“I always have a decent experience at this store but the one worker Tiara went above and beyond to explain the online ordering when I called. The other worker was also working hard even though the customers she was dealing with were crackheads and trying to make fun of her. Tiara I even asked hey could you just make me another sandwich since I put the wrong coupon in, and she said no I can’t. Even when I offered a tip. She passed the test. I used to work for subway when I was 17 on 51 and Smithfield etc. owner sonny.“

“Not only are these some of the best subs we have ever had, but this place has one of the coolest atmospheres we have ever experienced. We just moved to Pittsburgh and were looking for our go-to sub place and Peppi’s was recommended multiple times. Walking in and you’re instantly met with real hard-working Pittsburgh people and a culturally rich atmosphere that highlights local celebrities, area history, and all around Pittsburgh pride. All this on top of an incredible sandwich and fries every-time and we have our spot for many years to come. “This is hands down the best fish and chip spot in Pittsburgh. The fish, shrimp and fries were excellent. Perfectly crispy on the outside and the inside just melts in your mouth. The house made donuts are also to die for. Highly recommend checking them out and the owner is super nice too!“

I was skeptical about the hummus being on the sandwich and originally asked for it to be made without but i’m honestly glad that they ended up putting it on there because it took it to a whole new level! “First time ordering and got a hoagie, when I first walked in they were very welcoming and sweet. It’s so cute and simple. The hoagie was pretty good! It was huge I’d have to say. For reference got a 12-inch. I 1000% recommend , definitely coming back. And this time going to try some sweet treats.

And I forgot to add they always give you a free pickle lol I didn’t know until I opened the wrapping and I was so surprised. I thought it was cute though.“

“The people working at Jersey Mike's on Saturday evening, July 18 2020 went above and beyond for us. I placed an online order and on our way to get the order the vehicle we were driving in broke down. I called and explained the situation because I knew we wouldn't get there before close. The person I spoke with was so kind and assured me I could still get my order. Unfortunately, we weren't able to get there at all and when I called to explain and offer my order to the closing team, the person who answered was again so kind and offered to refund my order even though I had no intention of asking for that. It was just a nice gesture and the care they showed for our situation was amazing. I will make sure to order from them more often! Thanks guys!“

“Gosh. All this time the best pepper steak hogie was around the corner from me. Lol. Drive by this establishment all the time and never paid attention to what was there. Goggle "steak hogie near me" and this place popped up. I said " i got nothing to lose" and i was right. I dint loose anything instead i gained some happiness. Great prices. The half of hogie sized it basically the size of a whole hogie at most other steak houses. The bread, onions, and of course the steak is amazing. Ppl friendly, and the atmosphere reminds me of what life used to or what life should be lol. Idk i guess iam getting to deep for just a review lol. My opinion try house of Rudy's you wont be disappointed.“

“Everyone was so incredibly friendly here! Their gluten free bread is good and they're really careful about cross contamination. I saw them switch their gloves, get new/clean utensils, put down fresh paper on the cutting board. I'd highly recommend Jersey Mike's in general, this location is the best!“

“We go usually on weekends and must have their wings. Almost tried with all the sauces the offer.
One of best part is, they offer 9-11pm happy hours which none of the restaurants/bars offer because that’s the pick customer time.
Their cocktails are also amazing.
Staff is very courteous and food service is quick depending on the customer rush.
Overall its my go to place and you must try as well.“

“I am somewhat new to the area and have been in this location twice. Yes it is more expensive than Subway but there is no comparison. I think if you are willing to spend the extra dollars you’ll be happy here. I know what $10 buys me at Subway. And they’ve been going downhill for years. I’d rather spend the extra money at Primo’s or just do without! The quality is much higher and ingredients seem a lot fresher. IMO. I don’t think you could go wrong with anything on menu. I usually skip the cheese but not here. Anything with turkey is lower in calories so I’ve only had that so far. A lot of women could probably get two meals out of the primo size sandwich if you get a small side. Their potato salad is different but very good. They were out of rice pudding today so they substituted dirty pudding. While I don’t need the extra sugar, it is very good! Store seems very clean as well. The saying ‘You get what you pay for’ applies here!“

“On the evening of Jan 7, 2025 we were hungry travelers coming through Pittsburg on our way home. We headed to chipotle when we saw this little sub station. So happy we stopped here instead! The food was DELICIOUS and the service just as great. The young men greeted us enthusiastically and took good care to make us super tasty subs! The place is clean and fun. We 💯 recommend! The bread is unique but amazing.. soft and chewy on this inside and crispy on the outside- holds all the goodies inside. We could taste every single ingredient - not just a bread sandwich. Good check em out! And thanks to the 3 gentlemen working last night!“

Another table close by also complained of wait time. we were given the excuse that a large party came in ( not true) and large number of take outs (?). of my day. This team is always HUSTLING. Sometimes the universe isn’t working in their favor (A/C issues, RUDE customers, etc.) Despite these challenges, the staff is always friendly, personable and working hard. In a college town where the shop is always busy, you don’t always get that. People are LUCKY this shop is the way it is and should be less rude (hint: being kind costs $0 and no one appreciates you acting entitled customers) More businesses need to not sweat the small stuff and keep vibing along running business as usual. “I live close to this subway and the two women who are working here are awesome. I know I will get consistent and methodically well made sub.Because the store is clean and the workers are friendly and welcoming I recommend this particular location.

Parking: The parking lot is in a plaza so there is plenty of parking.“

“Half dozen people behind the counter and had to wait awhile to order and that process wasn't good either. Food was pretty good but they left off the sauce then tore my wrap apart to try and add it. Ended up with it on my hands instead. Expensive too at over $16 for a wrap, chips, and a fountain drink. I'll still come back though, cautiously.“
