“We go there every time with my husband because the people who work there are the most thoughtful, hospitable, and caring people in town! Sena has always impressed me with how she realized who I was and what my name was on the phone when I called to make an appointment, always remembered that I was gluten free and made sure that I got the best service even on Bam Bam’s busiest days! I totally recommend their Bibimbap. My husband has almost tried everything on the menu and he loves them too. But again, nothing can beat Sena’s and other staff’s hospitality. We will go back again and again!“

“We came to this restaurant for dinner. This spot was recommended to us by a friend. Well, it was very nice. The staff members welcomed us with a smile and we had a fantastic feeling. The meal was fresh and delicious. We had a great time and we will visit this place again. Recommended.“

“Located in a small strip center with a small parking lot and across the street from a much bigger lot, Osushi is a gem. We arrived for a late lunch. We started with the tofu miso soup (would prefer more tofu) that was tasty and a larger than typical serving. The tuna dumpling, tricolor tobiko roll, and the Naruto roll are pictured. The tuna dumpling included mango which compliments the overall taste. The visual appeal of every dish was outstanding (see the attached pictures). While a bit pricey, there's no denying the quality.Parking: There's a single line of parking in this steep center with a much larger public lot immediately across the street“

“I am very pleased with my experience here. I went with a group of 5 and ordered sample tasting, so we got to try a lot of different options they have. They have standard and an upgraded option (for just $10/person); it is well worth it to pay for the upgrade. I liked most of it. But what was exceptional is the liver goose, the duck scrapple, the wagyu and the sea bass.They do a nice show (at the bar) with some of their drinks as well. In this video I recorded them making my double knot Manhattan. They fire some cinnamon and fill your cup first with the smoke. It actually gives it a nice taste.“

“Pretty good experience! There was a little bit of a mix up with what we ordered but they instantly took care of it and got us the rest of our food. Some of the food was hit or miss. The broll, Bloc party, Hijiki, and e I shumai was great but I didn't really like the chashu because it was a bit gummy and the wings were not my favorite. But other than that, it was all great. I will definitely come back soon to try more things :)“

“The best sashimi and I have ever had. Stopped in here 3 years ago by chance -- looking for food before a concert at Gloria Dei Old Swedes Episcopal Church. I was able to get a few things, not a set menu. They did not put soy sauce or anything on the bar or tables -- they said they were preparing it just as it should be prepared. And it was so! Looking forward to coming back.“

“We love the food at Umami Steak and Sushi Bar. The fish is of the highest quality and Yontem has amazing skills. There is a wide array of interesting and delicious items to choose from. “This place is SO good, a new neighborhood favorite. The sushi, robatayaki, and entrees we tried were all incredibly fresh, beautifully prepared, and well seasoned (especially the hangar steak robatayaki!!). Love that it's a BYO, too. The desserts were also a highlight - I would come back just for the cheesecake and the black sesame ice cream! Service was knowledgeable, friendly, and welcoming. We will be back!“

“A lot of ramen places are compared to Terakawa as the standard for quality ramen and Tomo does not disappoint. Their Mayu Tonkatsu is very flavorful and complex in flavor, the noodles are perfectly bouncy, and asking for the spicy sauce kicks it up a notch. Easily my new favorite ramen in Philly 10/10!“

“This is a good place to eat sushi and ramen. Personally, I ordered the miso soup ramen and I loved it: both the decoration of the dish, as well as the quantity and flavor, were in harmony; For starters we ordered gyozas, which were delicious. My companion ordered a shrimp tempura roll which, on the other hand, although it had a delicious flavor, the quantity was small in relation to the price. The atmosphere is cozy. The staff treated us very kindly, which made us enjoy the experience even more.“

Only minor negative was when we arrived 90% of the restaurant was empty and we were told to sit at the sushi bar because they were expecting a wave of reservations. However by the time we finished our meal the restaurant was 80% empty so we definitely could have sat at a table. The menu has a lot of good options so we will definitely return.“

“I’ve been coming to Blue Fin for years (even when they were located previously on Germantown Pike). After all these years, the food and the service has not changed – it’s wonderful. I had to write a review and really sing Blue Fin’s praises after my most recent visit. For my 40th birthday last week, I wanted my birthday celebration at Blue Fin with my closest friends. There were 7 of us and we were really loud (so sorry)! The chef brought out the sushi and very politely, asked us to bring the volume down. He was super sweet with his approach. The restaurant closed at 8:30 and we were there till 9:30, everyone had left.I really could not thank Blue Fin enough for their patience on a loud Wednesday night. They really went above and beyond.The sushi is dynamite too, best in the area. My go to’s for the last 15 years: Wasabi shumai, Davitch roll and No Name II.Thank you BlueFin, for everything! “Just two focused homies making the best quick sushi, sashimi, nori etc. it’s a counter with maybe 8 seats and it feels so informal but right to the point. I got the valentines roll and the fresh red tuna was so buttery soft. I loved it. Also don’t skip the sashimi platter!! Great place for any quick satisfying meal. Lots of people come through for takeout so it’s incredibly busy but they are efficient. Order at least 30 mins ahead so you’re not waiting too long - They are very busy on Friday nights.“

“We had previously always gone to Vic's in Rosemont... (ie Near Villanova). This location in Havertown is fantastic. They are reasonably priced, but the food is always fresh and super good. “This is my go-to place for special occasions, like getting an A (or even a B+) in my Penn Law courses. CONGRATULATIONS to the owner for an incredible four years! I've been enjoying Kaseiki's sashimi bowls since the start of the pandemic and have always had wonderful experiences with them. The ingredients are always fresh and even the basic bowls, like their signature Anniversary Bowl, are very artistically done and taste great. I highly recommend the Second Anniversary Bowl, an upgrade that includes delicately prepared scallop, the sweetest shitake mushrooms you've ever had, and mouth-watering, delicious O-toro! The prices are high, but the quality is also high, so it's definitely worth it! Looking forward to enjoying a Chirashi bowl in person someday.“

“We ordered on DoorDash. The bag was stapled at the top to be held upwards but the food was sideways. My rolls got soaked in sauce. Not a terrible thing but I’d prefer they were crispy. Highly recommend a different bagging/to go technique. The food was delicious nonetheless. I enjoyed everything in my bento box. The miso soup was good too. The dumplings were tasty but i had to pick out the beans/green vegetables was on it. Personal preference but other than that i will definitely order again. The salad was good wish it were more but it was a lunch combo so not complaining at all. Their ginger salad dressing was amazing.“

“Rain was our chef and he made the night truly enjoyable! It was my spouse and their brother's first time doing any kind of hibachi and now the bar is set ridiculously high. Food was excellent from the filet to the scallops to the salmon to the chicken. Took a little bit to be seated despite the 8pm reservation but that's because this place is so good it's very popular on a Friday night, so not hard feelings on my end!!“
