“Hop Valley is a good spot to unwind. The food and drinks are good but could use a little finesse. The Nachos were ok and the spicy margarita was interesting. I wish they used fresh jalapeños and gave you sides of sour cream and hot sauces. Usually a good spot off I-5 to eat but they've made it a little difficult to reach. I'll definitely be back!”

“Lucky machines, wiped down between use. Basic food and alcohol selection. House soda/coffee offered for coming in to play. Good prices on cigarettes and cheap beer/wine. 4 drink policy per person. Tickets are mostly cashed out at machines, letting you sit and relax.”

“My man and I come in here at least once a week, cause we use the laundry mat located right next door, we put our clothes into wash and head over it CJ's to play Keno and have a soda. And usually it is a pleasure but today, the person working behind the counter tried to charge us for drinks? We have had issues with this girls before, but as she was ringing in our keno tickets my man asked for a couple of cups so that we could get our free sodas and she informed us she was gonna have to charge us for them. This doesn't seem right. But usually it's a 5 star across the board.”

“So amazing! This place should be called "Abuelita's", it's like homemade. The creamiest flan, sweet horchata, marbled asada, fluffy rice, and a warm pueblo interior. Small but clean restrooms, appealing and friendly service. I'm guilty of overlooking this place for years because of how I perceived it from the outside, much to my embarrassment. I cannot think of a single detail that I would have changed, and I prayed in thanks to God for opening my eyes to such excellence, for the well-being of the lovely people responsible for a this quality business that I will enjoy repeatedly, and for my wonderful companion that suggested on a whim to check it out. “We did take out last week because it is close to hotel and were pleased with food. Wife took me here last night for Father’s Day! We put our name in with an hour wait so relaxed at hotel for a bit. Got there before our hour was up and we were seated at time given. They were slammed but I have never seen the host(es) desk handled more efficiently. Good start. I never get to say this but nearly everything was perfect! Wife’s premium pecan salad was not though. 🥲 Timing on food was right on as well as cooked to medium rare as ordered. Alex was a great waitress and the whole team worked together. If my wife’s salad has been right it would have been perfect!”

“If you want AMAZING FOOD then continue reading.. .Came here for the first time ever today and talk about AMAZING food!! My partner and I ordered SO much, but only because we wanted to try it all. The FRIED CATFISH, was soft and delectable and as someone who's never had it before, I was a bit nervous but couldn't get enough of it after trying it. Next up, was the GRILLED SHRIMP and when I say that they were so full of FLAVOR Holy smokes they were **chef's kiss**!! The CHICKEN STRIPS & FRIES were up next and yes they were also good, juicy and crispy but I do wish that they had a bit more flavor in them since everything else was so full of it. Next was the GUMBO (with SHRIMP added) and D@mn that was melt in your mouth perfect!! Next up...the COLLARD GREENS..so these babies were good but I've ben spoiled over the years on family friends greens and so far nobody comes close to theirs so I apologize that these didn't hit the spot for me HOWEVER, I would still order them again and again since my family friend lives in Washington and you're down the street and they are good. Last two things we ordered were the HUSHPUPPIES and MAC AND CHEESE.. I'm not a hushpuppy girl but I did try 2 bites...still not for me but my partner liked them and said that they tasted a bit like cinnamon. As for the Mac and cheese it tasted like you would think....definitely not out of a box but made from scratch and really good. Overall this place is delicious as heck and is a 10/10!!”

“Can't remember how many times, that I Have passed by here Finally went to the Monkeys Paw Bar unplanned with my family visiting on there last night in Eugene.It was so much fun loved the interior tiki ambiance was crowded no where to sit down and I didn't know that they have live music bands on a Friday. Got the drink called the pain killer was good. Waited patiently close in the front facing the Small stage where the Headliner band Jenny Don't & the Spurs played there hits. It was an amazing time they played for 1 1/2 hrs we all loved it every minute dancing till I was sweating and rocking to the live music. Haven't had a great time like this in a while due to my busy work schedule.Purchased 2 T-shirts & a poster got to meet jenny & her husband. So glad we decided to go in as it was totally unexpected and an unforgettable night. Thank you so much I will definitely be back.”

“I've had lunch here several times, and every visit has come with friendly service and consistently good food, so I've always had a positive impression. On top of that, multiple friends have recommended this place, saying they serve some of the best steaks in the area. With those recommendations in mind, we decided to come in for dinner this past weekend and finally give their steaks a try.

We ordered a couple of Avid hard ciders (we were expecting the Blackberry but were served Raspberry instead), the spinach artichoke dip, the stuffed pork chop, and an 8-ounce sirloin cooked medium rare. When we first arrived, the restaurant was surprisingly empty, but as the evening went on it gradually filled with what seemed to be a loyal crowd of regulars.

The hard ciders were enjoyable, even though they weren't the flavor we thought we were ordering. The spinach artichoke dip was definitely a highlight—rich, flavorful, and served with thick, crispy chips that paired perfectly with it.

The entrees were a bit more hit-or-miss. The stuffed pork chop was cooked well but lacked seasoning and flavor. It also came with asparagus instead of the green beans we had been told it included. My sirloin was another mixed experience. I ordered it medium rare, but it arrived well done, which was disappointing, especially since we had come specifically to try one of the steaks we'd heard so much about. That said, the steak itself had great seasoning and a nice flavor—it just would have been much better if it had been cooked to the requested temperature.

Our bartender/server was incredibly kind, attentive, and made us feel welcome throughout the meal. The only downside was that they didn't seem completely familiar with the drink selection or some of the menu details, which led to a few surprises during the meal.

Overall, we still enjoyed our visit. The service was warm, the appetizers were excellent, and while the entrees missed the mark in a few areas, the food still had good flavor. Every restaurant has an off night, and based on my previous experiences here, I wouldn't hesitate to come back. I'm looking forward to giving their steaks another chance because I still believe they have the potential to live up to the great reputation so many people have shared.”

I live in San Jose, CA and I always buy multiple loaves of various breads at Saverio's when in Springfield and fly it home to California. “I work right next door to them at Made By You and I called asking permission to park in their lot because I kept getting street tickets. They were so kind and said yes! Not only that but today I adventured in to have some of their food. I had bariatric surgery and my food options are super limited. They made me something completely off menu that fit my needs. It was AMAZING! My partner said his hamburger was the best he has had in town. The people in there are so kind and we had awesome conversation. There was no other customers in there this morning. “My Mom and I decided to compare Taco Bell Crispy Dorito Loco Supreme taco's to Taco Time crispy regular taco's.
We are vegetarian, so they were made with refried beans both places.
TACO TIME Wins hands down!!! They were perfect! The beans where delicious with such good flavor. The lettuce was fresh and so were the tomatoes. They put the cheese on top of the beans, then the lettuce and tomatoes. We didn't lose any cheese from our tacos. No sauces were needed. Thanks to the all guy crew for the great service!!
