“Visited friends in Philly, and we ended up with a get-together over the McMenamin's. A sweet time, having a talk at a round table with sunlight, on a cold winter day. Got my own 3rd version of fish&chips upon recommendation - would definitely keep passing the recommendation!“

“Zake’s has become our go-to breakfast spot for the weekends. My hubby and I love the consistency of service and delish food. Staff recognizes us and provides excellent service. Can’t forget they have the best home fries I’ve ever had. We are only disappointed to have found Zake’s after seven years of living down the road!High recommend!!“

“What a great find! Stopped in town for a short visit for some coffee and some breakfast. Thought it might be a bit tight, but more than enough room. It is popular so place is hopping... Got a mocha and it was great. Had the buffalo chicken sandwich and it was good- crunchy, spicy, and the slaw added a nice touch. The service was great- quick, friendly, nice people. Food was very reasonably priced... Also good portions. Love to visit again.“

“I love this restaurant. The ambiance is lovely, the servers are warm and friendly and the food is excellent. I had the colorful beet salad and branzino. The salad was flavorful and refreshing. The branzino was cooked perfectly. I can't wait to go back and try something different, and try dessert.“

“Service was excellent. Friendly and accommodating staff. The food is outstanding and Love is very consistent in the quality of items they prepare. Excellent Caesar salad that had a very light dressing, for entree they prepared a succulent taste pork chop which was cooked to perfection. We all know how hard it is to cook a pork chop and keeping the tenderness and moist interior.“

“Bar Hyyge takes comfort (hygge) seriously, so their atmosphere, food, beer, and cocktails are all both comfortable and excellent. Their boards (small plate collections) are fun to customize and sample, and their burger is the best in town. We're grateful to Jay who was so gracious in letting use open parts of the restaurant for our engagement photos.“

“I came for my 21st birthday and enjoyed every second! My server Shannon did her big one and made it so easy to understand the menu and answered any questions I had! This was my first fine dining experience and I will definitely be back soon for more. Food and service was amazing. Our reservation was for later in the evening and we still got full service and was not rushed out, love love loveee“

“Me and my girlfriend of two years came here for a romantic Valentine's Day dinner the weekend before since both of us have extremely hectic work schedules. Jansen did not disappoint.I requested the beef wellington in advance as advised on the online menu, which also stated that it would be carved tableside with an assortment of seasonal sides (which in this case was roasted brussels, olive oil mash potatoes and portobello mushrooms stuffed with bacon and foie gras). The portions were so generous that we were able to eat half before having the rest wrapped up. Our dopamine receptors were smashed after eating here. Plus, the appetizers (butternut squash soup) and the dessert (love cake) were absolute pleasures. PLUS since neither of us drink, the waiter recommended excellent mocktails. Couldn't have loved this more!“

“Vegetarian perspectiveReally only one vegetarian option. However, it was good and I liked the vibe of this place. Very unassuming from the outside but busy inside! Service was great, impressive drink menu. I got a sour beer and a cider. The dessert pear donuts were amazing too! Vegetarians/vegans, just make sure to check the menu ahead since options are very limited.“

“Great spot for a private party! We had a retirement party with about 50 guests in the upstairs room at Glory Beer Bar and Kitchen. We were able to use their TV for a slide presentation, microphone for speeches, and speakers for a music playlist. David was the contact person and from start to finish he was so helpful in putting together the perfect menu! All the guests raved about the food: meat, cheese and veggies, mini cheeseburgers, fried chicken sliders, mac n cheese, and homemade cookies. Highly recommend if you are looking for a cool place with great ambiance for a private party!“

“This was my first experience at Kick Axe. I thoroughly enjoyed my time there from the moment we walked in. I was surprised how good the food was, but I was even more surprised with the service from our bartender, Arielle. She made me the best tropical drink I've had in years, I think it's called a painkiller. The axe throwing was great. Everyone in my party had a great time. Thank you Kick Axe, and thank you Arielle!“

“Such a wonderful hometown diner with relaxed, comfortable ambience and great food. The fried eggplant is absolutely the very best I have ever had. I order it as a side every time I am there. The owners are wonderful and truly care about their customers. And, although the back entrance is not the norm, you are treated with the most gorgeous flower display lovingly cared for by the owners.“

“Where do I begin? I honestly can't remember a restaurant as good as this! They made my birthday so special! We came for Lunch and were graciously greeted and seated right away. We ordered 2 pineapple/Hawaiian martinis (so delicious) and coffee (very fresh). For our main course, we ordered the Rotisserie chicken, Pepperoni flatbread, Salmon, Risotto, creamy Potatoes and crunchy Brussell sprouts. I had some requests for my meal, which the waitress was generous to accommodate! In addition, we received 2 extra food surprises I wasn't expecting (appetizers and desserts for my special day.) Every entree, appetizer and side dish were ABSOULUTELY OUTSTANDING!! The service was unbeatable. I cannot emphasize this enough! Thank you to the Chef/Manager (who personally greeted us!), our wonderful waitress and all the staff at SEASONS 52 in Cherry Hill, NJ. We will be back again and also for the wine tasting:)) Thank you again:))“

“Great little pub with top quality wings and beers. I’ve been going here over 20 years. This was one of the first great beer bars in the late 90’s when craft beer just started taking off. The staff is great, and the wings, burgers and other food is too notch.Only complaints are it’s tight inside and the parking lot can be very small/crowded. Consider finding street parking.“

“What an amazing birthday dinner for my dearest. This place hit the expectations and beyond! Can we 1st talk about the impeccable service! From attentive to friendly and more! 1st we got a complimentary Amuse-bouche of butternut squash that was the perfect bite. Followed by 2 different toast appetizes...1 blue crab and 1 shrimp and was so beyond pleased! Savory but still light and fresh. Osso bucco and rack of lamb for dinner and again hit it out the park. Veal Osso bucco was served with a apple celery slaw that was so nice and light with a perfect citrus accent it, made what could have been a heavy meal feel light and balanced. That butter and veggies pared with the rack of lamb was also great compliment to eachother. And finished off with a passion fruit pavolva with coconut macaroons which was not too sweet and a delicious combo of flavors. Big A+ for this restaurant“

“Longhorn although a chain, is very consistent, and for a traveler, that's a good thing. Local establishments are fine, and sometimes they're fantastic, but it's always great to have a reliable standby. For the local places around here, this location is a Godsend! Staff is great, friendly and pays attention. Aside from being a bit loud inside, it's clean and comfortable. It's a good spot, and every time I'm in this area, I'm definitely going to stop. Got the outlaw ribeye, medium, mushrooms on the side and asparagus.... fantastic. Everything was cooked to perfection! Thank you again for a great meal!“

LOVED trying all the different pickles!! Thank you for a very special meal! We will be back for tea service :)“

“McNally’s Tavern Chestnut Hill located at 8634 Germantown Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19118 is a world class Tavern/Pub/Restaurant! Family owned and run since its inception in the 20’s, this place has some really great food offerings. Their sandwich the “Schmitter” is a cheesesteak/grilled salami/sauce combination that is tremendous. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. The food is stellar from the sandwiches to their desserts which are homemade. Try their Chocolate cake as it’s pretty unbeatable.“

“Their food is pretty good and priced reasonably. Only issue is sometimes their home fries are hard... probably left over so Monday's are the best days for home fries. Other than that, the service is excellent. Angie is such a sweetheart, hardworking and always aims to please.“

“First Watch is a chain; thus, their approach is the same: I personally ate breakfast in one in Greenville, Delaware.A very healthy breakfast:1. Hot oatmeal--seems to be new to the menu. lots of generously-sized raw fruit mixed throughout. Although some milk and raw sugar were supplied, the sweetner was not really needed.2. A healthy, cold, vegetable drink of kale was tasty, but with way too much ice--giving me, of course, less to drink.3. A delightfully-tasty grilled blueberry muffin was part of the mix.4. I was told I HAD to order FOUR pieces of bacon (I wanted two) . I declined to order it. Turns out they aceded to my request.5. My moderate breakfast came to $21.28 with a 20% tip--a little steep to me, but still very enjoyable!“

“This is my favorite local breakfast spot. The food is typical Diner food and is always good as is the service. It's not large and it's a popular meeting place for breakfast, so get there early if you want a booth. The atmosphere is also typical Diner, with many regulars who bring a small town feel. Good food without breaking the bank!Parking: Look for the Vision Center sign, as it's hard to see the restaurant sign.“

“Vegan reviewI used to come to this place every Wednesday for half off burgers. I’d get a turkey burger or the falafel burger. Falafel was my favorite.I stopped visiting during the pandemic, but they have great promotions through email! I took advantage of the $10 off for my birthday this year and got a falafel burger. It comes open face, with fries. VERY MINIMAL SAUCE. AND EXTRA SAUCE WILL COST YOU… A LOT.I get the spicy sauce on the side because I’m not sure if it’s vegan. I also add avocado, which I think is an extra $5 ?I recommend dining in over takeout because the fries are really soggy and unseasoned. The falafel patty itself has a very grainy, crumbly texture but crispy on the outside so if you prefer your falafel with a creamy, or smooth center then this one isn’t for you. Inside it’s nice to sit by the window and people watch but lunchtime gets very busy! This place closes at 2 PM.“

“We made a 7 man reservation at 9pm for I and a friend’s birthday. We enjoyed a chefs tasting menu since it was so late and, from that, I can say that every dish here is made exceptionally well. Every morsel of food was an amazing experience and a blend of complex flavors. The pasta and protein was hearty and cooked to perfection, and the desserts were phenomenal. The fusion of savory and sweet is utilized masterfully at Chez Hansi, in a way I’ve never never experienced before. I ofttimes had to look at the kitchen in shock, since I couldn’t believe that the meal was coming from one (incredibly skilled) chef in a home sized kitchen. This place is an experience, and anyone looking to have exceptional food should be excited to eat at Chez Hansi. Maybe even honored.“

“Brilliant lovely yummy tasty food served by awesome helpful people in a tiny space. This is absolutely my favorite breakfast comfort food source when I'm in Glenside! I really look forward happily to it, every time.ps: There are booths for 2 - 5 to sit in on location, but if you have a crowd of 6 or more, I'd suggest using the carry-out option instead - its just as delicious!- And- they have always bent over backwards to help when I needed to do some dairy/wheat substitutions - not only did they hand-make a combo I could eat, but were happy and kind and generous serving it! Shout out to the waitress who I am going to forever remember as "Darby," (lol, ask her about it) who ALWAYS remembers my name! This place has Philly Hometown tastes and hospitality to its core.Parking is on the street, or, around the back in the big free parking lot. Say Hi to the owner of the Delorian for me, if he's still living there!“

“After many years since first visiting K'Far we decided to give it another go & boy oh boy were we happily rewarded. So much so that we went 2 days in a row over this holiday season. The restaurant is brightly lit & the staff are as warm & welcoming as the atmosphere. Despite the fact that there may always be a wait for a table it really is never a problem because they will take you name & number & text when your table is ready. Another convenience is when finished with your meal your server runs your check right then & there through the use of a handheld card reader. The best part of it all though is the menu & food itself. The Jerusalem bagels are thin & perfectly griddled each filled with various ingredients and the salads are not to be missed. We highly recommend this dining destination & are already looking towards the next return.“

“The food is so good. This was my first time trying this place and I will definitely be back regularly. The restaurant is larger than it looks from outside, there is plenty of seating and parking was not a problem. I ordered the chicken shawarma platter and the baklava cheesecake. Do yourself a favor and order 2 of the baklava cheesecakes. I regretted only ordering one when I got home.“

“Great meal at Augusto's on Madison last night! As always! I want to share a story from a couple of years ago. I had booked a reservation through Open Table. As we were leaving the house to meet our friends, the phone rang and we learned that Open Table made a mistake and the restaurant was closed. They apologized and said that they would make it up to us. When I went on Open Table to book a new reservation for that night (we were walking out the door) the Augusto's reservation disappeared from my account. At that point I thought for sure I would not hear from Augusto's. I was wrong. They had been closed for repairs. Several months later, they called to let me know that they were open, invited the 4 of us back, and comped a fabulous meal! When a local business does the right thing, I think it is important to share. One of our favorites! Give them a try!“
“what a cute spot!!! the decor was very festive :) romantic and cozy but very lovely with friends too. a group of 6 boys were seated at the table next to us. i walked in with a friend on wednesday around dinner time. our server said to sit "wherever you're comfortable" which i loved.moscow mule is SO good. it is sweeter and the flavor has more depth than other versions of this drink that i've tried. it uses a vanilla vodka! topped with club soda instead of ginger beer but has ginger press. really lovely. makes me want to try their take on other classics. they have fresh flowers on almost every table and a little candle. there are mirrors everywhere and a fake fireplace with a candle set it in. def come by if you're in the area!“

“We hosted my husband's 40th surprise birthday party here, and everything was incredible! From the very start of planning the event with Kevin, the events manager, to the service the day of the party, to the food, to the atmosphere -- everything was top notch! We had an absolute blast, and the hospitality to go along with it just made everything incredible. Our private room / area was great for our guests, we even had our own bathroom. The food was plentiful and so delicious. And the beer is always awesome. “It was surprisingly a wonderful place. I was a little leary when I heard the name, because I grew up in Kensington, & strived to get away from there as a kid, but now,.....now it's the new hip spot to be, & this place checked all the boxes of a place I'd like to have in my suburban neighborhood. Good food, nice outdoor dining space, I like how they kept a lot of the original inside from the early 1900's, slate floor & everything. I'd like to go back sometime.“

“I had never tried Pho before, but was looking for something warm and spicy to battle this chilly weather we’re having. I ordered over the phone and when I went to pick up my food the owner was so incredibly friendly. “I’ve been going to Ye Olde Ale House since the 1970’s. The roast beef is still prepared behind the bar, and the decor of this place hasn’t changed much either. Both of those are good things.
