“What a great find! Stopped in town for a short visit for some coffee and some breakfast. Thought it might be a bit tight, but more than enough room. It is popular so place is hopping... Got a mocha and it was great. Had the buffalo chicken sandwich and it was good- crunchy, spicy, and the slaw added a nice touch. The service was great- quick, friendly, nice people. Food was very reasonably priced... Also good portions. Love to visit again.“

“Me and my girlfriend of two years came here for a romantic Valentine's Day dinner the weekend before since both of us have extremely hectic work schedules. Jansen did not disappoint.I requested the beef wellington in advance as advised on the online menu, which also stated that it would be carved tableside with an assortment of seasonal sides (which in this case was roasted brussels, olive oil mash potatoes and portobello mushrooms stuffed with bacon and foie gras). The portions were so generous that we were able to eat half before having the rest wrapped up. Our dopamine receptors were smashed after eating here. Plus, the appetizers (butternut squash soup) and the dessert (love cake) were absolute pleasures. PLUS since neither of us drink, the waiter recommended excellent mocktails. Couldn't have loved this more!“

“What an amazing birthday dinner for my dearest. This place hit the expectations and beyond! Can we 1st talk about the impeccable service! From attentive to friendly and more! 1st we got a complimentary Amuse-bouche of butternut squash that was the perfect bite. Followed by 2 different toast appetizes...1 blue crab and 1 shrimp and was so beyond pleased! Savory but still light and fresh. Osso bucco and rack of lamb for dinner and again hit it out the park. Veal Osso bucco was served with a apple celery slaw that was so nice and light with a perfect citrus accent it, made what could have been a heavy meal feel light and balanced. That butter and veggies pared with the rack of lamb was also great compliment to eachother. And finished off with a passion fruit pavolva with coconut macaroons which was not too sweet and a delicious combo of flavors. Big A+ for this restaurant“

“First Watch is a chain; thus, their approach is the same: I personally ate breakfast in one in Greenville, Delaware.A very healthy breakfast:1. Hot oatmeal--seems to be new to the menu. lots of generously-sized raw fruit mixed throughout. Although some milk and raw sugar were supplied, the sweetner was not really needed.2. A healthy, cold, vegetable drink of kale was tasty, but with way too much ice--giving me, of course, less to drink.3. A delightfully-tasty grilled blueberry muffin was part of the mix.4. I was told I HAD to order FOUR pieces of bacon (I wanted two) . I declined to order it. Turns out they aceded to my request.5. My moderate breakfast came to $21.28 with a 20% tip--a little steep to me, but still very enjoyable!“

“Vegan reviewI used to come to this place every Wednesday for half off burgers. I’d get a turkey burger or the falafel burger. Falafel was my favorite.I stopped visiting during the pandemic, but they have great promotions through email! I took advantage of the $10 off for my birthday this year and got a falafel burger. It comes open face, with fries. VERY MINIMAL SAUCE. AND EXTRA SAUCE WILL COST YOU… A LOT.I get the spicy sauce on the side because I’m not sure if it’s vegan. I also add avocado, which I think is an extra $5 ?I recommend dining in over takeout because the fries are really soggy and unseasoned. The falafel patty itself has a very grainy, crumbly texture but crispy on the outside so if you prefer your falafel with a creamy, or smooth center then this one isn’t for you. Inside it’s nice to sit by the window and people watch but lunchtime gets very busy! This place closes at 2 PM.“

Every morsel of food was an amazing experience and a blend of complex flavors. The pasta and protein was hearty and cooked to perfection, and the desserts were phenomenal. The fusion of savory and sweet is utilized masterfully at Chez Hansi, in a way I’ve never never experienced before. I ofttimes had to look at the kitchen in shock, since I couldn’t believe that the meal was coming from one (incredibly skilled) chef in a home sized kitchen. Despite the fact that there may always be a wait for a table it really is never a problem because they will take you name & number & text when your table is ready. Another convenience is when finished with your meal your server runs your check right then & there through the use of a handheld card reader. The best part of it all though is the menu & food itself. “Great meal at Augusto's on Madison last night! As always! I want to share a story from a couple of years ago. I had booked a reservation through Open Table. As we were leaving the house to meet our friends, the phone rang and we learned that Open Table made a mistake and the restaurant was closed. They apologized and said that they would make it up to us. When I went on Open Table to book a new reservation for that night (we were walking out the door) the Augusto's reservation disappeared from my account. At that point I thought for sure I would not hear from Augusto's. I was wrong. They had been closed for repairs. Several months later, they called to let me know that they were open, invited the 4 of us back, and comped a fabulous meal! When a local business does the right thing, I think it is important to share. One of our favorites! Give them a try!“

“It was surprisingly a wonderful place. I was a little leary when I heard the name, because I grew up in Kensington, & strived to get away from there as a kid, but now,.....now it's the new hip spot to be, & this place checked all the boxes of a place I'd like to have in my suburban neighborhood. Good food, nice outdoor dining space, I like how they kept a lot of the original inside from the early 1900's, slate floor & everything. I'd like to go back sometime.“

From the delicious Banchan appetizer sampler during happy hour, to the bubbling-hot Dolsot Bibimbop with spicy pork and the SSAM, accompanied with a few refreshing IPAs on tap, it was yet another satisfying trip to our favorite local Korean spot.“

“We had George as a waiter. Fantastic service. The food was incredible. My wife had an excellent octopus. I had the wild boar. I haven't had such a good piece of meat since a trip to Italy where I had freshly culled wild boar in the small town of San Gimignano.Again, George made this night a great one. Thank you.“

“I had never tried Pho before, but was looking for something warm and spicy to battle this chilly weather we’re having. I ordered over the phone and when I went to pick up my food the owner was so incredibly friendly. He told me about how it gets chilly in Vietnam in the evenings and they’ll make their broth spicy to warm them up. The food was incredible, spicy enough to warm you from the inside and so very flavorful. I will definitely be back.“

“My good friend Pennsylvania State Representative Kevin Boyle recommended this place to me, he said it's his favorite bar to go to and blow off some steam while unwinding after work.I just visited this place last night for the first time and it was FANTASTIC!!! The Wit or Witowski sandwich was amazing and being a fan of sour beers, I thoroughly enjoyed a couple of Keep On Keepin' on sours by Lithermans Brewing Company, it paired well with the sandwich.I saw a lot of military servicemen in here having a great time, they said it was even better than a promotion! The staff was terrific and made this such an enjoyable evening that I'l never forget! Thanks so much! I'l be back!“

“Shohali greeted us with a beautiful tray of pastries and then brought us possibly the best breakfast I have ever had! Definitely the BEST creamed chipped beef - the gravy tasted like it's been cooking for hours and is full of flavor. Delicious homemade biscuits, jam, and apple butter to dip my scrapple fries in! Very friendly staff and delicious food will have us stopping back in frequently ?“

“I’ve been going to Ye Olde Ale House since the 1970’s. The roast beef is still prepared behind the bar, and the decor of this place hasn’t changed much either. Both of those are good things. Great beer selection too! Gets really crowded on Thursday, Friday and Saturday around dinner time, but they do a good job of moving people in and out.“

“First time being there, but it was great...my friend had a birthday/surprise engagement party. We had a party of about 15-20 people and the waitress did Excellent in taking our orders and separating the checks. The food was very good and fresh, the amount was great for the price(which isn't bad either) I'd recommend Empire for a date or a business luncheon...its a good find! BTW you have to get some dessert there...I didn't but it looked very tasty.“
