“Today my daughter and I enjoyed the most delicious lunch at One 13 Social in downtown Carlisle. Small plates are elegant and perfect for lunch. Mine was Spoonbread Shrimp, extraordinarily creative flavors : salty olive tapanade, savory grilled shrimp, and sweet cornbread with honey butter. New to their terrific menu, hope it stays!! I tip my hat to the chef.“

“First time in Carlisle and decided to visit this place for breakfast, A bit small but plenty of seating available. Can get a bit crowded depending on where you sit. Also, can be a hassle finding a place to park. Lots of antique things to see around the establishment. Friendly staff and great service, had the breakfast special for $9.99 , comes with 2 eggs your way, bacon, toast, pancakes and a coffee or tea. Will be coming back if in the area again.“

“Do yourself a favor and take a little trip back in time, drop by this Carlisle icon. Same people, great food (the sausage for breakfast is fantastic) and great prices. We no longer live in the area but whenever we visit we will always try to stop by and savor the memories.“

“Really enjoyed it. Nice ambiance & decor without being overbearing. Food was excellent. Loved the deviled eggs and both steaks (medallions and wagyu steak) were excellent and cooked exactly-as-ordered. Sides were excellent, particularly enjoyed the cheese sauce on the potato. Prices VERY reasonable for what you got. Service was friendly, helpful and attentive but without feeling 'rushed'. We did not get the 'only 2 hours' dictum others have mentioned... but c'mon folks - two hours is plenty and it's reasonable they need to 'turn tables' at that point. Thankfully they were happy to move our table due to someone in the next booth whose mommy never taught him to use his 'inside voice'... though we do hope the latest ointment helps him with that rash. It is definitely a 'restaurant that happens to be in a hotel' rather than a 'hotel restaurant.'“

“Stopped in Sunday after church. Parking lot was full but available seating inside. Really like the bright, open atmosphere and all the windows. Orders taken and food arrived promptly. The writer had the western omelet with home fries and toast. All of us were happy with our meals. We will be returning!“

“Ordered take out for 4 adults on Saturday evening. First time we ordered food from this establishment but we checked other reviews and decided to give it a try. . Excellent. We ordered a couple of some evening specials: 1/2 Rack of ribs with chicken and 2 sides; another night special, pork and kraut with mashed as side. I might add if those mashed were not home made, I want the name of them--delicious, others ordered a cheesesteak sub. and the roll was absolutely delicious., with onions and peppers, fries and also another of mozz sticks with marinara, plain cheeseburger and fries. Everything was delicious and order perfect and they said only 15-20 time for pick up. The only thing that could have been better is if the pork and kraut meal and the rib & chicken meal came with dinner rolls or garlic bread. But no biggie. Would highly recommend and the 4 adults who ordered for this meal have all said will definitely go back. Great Job Mays!!!“

“This place is the best place I have been to in that area. I just wrote a review about 3 pines bar and grill. It wasn’t until I saw a guy last week at three Pines who was telling me about your place and I said oh that’s right I forgot the name of that place I wanted to go there I was there one other time I live in Germantown Maryland he and I got into a conversation at three Pines how despicable it is that they have the audacity to charge for sides of blue cheese, or whatever sides they offer for their wings plus charge for celery I think it’s like $.50 but that’s crazy for every stock of celery. He’s making 10 bucks.Tawn runs a great bar and pardon me if I’m wrong but I think the lady that’s working there with him on this past Monday is her name is Nicole very kind very efficient works really hard I can think she’s new because she’s really trying to get her feet in for, but I can tell either way she’s great.I just want to see what you guys do a great all your food and I think it’s great. You have specials with your wings and you have beer specials. I love IPAs for only paying three dollars and was a deal! Young lady work in the kitchen works very hard I said hello to her and I could tell she puts her heart and soul into it to you my dear great job. I’m not a big fan of the smoking environment but I sit way down to the end of the bar to try to avoid the smoke. It’s not too bad it’s doable for me not my favorite thing but everything else is great. Thank you very much for everything. Love your food. Can’t wait to go back up there next time I’m fishing.“

“Me and my daughter came here for an early dinner. We shared the pretzels and cheese. They were ok the cheese temperature was on the colder side of it was hot it would had been a better experience. She had the chicken pot pie and I have the cottage we shared. They were very good. Our waitress was very nice and attentive. The music was very loud and hard to talk over, and also they had the football game on and people yelling, idk that was on in the dining area thought that was only car area. Food was 9/10 and service 10/10“

“Kim was my server for a Thursday night dinner. Her service was polite and efficient- such as warning me that I’d need boxes if I got the 2 for $25 as a solo diner. But such was my plan. XD
Kim checked in on me and didn’t make me feel rushed, which I appreciate as I love lingering in restaurants. She even called me back when I was leaving- I had forgotten my to-go meal on the table! Crisis averted!

Sweet Asian boneless wings- I ate them all single-handedly *gulp*
To-Go meal: cheesy Mexican chicken with rice, I forget the name, but the chicken was super moist reheated the next day. I’d ask for sour cream.
My meal: Salmon (you pay $6 more for this) with broccoli and potatoes. Flavorful and delicious. There were no leftovers.“
