“Attended a funeral luncheon for my best friend's father. Food was very good and wait staff was very attentive and helpful. My first time there even though I grew up in DELCO and just a few miles down the road. I'm sorry I missed out for so long!“

“We came for lunch and it really hit the spot. A variety of oysters are on the menu and we had fun trying all of them. The grilled salmon salad was excellent, especially if you like arugula. The salmon was so wonderfully cooked, melty inside and nice char outside. The fries are also delicious.“

“So I'm gonna give Estia a 4, an average of 2 different visits (one was a 5/5 but the other was a 3/5). My first time at Estia was years ago for restaurant week and their lamb chops were one of the most delicious things I've ever eaten in Philly. More recently, I visited a second time. The lamb chops were a tad too salty this time so I was disappointed by that. My favorite item from the recent visit was the cheese saganaki which had nice flavor. My party did not enjoy the spanakopita. It was pretty bland. My friend loves spanakopita so she was excited to order it but she was very underwhelmed. I wouldn't recommend ordering that appetizer. We got the spreads pikilla, which came w/ 3 different spreads and pita. The spreads were pretty good! I've had better but they weren't bad. The fried calamari was one of the better calamari's I've had and the dipping sauce was really good too. The grilled shrimp was scrumptious but overpriced for just 4 pieces. Unfortunately the pasta ala grecca was very dry. It seemed like it was reheated. My partner got the chicken which was tasty and came w/ a flavorful orzo. I probably won't go back to Estia for a little while b/c of how the most recent visit went, with so many inconsistencies. But I'd love to circle back at some point, especially since I was so impressed during the first visit. The service is pretty good!“

“We had the best service with Kate! She gave us tips on what to order and ahead of time was dead on. We started with a cocktail and had a glass of wine with dinner. We split the spicy chicken empanadas, delicious, however, we did not detect the spice. We split the green chili Caesar. Honestly, the best Caesar in town. I do t see how they get it so cold and crisp, it's amazing! We then each had a ceviche. The baby shrimp, which were much bigger than anticipated, such wonderful flavor! My daughter had the crab, the server suggested mixing it right away to get the sauce mixed in. Very good! It did need more liquid. We simply poured the extra shrimp sauce in the crab, it was superb after that. The tomato on the shrimp just gives it more moisture and such a good flavor! We can't wait to go back!“

“What a wonderful experience we had here. We had a reservation at 8:30pm, luckily for us we were the only ones eating at that time for the omakase. The chef was able to make all the sushi and serve us quickly, which was nice. All the fish was fresh and tasted delicious ?. Kimchi Omakase is truly a gem for the price. “Came here for a business dinner. It was really an amazing experience. This place is a bit pricey but you get what you pay for. It's a tapas style tasting menu so they just bring you out like a dozen different dishes. The portions were perfect and everything was cooked to perfection. The ambiance is really nice and although the space is small it's not loud at all. I thought the waiter was also very nice professional and knowledgeable. This is definitely a high end place that is worth a visit. This may be one of the best restaurants in Philly.“

“Really great. I had the Chongqing spicy broth, wagyu, head on prawns, scallops, and lamb as my meats and went crazy in the self serve area. Great quality meats and vegetable selection. Broth was good, service was good. I had to wait for about 1 hour because you cannot make a reservation for a 2 top, but it was well worth it. I left completely satisfied for 40 dollars plus tax, no uncharged. Highly recommended.“

“Been craving for a good clam chowder and my husband took me here. I've had quite a lot of clam chowder in my life and this place has by far the best clam chowder i've ever had hands down. Came back three more times for the clam chowder and to try other things of course. The food is okay, little heavy handed on the salt for all other foods i've had except for the clam chowder. Would probably tell them less salt in the future since now I know. Customer service so far has always been 10/10, super nice and attentive. Would def keep coming back but tell them less salt on everything lol“

I know Thai food is sweet, but this is another level of sweet. And the coconut noodle soup, it has no flavor and tasted so coconuty. It would have been better if they use rice noodle or glass noodle instead of vermicelli noodle.The ambience is plain, but it looks new and clean. The color of the building looks unattractive in my opinion.Service is good, but it takes awhile for the food to come out. “Four of us went there last night and all had a great time. The prices are through the roof; the bill for the four of us was $605, but it was worth it. Every single morsel of food and drop of liquid is superb; I can't even single any one item out. The staff members are all pleasant and professional, including the runners who deliver the food and take away the empty plates. They give me one more reason to believe that immigration is such a great thing for our country, despite what a certain narcissist politician and his cult followers might say. “One of the best and authentic Indonesian restaurants in the states. The other one is in Atlanta GA. As a native Indo, I highly recommend this place. Service was good. “I have been to other Luke’s lobster location, this one is paritcularly spacious and food quality is consistent. I got the warm lobster roll, spicy honey lobster roll, and lobster mac.Most of the rolls are cold, so it is nice to try the warm lobster roll and have to order one of my favorites – spicy honey lobster roll as well. Lobster Mac on the other hand is alright, the pasta they used is quite unique but flavor wise is just okay, and not a huge fan of the breadcrumbs on top.“

“I stumbled upon this spot while scouting for locations for a show based in Philly. I love seafood and was drawn as well to the stunning intact 50's diner this seafood market is housed in. It was the end of my scout day but detoured to Hill's none the less. So glad I did. Amazed to learn Hill's has been in this space since the 80's. They had an abundant selection of seafood and the staff behind the counter truly couldn't have been more helpful. I picked up a few things like the smoked trout and the ready to eat jumbo shrimp- did I mention the cocktail sauce? I've got to go back for a jar! Also took a prepared crab cake which just needed to be baked in the oven- pan works too-- and they were kind enough to give me a cooking instructions brochure. They've also got fresh baguettes and rolls. I just prepared the crab cake by baking the roll in the oven while baking the crab cake. I had some chili lime aoli which I topped with their cocktail sauce- with a glass of fine chardonnay-- what's not to love?? I will be back for the sushi grade ahi tuna! Thank you!! This place is the highlight of my Philly adventure! I need to add that I grew up near the Chesapeake Bay and know a good crab cake. This crab cake exceeded my expectations.“
