“I always have a decent experience at this store but the one worker Tiara went above and beyond to explain the online ordering when I called. The other worker was also working hard even though the customers she was dealing with were crackheads and trying to make fun of her. Tiara I even asked hey could you just make me another sandwich since I put the wrong coupon in, and she said no I can’t. Even when I offered a tip. She passed the test. “This is THE sandwich shop. Period. Read amazing reviews from people about this place and decided to give it a shot yesterday afternoon. It was by far the best experience I have had in any restaurant in quite some time. I had ordered their Reuben, and I ordered a Steak Hoagie for a family member of mine. When I say I have been eating Reubens for a very long time, I mean it. This was the BEST Reuben I had EVER eaten. My family member also had stated that that was the BEST Steak Hoagie she had EVER eaten as well. Got the Turbo Fries as well, and they came with an absolutely delicious hot sauce that they make in-house. The owner(?) I think was the one who prepared our food, and after we had started to dig into this amazing food, he then proceeded to come over and ask us what we thought of the food. Man if that ain't the most wholesome thing you could experience while eating at a new place, I don't know what is! The woman who took our order was extremely kind and helpful as we ordered. If I could give this place 10/5 for Food, Atmosphere, and Service I absolutely would. I CANNOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE ENOUGH. You NEED a sandwich like what they make here. I will be back again, and again, and again.. you get the picture. My favorite place for sandwiches as of yesterday. Thank you to all who make this place as great as it is!“

“It's a classic older family run restaurant. 1980's Pepsi menu boards, cheap prices, family owned, etc. The subs/hoagies are 100% over rated. Now the burgers, pizzas, fries, broccoli bites are worth it. They are priced well and taste pretty good. Have been there a few times to try their menu and can see going back.“

“In Pittsburgh for the weekend and ordered food for a large group from The Chip Shop. Absolutely everything was excellent! We had to feed twelve people, so we had a variety of menu items and can report that nobody was disappointed. I did not personally pick up the food, but the folks that did said that the service was friendly, efficient, and helpful. We also had the donuts, and they, too, were a big hit! Recommend highly!“

“Primanti Bros is what Pittsburgh is known for. It is the Philly cheesesteak of Pittsburgh. They are known for their sandwiches, which come with French fries within them. They have multiple locations throughout the city, but we chose to go to the one at strip district as it is the original first ever location. Being a weekend, there was a long queue, but the queue moved fast, and we were seated within 15 minutes. I got the original Pitts burger while my friend got the cajun chicken sandwich. Mine tasted great, but my friend’s chicken was quite dry and chewy. While the sandwich was actually quite good, I am not sure if I will be coming back any time soon. I guess I just like my fries to be on the side and not inside the sandwich.“

The hardest part is resisting the donuts and ice cream that are also in the same plaza.Parking: Parking can be tight and limited depending on time of day“

“Went for the first time 4/11/24.Atmosphere: parking lot is a little strange, but it's labelled super well. I picked up takeout so wasn't inside very long, but it was clean and nice looking.Service: employees were very nice and helpful. I asked for a modification on a sandwich (half pickles, half banana peppers) and they did it no problem.Food: got two cold subs, 2' Italian and 1' turkey, and potato salad. Bread was fresh, and there was a good amount of toppings like the meat and veggies. The meat on the Italian wasnt what I expected - it was ham and some kind of soft meat with spices in it (maybe bologna, I'm not really sure). We both thought it tasted great though. I loved the potato salad. I think it might have been a loaded baked potato style - seemed to have bacon in it.One thing that was weird to me is that they charged extra for pickles/banana peppers/jalapenos. It was over $2 to get pickles on a 2' sub. They were jarred so I'm not really sure why it was so much. That being said it wouldn't deter me from coming back. Will return!!“

“Food was delicious as always. Service was on point to make sure it was made the way we wanted. Atmosphere cannot really be controlled as it is in the food court. So worth it though!!Kid-friendliness: There are options for children and the fries are not served scorching hot.“

“I'm visiting Pittsburgh with my girlfriend and we decided to try out this deli. We got a Teresa's Arrosto diManzo and a Tutti. Portions are generous and they come with a pickle spear. We toasted on the pickle and both bit in. The pickle was perfect. The Tutti had a nice balsamic dressing and I polished it off fast. To my girlfriend's chagrin. The Arrosto had a nice horseradish dressing. It was amazing. Definitely enjoyed my time here.“

“What a divine breakfast we enjoyed here this morning! After enjoying delicious made-in-house beef in the Allegheny Omelete served alongside potatoes (with the perfect amount of salt) and a side of horseradish sauce along with an order of fluffy scrambled eggs with made-in house-turkey, we deemed it one of the best breakfasts around! Our waitress was adorable, friendly, cheery, and after she described several of the upcoming week's specials, we decided to come back again in the next few days for lunch!! “Typical primantis food. Consistent & quintessential pittsburgh fair. We went during lunch on a weekend so it was really busy but we didn't wait for a seat and the staff was hustling. Every hand was on deck getting food out as quickly as possible.“

“They make really good sandwiches. I had the Italian sub. The bread was soft and chewy and the fillings were tasty. I will probably go extra meat next time just because it tasted so good. My wife had the fish sandwich. This was no little fish sandwich! The filet of fish hung out a good 3 inches in each side of the bun. It's a plain sandwich with just the fish, but it was light and flakey (you can add cheese, tartar or ketchup. I would definitely recommend it.“

Typically reasonable Family members had complained about high prices for what you get, but I didn't think it was bad considering the fact it's fast food wings. I may not be as impressed if I paid full board price though? Sauces aren't my exact jam, but ones I had were solid, but nothing memorable. “I loved experiencing the primanti sandwich in Pittsburgh. The number two best seller Pitts-burger was average. I would suggest any of the other originals. The slaw that is one of the toppings was great l just don't love items on a sandwich that make your bread soggy. There are generous children options available. I shared a picture of the pizza and fries. The lunch hour on a Sunday is busy so nice to see an active environment. It's an experience and a great place to dine with others.“
