Streetlight is a great place to eat with friends and family.The atmosphere is great and the servers are very polite. The wait time was 45 mins but it was okay because it’s intimate and peaceful and holds 45 ppl when is low key and mystique Shaan was my bartender and was super amazing and loving. Attentive although rot was pack but made us feel welcome and happy. Rito was the bartender and his drink was amazing short exotic and delicious. Nicole was the hostess the mostest. We ordered a second dish of the carrots, and also the cukes. Dessert was outstanding. Interesting wines, including a chilled Croatian wine that paired well with every dish. Definitely returning. “We usually come here on date nights for drinks, but decided to dine here before we moved out of the city. We are continuously impressed with the inventive nature of those working here. Both food and drink menus are rotating, some items new from season to season, while other staple items are reimagined with nuances to keep people’s palettes on their toes. I don’t think we’ve ordered something here that we haven’t thoroughly enjoyed. Tom is the mixologist bartender who is always pushing boundaries with his house cocktails. He has told us before that he tries to create a drink for each flavor profile. There seems to be a unique selection for everyone, and just like the chefs with their dishes, Tom is unapologetic in his choice of ingredients. There seems to be a lot of passion and pride in what is made here. Kiddo has a relaxed atmosphere, and the bar is our go-to spot. I cannot recommend this place enough, it is one-of-a-kind.“

“Intimate, moody venue with very elaborate cocktails that feature several ‘washed’ ingredients (e.g. gochujang washed xyz). It’s pretty cool, I guess. I would recommend stopping for 1 or 2 but I wouldn’t make it my whole night because it’s an awkward layout. The music was good, but something doesn’t quite gel together for me, albeit a beautiful space. We were downstairs (walk-in) - didn’t see upstairs (reserved tables), to be fair.“

“This was my second visit to Ripplewood Whiskey & Craft, and my first time experiencing their happy hour—and it did not disappoint. The menu had a great variety, and I enjoyed both the drinks and the pork bao buns.

A standout “happy accident” was ordering the pretzel rolls with truffle butter… absolutely amazing. That alone is worth coming back for.

The bartenders were attentive and provided great service throughout our visit. We also tried the deviled eggs, which were just okay for me—the mustard base was a bit too strong for my taste.

Overall, Ripplewood is a lovely spot with a relaxed vibe and nice outdoor seating in the back. It’s a great place for drinks, small bites, and a chill evening out.“

“My husband took me out to Philly for an early Mother’s Day gift. He said we were going to a “speakeasy” type bar in Chinatown but I didn’t believe him. When we got to an iron screen door, he was like this is it and I was like you got to be kidding me. The owner came out, asked my husband if he knew it was a cash bar took our ids then went inside. The owner brought back our ids then took us inside to a foyer where he told us the rules of the bar. Cash only, absolutely, no photography and no phones. If you need to take a phone call, you go back to foyer area or outside to not disturb people. We agreed to rules and went inside. The bar was dimly lit with candles on each table. The decor was amazing with pictures and antiques on the wall. We were sat at a table and given a cocktail menu. The cocktails were unique and separated by whiskey, gin, vodka and rum. If you need a light since it is so dim in the bar, they will bring you a light because they brought one to my husband. There were no beers on the menu so if that is what you’re looking for then this isn’t the place for you. We ordered our cocktails and they were amazing. Since there is no phone usage, you have more of an intimate experience with the person you are with because you aren’t distracted by your phone. We sat and talked while drinking our drinks. The owner came over and asked us about our drinks and how we were doing. We then ordered another round of drinks and continued talking. We enjoyed our time at Hop Sing Laundromat. Service was great, bartenders were great, owner was great, and the ambiance was amazing. This is a great date night spot for anyone who wants to enjoy a intimate setting with a cocktail or two. I would post pictures but again, No Photography so you would have to go in order to see it to believe it. You will enjoy this experience and not be disappointed.“

“I came here for the second time with my younger sister on a random weekday night. The server / bartender was super welcoming and so thoughtful! She was always consistently checking in with us. My sister and I got mocktails which were pretty good, not too tart, not too sweet. We both got smash burgers which were decent. It wasn't too greasy or messy, which is appreciated. Will return again to try out some other items!“

“This is a fantastic place for a work event! Excellent value and everyone had a great time! Don't worry about if everyone will play darts - they will and it is lots of fun. Flight Club can provide the photos and videos that were taken during the event to share with others, which is a great addition to make the fun last. We went with the tasting menu instead of a la carte and found the dishes good, but not anything particularly special. They were very accommodating with an allergy which was very nice. I'd like to try the bar menu but probably don't need another dining room experience.“

“I am a regular at Spin Philadelphia. I usually go and have a very good time. I enjoy the food, drinks, and the atmosphere. I recently had a situation where someone asked security to deal with me. I was upset and started acting up because I was being wrongfully accused. Even though my night was going bad, I felt better because of the way I was treated by some staff. The security guy with the bandana and the front desk ping pong player were very nice to me. They heard me out, showed me respect, and were very understanding of the situation. The place is so cozy and comfortable. The staff is absolutely accommodating attentive, friendly and fast.

“Pretty atmosphere and good food“

“Very friendly service, very pleasant surroundings. Perfect place to stop and have a light nosh. There’s ciders are quite good, but on the dry side, which I especially appreciate. They also have excellent local wines and white snack snacks. Highly recommend recommended.“

“First Ill start with the pros - the staff Katelyn and Fiona were soo sweet, attentive, and welcoming. Katelyn wasn’t even our assigned server for the night but she made our evening! The view is beautiful and the building that it’s in is so cool. We were sat down right away for our reservation and the food was really tasty. We were overall very satisfied and would return most definitely.

Now for the cons - I would have to agree the serving sizes are small for the price point truly. The food tasted yummy so it didnt necessarily bug us too much, but I definitely would recommend coming here only for a light dinner/ appetizers with drinks type of place. For example the fish we got was $75 (market price) and the pasta was a few bites per person for a full size. Definitely wouldn’t recommend a group of more than four people just based on the seating. Overall I think coming here for a date, birthday or nice dinner is a wonderful experience and I hope that the staff get the appreciation they deserve.“
