“My wife and I had a great Friday night out at Rivertown Taps. We ordered the burrata to start and then a burger and the Mediterranean grilled cheese. Had a couple beers from the serve-yourself taps as well. The best part was sitting at the counter and watching the chefs preparing all the food. The menu is small (which I prefer) as everything is made from scratch and made well. It's a all day breakfast place. I had breakfast. I looked at the menu's lunch options. I do not ferment remember anything unique or special, but they had a patty melt. For whatever reason restaurants sell burgers but not patty melts. The server said it's a popular item, and she recommended the 8 oz. over the 4 oz. It was excellent not greasy and came as I ordered it. My drink was water which she constantly refilled. After lunch I asked to go to the bathroom. It was off the back porch which was not visible from the counter. Nice option on a nice day.“

Only criticism would be that the server said he's “try to find some bread” for our table prior to the appetizer. He came out with 4 “Kings Hawaiian Dinner Rolls” that he slapped some butter on top of. My thought was .. really? And you never pre-butter the tops of rolls. Rather you serve warm rolls with butter patties or a dish of butter for the customer to use as they wish. But, again that was just poor judgment and really the only negative thing I can think to mention.“
