“Wow. We are serious foodies and we will be back! The bread is delicious and baked on premises. We sampled 5 appetizer. Don’t miss the asparagus, the meatballs or the calamari! The sauces were so amazing. And the profiteroles and tiramisu? . Our server was really lovely and wonderful and made recommendations that were helpful. We had a really special night out.We were a party of 4 including 2 teens for a 15th birthday. We’ll be back for my husbands birthday next month for sure :).“

“My daughter took me there for Mother's Day. My past experiences on special days has not been good. Usually rushed and food overcooked. WELL, NOT HERE. One of the best experiences I ever had on a special occasion, maybe the best. Our waiter was phenominal, 5 Star; so attentive ithout being annoying. And the kitchen staff is 5 star. Food arrived hot and cooked to perfection. The food is obviously 5 srar as well. I'm almost concerned giving them such a rave review for fear of not getting a reservation next time. :-). “Checked out The Victor Cafe founded in 1918, a little gem of an Italian restaurant in South Philly. All staff are also opera singers and perform an aria every 30 minutes. Also, this place was featured in Rocky Balboa and Creed as Adian's Restaurant. This place is definitely worth a visit. Recommend having a reservation.“

The service was amazing throughout the meal, I wish I got the servers name as he was really an incredibly friendly young man who clearly knew the menu very well. The atmosphere is wonderful and the interior is just lovely. In terms of the food, I had the wild boar bolognese which was a special that night, and it was AMAZING!! “Came in from Denver and was craving some great Italian. They did not disappoint! Service was excellent. Food was amazing! Clams Casino and Meatballs appetizer set a high bar for the rest of the meal, and they nailed it. Seafood ala Scannichios and the NY strip longjohn were hugely portioned and delicious. Others in our party had the Shrimp Scampi, Chicken Parm and a few others- and they raved about them. Tiramisu and Bananas Foster were sublime. The owner Christian and his family really made us feel welcomed. We will definitely be back on future trips.“

I went with a friend and we shared a “girl dinner” of four desserts followed by pasta. I keep thinking about the gelato I had, which was flavored with sweet cream and topped with a layer of honey and a mound of pistachios. The sweet and salty combination was amazing. Another standout was the orange olive oil torte with a bay leaf-infused cream. The lemon pasta was simple with a depth of flavor and strong umami. “Very good italian spot on Conshohocken. We had the stuffed long hots and eggplant apps (neither pictured) and both were tasty. For dinner veal parm, chicken parm, chicken san nicola and the steak special. I can only speak to the veal parm and it was yummy. Got it with a side of spaghetti with garlic and oil, also on point. It also has a busy bar area. Great restaurant to check out.“

“I had dinner at La Sera the other day and was impressed. The appetizers were delicious--we had the calamari, cozze, and mushrooms. All were delicious, but the mushrooms were phenomenal. For entrees, our table had the ribeye, veal ripieno, spaghetti and meatballs, and ravioli rosa. Everyone loved their food.

And I must give a special shout out to Meritan. I realized the next day that I left my hat at the restaurant and I had already left for the airport to return to Florida. I connected with Meritan who I coordinated with to have it shipped to my house.

In all, La Sera offers delicious food and service from good people. I will certainly be back.“
