“A group of 5 of us visited Dish last night and the meals were amazing. Grilled Squid, the best I have ever had. Where else can you find it not breaded and fried? Add to that their amazing sardines so fresh and good. Pasta Funghi another high. Exquisite detail to taste in every dish. The owners go way out of their way to make you feel welcomed and happy and very satisfied. A must visit when you are lucky enough to get a reservation though other friends have happily sat at the bar for dinner just to be there!! Kudos to Dish!“

“This location was recommended for a medical school reunion in Pittsburgh by our alumni association. The food was excellent and the portions very generous. We did the family style dining for a large group, and it was very well received. One of my Italian classmates sate the the Cacio e Pepe was the best that he had tasted outside of Milan. I would strongly recommend this location for really first rate Italian food and a great atmosphere“

“My son and daughter-in-law got married this past weekend Nov.1. we had catering fom Julianos. From start to finish Roseanne and Nick were absolutely 100% amazing! Roseanne helped me tweak the menu, made suggestions and answered any questions I had. The brides choices were tortellini Alfredo, chicken parm, meatballs, stuffed shells, and pasta with salad and rolls.The food was delivered on time..the delivery driver was great!.He went over the order and made sure it was all there. The food was delicious! we got so many compliments from guests! it was such a wonderful day and I would recommend Julianos 10/10 for catering your special day! (and any day for dinner too!) Thank you Nick and especially Roseanne for everything!!“

“The Market in Verona is so awesome. It is so great to go in and get good quality food that you can reheat at home. I recently got the Eggplant Parmesan, pasta and risotto balls. Everything was so delicious and enough for another dinner. My husband got the Chicken Parmesan and really enjoyed it also. The service at the Market is outstanding and it was so nice to also meet Andrew the owner. I am looking forward to coming back again and getting more of this high quality and delicious Italian Food that reminded me so much of what my Mommy used to make. I highly recommend them.“

“we were there last Thursday to celebrate my birthday and also my bfs as they are on the same day. we heard nothing but good things. Pasta was cold, filet not prepared correctly then given back to me burnt on the outside and raw on the inside. We were so very disappointed. $200 wasted and I walked away hungry. “We have been going to Piccolo Forno for years. It is my favorite restaurant. The staff is outstanding. The food is creative and menu items are changed regularly to make use of seasonal ingredients. There are so many delicious choices on the menu that it is difficult to decide what to order. The food is reasonably priced and the corkage fee is less than most restaurants. This restaurant is a gem for anyone who loves delicious Italian food!“

“I am so glad my husband and I found Yoli's. We went there for the 2nd time tonight and every single thing we got was phenomenal just like the 1st time! From their salads, to the bread and oil, to their Yoli Rolis, to the stuffed shells, to the Grandma Bevy, the food is just unbelievable. I got the crab cake tonight and I have to say, it was one of the best I've ever had, and I've had them in Maryland! We got the canookie for dessert and it was bigger than our heads but unbelievably amazing. Plus everything is SUPER reasonably priced! On top of everything else, the staff is extremely friendly! “First time dining at Ranucci's and it will not be the last. We were greeted by the owner upon arriving. Very friendly and very inviting. Our waiter was also very friendly and ver attentive. The food portions were very big and absolutely delicious. We started with a beet salad and it was so good. I had the CC's veal with crab cakes and my friend had the Sunday gravy. Both dishes were delicious and the red sauce on the Sunday gravy was out of this world. We had a tiramisu for dessert and again, it was outstanding. For a nice evening out, give them a try.“

“This place has become our go-to place for Italian food in the city! Each time we go, it’s incredible! The atmosphere is unique as it sits inside an old, historical home in the north side. The recently updated bar and lounge is a great spot for a pre-dinner cocktail.

The meatballs and arancini are such of favorite appetizers. And, we also mix and match with the pasta and protein dishes. The lemon chicken is incredible, as is the gnocchi. We recently tried the veal and it’s the best we have EVER had. 10/10 all around! ❤

Menu selections included: • Gemelli with Homemade Meat Sauce – twisted pasta served with a rich, slow-simmered sauce • Cavatappi with Creamy Pesto – corkscrew pasta tossed in a vibrant basil pesto sauce The food servings were plentiful, the aroma was inviting, and the dishes were bright, fresh, and full of flavor. You could truly taste the quality of the ingredients. Jen was excellent with communication throughout the process, making everything smooth and easy. We would definitely recommend Sprezzatura for your catering needs!“

Zucchini app was served fast. Wine cork fee $5. Dinner salad was very small, but dinners; veal Marsala & chicken piccata was generous & delicious. Seemed there was a staffing shortage, waitress was catering to party of 12 celebrating a bday. Had to practically beg for a dessert & coffee. I asked for a coffee refill; waitress replied do you want to wait on a new pot as she took my cup & saucer from me. for @ 20 patrons in restaurant it was noisy. Family atmosphere with white table clothed tables. Good parking. Would go back for food, hoping not getting same rude waitress.“

She even second guessed sitting a couple right beside our party yet still did it with the entire upstairs open, this makes sense if it’s busy. Would still return for the meal. “Came here when I was on a trip from out of town. The woman on the phone was extremely pleasant, which was very refreshing considering how most to-go places are nowadays. Customer service is truly top notch.

What was even more surprising was how truly delicious every part of our meals were. My wife and I were shocked by the massive portion sizes and the high quality of the food. Everything was amazing.

I will be dreaming about the next time we can come out again, and we won’t be looking for food anywhere else.“

“Love the concept of this restaurant / bookshop where you can peruse before or after. I personally would enjoy reading with a glass of wine or cup of coffee and some snacks, but I digress.

Had a solo dinner and the service was attentive and kind, though when busy the visits became less frequent and at longer intervals. Excellent cocktail and wine list. I had a little bit of everything from the dinner menu but found my two pastas to be under seasoned and on the cold side (I like it piping hot). The dessert just didn’t do it for me; the texture was both gritty and mushy and way too tart.

I did enjoy my time but for the money spent, I think I rather put it toward new books.“
