Our family brought a variety for Easter dessert and they were the best cupcakes I have had in a very long time! Even better…they are PEANUT FREE!!!! This was the first time my son, 18 years old, had a cupcake from an actual bakery! That means the world to this mom!! I think he ate at least three!! Thank you so very much for your dedication to not only making amazing and delicious treats, but giving the peanut/nut free community a safe place to go to enjoy desserts. I was accosted by him in the parking lot and thought he was going to attack. I’ve also seen him on other occasions harass patrons that are coming in. “I was in the area and decided to pop by to try a thing or two. Not knowing anyone who had tried them before I stuck to the small, individual sized items…browned butter chocolate chip cookies, morning croissant and some pizza dough. It all comes frozen but I had other places to go so some started defrosting in the car. Here’s my review of each. Cookies - I don’t like ANY chocolate chip cookie that doesn’t have nuts in them. I usually wouldn’t even buy them, I decided to try these because of the browned butter. I had one in the car before I got home and they were AMAZING! I shocked myself at how much I enjoyed them. They were soft without being chewy, a feature I hate in cookies personally, and had nice crispy edges, even after defrosting! The taste, texture and everything about these defied all that I thought was possible with a gf cookie! 10 out of 10 Pizza dough - since it was defrosted by the time I got him I decided to make a couple mini pizzas. I used half the dough, I bag will easily make 4-5 personal sized pizzas. I thought I had rolled it too thin as it started to break apart so I made it a little thicker. It rises while cooking so when I do the rest, I’ll leave it thinner for sure. Because other gf pizzas seem to have such difficulty cooking in the city I was concerned when I saw these rising. But they cooked up beautifully! It was soooo nice having gf pizzas seem that had the taste and texture of traditional crust. I appreciate suppliers for having the option available, and some are better than others…but the Flakely dough is the standard now! I’ll never buy another gf pizza, whether it be a restaurant or a market. 10 out of 10 Morning croissant - I put this right in the freezer so I haven’t tasted it yet. But it looks phenomenal! They described it as a cross between a cinnamon roll and a croissant. You can’t go wrong with that combo as a general thing but given how the cookie and pizza dough has tasted, I have no doubt this will be terrific as well! Run, don’t walk, over to their shop and let’s make sure they’re around for the long haul. Just beware, they might spoil you against some of your existing faves!“

“I love what Happy Mixer has to offer generally. I'm already a faithful customer But, I recently did a custom order where I asked if they could make their chocolate dipped butter cookies as just butter cookies with sugar. It was something I wanted to try on a hunch I had about my past Christmas memories... Happy Mixer made a cookie that tasted exactly how my dad used to make sugar cookies at Christmas time. I can't thank you enough. I can have those cookies again, and I haven't had cookies like that since I went gluten free. Wonderful! Sometimes I ask Happy Mixer for the regular things they make with less icing or no icing - my father's northern German influence on me, I guess. And, The folks at Happy Mixer have been willing to do this for me, and I appreciate so much.“

“I've been buying from Isgros since 1975. Anyone who writes a bad review of this beloved bakery is likely to think the Grand Canyon is merely a hole in the ground. Don't believe any of their drivel. Maybe.....maybe!....they caught a bad batch of goods....but its highly unlikely. Everything sells out! How can stuff be stale? Impossible!! Everything they produce is simply sensational. I've never heard of any complaints from anybody who I know to be a regular customer. Pricing? Is that even worth mentioning? Does anyone gripe about the price of a Mercedes? The goods cost what they cost because they're high quality and delicious.“
