which was absolutely delicious. The place has a strong grandmotherly vibe, and everything feels just right. You hear snippets of chatter from the kitchen, regulars calling out orders loudly, and little quiet moments playing out between the bustle. There are several counters displaying pastries and desserts, plus one for hot food. When you order, they fill the fresh cream-filled pancake rolls right there. The flavor is excellent—not overly sweet, making it more authentic. The decor features antiques without feeling cluttered. They're launching afternoon tea soon, which I'm looking forward to. It seems they're hosting a luxurious event.”

The pizza was very good. It was a little pricey, but that may have been due to what I ordered. Either way, it was well worth the cost. I also loved the warm, vintage atmosphere.

“Can't remember how many times, that I Have passed by here Finally went to the Monkeys Paw Bar unplanned with my family visiting on there last night in Eugene.It was so much fun loved the interior tiki ambiance was crowded no where to sit down and I didn't know that they have live music bands on a Friday. Got the drink called the pain killer was good. Waited patiently close in the front facing the Small stage where the Headliner band Jenny Don't & the Spurs played there hits. It was an amazing time they played for 1 1/2 hrs we all loved it every minute dancing till I was sweating and rocking to the live music. Haven't had a great time like this in a while due to my busy work schedule.Purchased 2 T-shirts & a poster got to meet jenny & her husband. So glad we decided to go in as it was totally unexpected and an unforgettable night. Thank you so much I will definitely be back.”

“I am fortunate that I am a three minute walk from this bakery. You open the door and the smell invites you in. This small business has some of the best sour dough bread ever. The customer service goes way beyond great. The ham and cheese featured in the picture were incredible. It is obvious generous portion of love goes into creating the breads.”

This restaurant is managed very well, the dining area was clean and so were the restrooms. The high quality food was brought out to our table promptly and tasted fresh and delicious. The prices are less than what you would expect for the kind of quality they serve. Not super cheap but reasonable. Honestly this place has become my favorite burger joint - try the bacon and bleu or the crispy chicken sandwich. My wife loves the wings and my kids love the crayons. “My wife and I are always looking to find the best foods around. I've been driving by this taco cart for Idk how long. I looked up their menu on Google maps and the photos of the food looked amazing...followed by almost all 5 star reviews! My wife's family is from Mexico so going out to a restaurant is generally disappointing given that the family recipes are so good but this taco cart is something special 👌 😋 I could eat there everyday 3 meals a day lol. And the prices are very reasonable too. Taqueria Oaxaqueña is now a staple in our go to food venues.”

“I work right next door to them at Made By You and I called asking permission to park in their lot because I kept getting street tickets. They were so kind and said yes! Not only that but today I adventured in to have some of their food. I had bariatric surgery and my food options are super limited. They made me something completely off menu that fit my needs. It was AMAZING! My partner said his hamburger was the best he has had in town. The people in there are so kind and we had awesome conversation. There was no other customers in there this morning. I got to say- you guys are missing out. Give them a try.”

My husband and I usually brace ourselves for disappointment when he orders meat because he likes it rare and restaurants often overcook his food. But his burger here was perfect! I really enjoy these burgers and appreciate that they're made from quality beef. Everything is neatly prepared and just as we requested.

The fries today were just okay; I remember dining here months ago and they were much better. They still hit the spot, though, and the perfect burgers definitely made up for it.”

This is the exact opposite experience I’ve had at the Gateway location, which has always been awful. “Took a chance on Valentine Day after Church and were greeted at a table in the back by the pool tables that was dirty (people just left) that hostess said we could have after she cleared it. This is the forth time we've been here. I had Prime Rib special and my wife had her usual grilled Chicken salad. Dani was our waitress and she was excellent as they wre very busy. My dinner salad was fresh with some veggies and croutons on it, their Bleu Cheese dressing delicous. Ordered my Prime Rib MR, it was a little rare but I ate the cap which was medium and took the rest home for Sunday dinner. Bake potato was hot, and Texas toast was excellent. Had the chocolate lava cake for dessert (was included in special). The music is not blasting loud and is contempory so you can talk while having dinner without having to yell. Dani has waited on us before, she's always been great but we've had great service from everyone and the food has been excellent. Inside is clean as is the restrooms.”

“Moved up here a year or so ago from Vegas and I've been slowly visiting each of the food trucks.

I miss the vibrant food culture in Vegas and so far I'd found some trucks that came close, but none that really hit me with that authentic southwest Mexican American fusion feeling . . . . till I stopped here. I'm not throwing shade at anyone else's truck, but Amaya's place is special.

The first thing you're going to notice is the delicious aroma wafting out of the open kitchen window: birria taco meat, the spice combo she's using in her dishes, and the scent of fresh chopped cilantro, onions, and tomatoes! I'm not gonna lie, my mouth was watering as I stepped up to the window to order.

The big dude manning the window is so friendly, and Ms. Amaya can be seen crafting meals at the prep stations and grill-top in the back.

The birria tacos and asada nachos here are fantastic! Do yourself a favor and snag a couple tacos and some elote street corn while you're here, sit back at the tables under the canopy out front and just relax and enjoy the meal.”

“First time eating here, line wasn’t as long as normal so decided to see why this place is so popular. Gotta say that I was pretty impressed with the food and especially the service. Food was freshly cooked, the chicken was actually chicken and was assembled by people that seem to enjoy their job. There was no extra charge for sauces and the prices were fair. The Golden Arches fail when compared to this place, charging extra for a sauce that is often times missing for something that isn’t really chicken served luke warm by rude employees. It’s a no-brainer that Chick-fil-a is the best choice. Oh and the food was actually fast too and they didn’t need two windows to do it.”

I usually get two meals out of it, three if I add naan. Fantastic location too, Monkey's Paw next door for social times and plenty of parking nearby for grab and go. Never had a bad meal from here and I've been a regular for over a year.”

I only ever get a coffee when a certain guy is working because he is the only one to offer. But it's my go to place if I have that itch to play slots for a few min”

“So amazing! This place should be called "Abuelita's", it's like homemade. The creamiest flan, sweet horchata, marbled asada, fluffy rice, and a warm pueblo interior. Small but clean restrooms, appealing and friendly service. I'm guilty of overlooking this place for years because of how I perceived it from the outside, much to my embarrassment. I cannot think of a single detail that I would have changed, and I prayed in thanks to God for opening my eyes to such excellence, for the well-being of the lovely people responsible for a this quality business that I will enjoy repeatedly, and for my wonderful companion that suggested on a whim to check it out. “My husband had a Philly cheesesteak. It was amazing. They cooked fresh right in front of us and I had the club supreme which they slice the cheese and the meat fresh and then put it on our bread. It was so delicious and we got the Mike’s way when they add red vinegar and all the toppings. It was so delicious.”
