“We were in the area for one night, camping nearby, and wanted a simple meal with outdoor seating so we could bring our dog. We were happy to get exactly that. McGrath's is a small, local bar with typical bar food. 5 stars for being as advertised. Any negative reviews are by people who don't love a good dive bar!“

“We arrived a bit late with not much time left before closing. Service was prompt without being rushed, the food was delightful. I was particularly impressed with the onion soup, tasty not salty, with gobs of delicious cheese. Chicken Parm hero was well made and most enjoyable. We'll definitely go back again and again.“

“10 out of 10 recommend Fork N Bowl. My grandson has celiacs and it was a stress free experience. No worries about cross contamination because EVERYTHING is gluten free. The staff was so friendly and patient. Did I mention how delicious the food is?“

Great wait staff. I always bring my friends for breakfast Saturday and it never disappoints! Coffee is great and free flowing. They get busy right about 10:00AM but the waitresses keep up quite efficiently. Love the veggie omelette!“

“My husband and I decided to try this place for the first time and we were amazed! We started with potato pancakes, calamari, and the mozzarella en Carozza and it was like it was touched by the hand of God it was so delicious! Then I had the pretzel chicken with the mashed potatoes and the green beans! I've been looking for pretzel chicken done this way all over the valley and this is the only place that does it the way I like it with the mustard sauce. My dinner also came with a soup and I chose the Italian wedding and it tasted better than mine! My husband had the Joseph's double stuffed crust pizza with pepperoni added on top and we've had other double stuffed crust white pizzas before and this one is at the top of the list! We're definitely coming back and we will be bringing friends and family! Thank you so much for the amazing experience and our waitress was absolutely fantastic and extremely attentive!“

“AV is my family's favorite restaurant. They have a variety of different options on their menu, from homemade pastas, to fresh seafood, to decadent fresh salads. The ingredients and pairings are absolutely out of this world, and are comparable to a NYC level of presentation and taste.
The service is impeccable. From the moment you walk through the door, you are greeted with warm & smiling faces. The servers are very thorough, extremely welcoming, and make you feel like you belong. They are very knowledgeable about the menus, and are happy to give great suggestions.
To say that AV Restaurant is the best restaurant in Scranton isn't even scratching the surface of just how fabulous of an establishment it truly is. If I could give 10 stars I would. You must give this place a try!!!!“

“Our first visit a few weeks ago left a great impression on us. So much so last night we took our family & friends to help us celebrate our 50th anniversary. Since there were 17 of us we sat at the bar & 2 bar height tables. We felt since there were many of us we chose to go as soon as they opened. This we felt did not take away during their busy dinner time. Great service, great food & awesome time was had by all. I can’t say enough of how wonderful this place is. “So much to say about this amazing establishment. Food is excellent. Drinks are amazing and there list of available drinks if one of the largest I've ever seen. The wait staff has always been on point. they are friendly and quick to get your drink refilled. there is so much to do between there live music venues, multiple pool tables, slots, or just hang out on there outdoor patio. all around this place is a must go“

“The Nyx bar is a refreshing bar that serves unique and great drinks. My favorite drink at the moment is the pear martini and the orange crush (which they use fresh squeezed orange juice). The vibe in the bar is very welcoming and comfortable to be in. The bartenders are so attentive and respectful one of them sierra was making 4 drinks while taking an order and she got it all correct.

Now the food is were it gets better. My favorite thing to eat so far is the penne and vodka pasta and the garlic parm wings. Unfortunately didn’t get a pic of the pasta but those wings are to die for. Would recommend this place.

The only complaint I have for this place is I wish it was open later.“
