“Easy place, very affordable prices (like $6-7 burgers, $7-8 very generous portions of chicken tenders). We came kind of impromptu after my daughter got out of a birthday party at the Little Gym across the street that finished at 6, and it was a quick/inexpensive stop. We had enough leftovers of the fancy chicken tenders that it was lunch today too.“

“I decided to try this place after there was a fire at my local bagel shop. That bagel shop (New York Bagels) continues to be my all time favorite. Their bagels are delicious but so is their white fish and amazingly their muffins are outstanding. It is also Kosher.

Original bagel is a lovely, warm and welcoming bagel shop. Their bagels are quite good, HOWEVER first and foremost potential customers should know it is NOT Kosher. They definitely serve pork which is only a problem for those of us for whom it's a problem but I was surprised and disappointed. Also, I tried a muffin and a scone in addition to a bagel. I thought the bagels were great but the muffin and scone were inedible (my kid disagreed and enjoyed them both).

Will I be back? Probably! It's welcoming, cozy and not corporate with fresh, delicious bagels which checks most of my boxes but I will only go for small orders because most of my community avoids places where pork is served, and I will only be ordering bagels going forward.“

“Spread has great bagels and great sandwiches but the thing that really sets them apart is the people. Their staff is always friendly, attentive and polite. It is always hard to believe you are in a bagel pick up spot. I would highly recommend.“

“The first time I went I had to wait about 25 minutes for my food because there were many orders ahead of time which I didn’t know about . Once I received my food it was delicious , making the wait worth it . They were nice and is careful with your food . They are so not stingy at all with the sandwiches .

“So basically I went during the week with my friends. They had an excellent staff team. The lady on the cashier was so friendly and so nice. She was extremely welcoming despite me and my friends being high schoolers. She also had a daughter in high school so she made good small talk and made us comfortable enough to stay there and eat. The other people were good too! The food was absolutely scrumptious. Positive vibes. I got the Everything Bagel with Veggie Cream Cheese and a croissant. My friends got a bacon, egg, and cheese bagel along with drinks! Loved those too BTW! We are waiting for another early dismissal to go there and eat! Thanks Manhattan! “I work up the road and we ordered for pick up for lunch and it was delicious! BLT’s can be tricky for takeout. The bread was toasted, fresh yet crunchy and delicious. The bacon was thick and cooked perfectly with a good portion on the sandwich. The lettuce and tomato were also fresh and distributed evenly with the mayo. Served with fresh coleslaw and a pickle! My new favorite lunch spot!! Can’t wait to try the other menu items.“

The bagels are my favorite in Philly but, what sets them apart is their house made cream cheese! The veggie is my favorite but all of them are delicious. So many creative options. Oh! And if you are looking for a bagel that tastes like a fresh plate of pancakes…they have that too! So good.“

“I've been coming to this spot for 25+ years since it was The Bagel Factory. Although it has changed hands a couple times and is now a Manhatty, the tradition of a solid breakfast sandwich spot continues. The staff/owners are very nice and appreciative of your business. The service is quick and I haven't experienced a long line yet. There's plenty of space inside to eat in as well.

The breakfast sandwich (BEC on Everything) is always consistent, isn't messy, and is fairly well-priced compared to the premium spots in the area (Spread and Up-Ryes). Good Everything bagel with salt - fresh cooked egg and solid bacon. Nothing worse than an Everything bagel that doesn't have salt.

I would go here over Spread 10/10 times. While Up-Ryes may be a higher quality sandwich, they are more expensive and it's good to switch things up once in a while.

Also Manhatty's Vanilla Hazelnut coffee is A+. Would recommend!“

“The bagels were delicious and the schmears were generous! We got breakfast here two days in a row, because it was so good! I ordered on toast tab and immediately got a reward that I used for the next day. The drinks we ordered, including a chai tea latte, a Matcha latte and then an ordinary black tea and coffee, were all made correctly & available as stated when we arrived for pick up. The restaurant offers five or six tables inside. There was only one four top, but we lucked out in getting it each time. Would definitely return the next time we’re in Center City!“

“I was so excited when I discovered that Brewerytown Bakery is completely vegan. I’ve started going on occasional weekend mornings for a London Fog boba and a loaf of bread. “We came down to Temple from north Jersey to visit our daughter for her birthday and came here for breakfast…what a treat!! The bagel sandwiches were so good I felt like we were sitting home in Jersey eating these sandwiches…eggs and meat cooked perfectly AND the bagels were big and tasty!! “My husband and I went for lunch today. The food was delicious (we were already familiar with the bagels), however the staff was very distracted. They were friendly and pleasant but they got some things wrong even though it wasn’t very busy. I asked for the honey mustard mayo on the side and it was omitted completely. Also, some of the apple slices still had the stickers on them which means they most likely weren’t washed or looked at prior to using. That’s pretty careless to put fruit slices with stickers in a sandwich.“

“We had a wonderful experience. When we walked in, the smell of the firewood burning felt so warm and cozy for a cold day. My husband loved his bagel, and they made fresh decaf coffee for me. It was such a good cup too! Wish we lived closer but we will certainly be back!“

“Spread Bagelry has some really good bagels! Nice cozy place! A couple small tables inside if you’d like to sit and eat. There’s also window seating. They use wood oven to bake the bagels in the oven. Bagels always fresh tasting! Variety of bagels and spreads for them. They also have bagel sandwiches. Thought coffee was just ok. I like it a little stronger. Had Whitefish and everything bagel.“
