“We went to Casa Bella tonight. The atmosphere is wonderful. The service was fabulous. We ordered a tomato caprese appetizer. It was amazing!!! Arugula salad, sole fish with carb meat and shrimps with a creamy, mild lemon sauce. 😋❤️ Strongly recommended! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️, $$$ a little pricey. Worth it!!!”
“This pizza is great!!! GO ORDER SOME LOL its seriously that good ”
“Authentic brick oven pie, you can taste the smokey wood flavor, charred crust. The Scrantonian, Margarita and Bronx Bomber are delicious. If you're looking for this style pie, or even if you're looking for great pizza, go no further and you won't be disappointed.
Parking is a garage a half a block down, but you may luck out with street parking after 5 or 6 at night”

“Great environment! Food and drinks were delicious. And the entire staff is friendly.😊 Great place!”
“16th Ward was one of the few places open late on a Sunday as my wife and I were driving home from a long trip. We received absolutely amazing service, great drinks, and phenomenal food! Every aspect of our time at 16 Ward was top-notch! Having just had two disappointing dinners the past two nights at two highly acclaimed restaurants in the Fingers Lakes, 16th Ward was not a planned stop but was an amazing discovery! We will be back many more times! It was not until I went to write a review (something I rarely ever do), that I realized that our amazing host/server was the owner. He could not have been nicer! Amazing experience and priced well below what many of us often pay for much lower quality food, drinks, and service. Thank you!”

“My third time here & it is consistently great! Came in for their Sunday Dinner, drinks where perfect, apps great, but let’s give the meatballs a moment…maybe the best the area has to offer…and there are some really good ones in town. Perfect size, perfectly soft, really excellent. Had the spaghetti it was spot on, just right. Finished the meal with lovely desserts and house made chocolates the whole meal made me happy :)”
“Extraordinary is an understatement. This establishment is phenomenal in every aspect, from its atmosphere to the family ownership, cuisine, and pricing. I highly recommend Anthony's with absolute certainty, and I appreciate supporting small, family-owned businesses. #LoveMyFamilia”
“I can not thank this Bakery enough for saving my son's birthday dinner. We are traveling and due to an unexpected reschedule, the cake I had ordered was now in a city 2 hours away. I phoned them with 3 HOUR NOTICE, asking to text them as my son was in the vehicle. WITHOUT HESITATION he obliged and had a cake ready for my son in 2.5 HOURS with a semi custom request. The kindness of this bakery is above and beyond and why I only support small businesses. Without their kindness, my son's birthday dinner would have been a disappointment, as all he asked for while on vacation for his birthday was a hamburger and Minecraft cake. I hope all who read this review will share my experience and support them with all of your bakery needs ❤️”

“First time here and the experience was AWESOME! The best mexican tacos I'd had in the east coast, much more for the Scranton area! Delicious food, well seasoned, quality of ingredients, presentation, prices and customer service are second to none! We felt like we were back on the west coast! They got us as permanent customers!!! 💝”
“Been here many times,, had so many different meals. I haven’t been disappointed YET. Mike comes out and Greets his customers. The the atmosphere..”
“Enjoying a pleasant meal out is always a treat, and Stirna's never fails to impress. My husband and I chose it for our anniversary dinner, and from the moment we stepped inside, the wait staff provided top-notch service, making us feel genuinely welcome. The food was delicious, and those legendary Stirna's brownies are always a must for a sweet treat. Much thanks to Cathy and her team.”

“We happened upon this restaurant while we were visiting Scranton for the Italian Festival. We walked in on Sunday afternoon and the bar was open and they allowed us to have a drink and cool off. After speaking with Jennifer about a reservation for later in the evening she put us in touch Benny, the owner. He said they could accommodate our party of eight for a 6pm reservation. Angelica was our primary server but others, including Benny jumped in a gave us a great experience! All of us walked away with one of the best restaurant experiences we ever had. And the crazy thing is with the festival going on right outside their doors and being crazy busy they did an exceptional job making sure we always had a beverage and communicating with us! Was our final night in Scranton and it was by far the best night! Thank you all and definitely recommend this place to anyone!”
“Trax Bar & Kitchen
Impressive service by our bartender, watching her multitask a busy Friday night. Other support staff worked like a well oiled machine, bringing food orders from the back kitchen, taking orders, prepping tables…so service could be executed smoothly.
**** Trax Classic, loaded grilled burger done just as ordered with their thick and crispy house-made chips. Don’t bother counting calories.
***** Station Signature Misto salad was enjoyed by my husband.
Coming from out of town the prices were reasonable. Portions were filling and the indoor atmosphere was cozy with dark woods, a beautiful chandelier and reminders of a by gone era in this historic hotel. There are large screen TVs scattered throughout the dining area for the sports fans to enjoy. History buffs would enjoy seeing old photos showing how this huge train depot was utilized for passengers and cargo.
They can prepare your meal to go, we were staying at the hotel and ordered by a direct call line to their staff and the bill could be charged to your room or paid up front.
I saw a mix of both locals and visitors having a moment to enjoy their meals. Parking is easy, they keep late night hours too. We enjoyed our meals so much, we had it again before we left to travel home.”
“A nice little place that has been in the downtown for close to 20 years. You enter through the bar that is roomy while also having hightop tables. When entering main dining, the first thing we noticed was the piano player, which is a super-cool touch! He played some fun songs, including some of his own, cracked jokes, and also interacted with the crowd while not being intrusive at all. My wife and I each got a martini (Dirty Gin for her and Honey Nut Cheerio for me) and both were delicious. As an appetizer, we got Eggplant Melanzane, which was light, had great flavor, and a delicious vodka sauce. My better half had a Caesar salad with probably the best Caesar dressing we have ever had. I went with the gorgonzola salad that had a nice, tart raspberry vinaigrette. For our entrees, she had the chicken special, which featured thin chicken breast and portobello mushrooms in a port wine sauce, topped with gorgonzola. It was very earthy and deep, a worthy special. I had the Pollo Sambuca, which is the same thin chicken breast with shrimp and mushrooms in a creamy sambuca sauce. It was very flavorful and slightly sweet. The anise is there, but not distracting. This was a solid meal! Our server, Thellenza, was attentive and informative. She made sure we understood all of the specials and took care of anything we asked. The rest of the staff is also helpful, too, and we were never in need of anything for long at all. The adult beverages that we enjoyed were definitely tasty, we just wish they had more of a wine and beer selection. Food: 9 Service: 10 Atmosphere: 10 Adult Drink Selection: 8 Overall: 9.25”
“Food is delicious and attendants are always gracious. Takes me back to NYC late night restaurants in Queens. Definitely recommended. I gave 4 more for decore then general atmosphere, they could make it feel more home than cafeteria. But overall a must try. I highly recommend.”
“Beautiful restaurant within the Radisson Lackawanna hotel. Reservations are suggested although we were the only 2 people eating from 6pm-7pm on a Saturday evening. I believe it was because the hotel was hosting a large party and most of the guests were probably there. The evening prior, the restaurant was full. We were served quickly and our drinks were brought along with warm bread and butter. We ordered pasta and crab cakes and our meals came out quickly. Everything was so hot, fresh and tasty. My scallops were tender and my cousin enjoyed the lump crab meat in her crab cakes and vegetables. Dessert was a delectable warm creme brulee. Prices were fair. We would definitely recommend dining here.”
“We’ve been here several times, always happy with our meals but had a particularly great server experience tonite. Megan H was wonderful! She is so kind and pleasant. She is very attentive and picked up on my daughter not enjoying her lemonade(too sweet & sour) and offered to bring another drink right over. Checked on us several times and when we were too full for dessert (but my son not too full for more biscuits) offered to wrap some for him to take home. She made his night!!”
“We live just outside of Scranton, but hadn’t been in for a date night yet. My husband and I visited for dinner this weekend to celebrate my birthday, and while I knew the experience and presentation would be wonderful, I’d like to share how fantastic the food was, as well. Whoever builds the menu is truly special. We enjoyed drinks, appetizers, main dishes, as well as dessert. Every dish was curated with care, and absolutely delicious. We will certainly be back again! Our service was excellent, and the host was incredibly personable. Thanks for the great experience!”
“The new owners did a great job keeping all the antique aspects while sprucing the place up! Menu is perfect for a quick lunch or dinner. The quality of ingredients really shows through. Well conceptualized recipes and expert preparation. The Fries! The Weiner Sauce! The specials! Also, bar staff are attentive and personable. Very good service!”

“We stopped on our way home from Cooperstown, this experience was amazing. I only remember yezzys name but the guy that waited on us was so friendly the whole staff had great attitudes and genuine hospitality and happiness. Couldn’t have asked for a better brunch to feed our 6. Grill guy and (dawn) (maybe) was on point with correct doneness and freshness!!! If we ever come back through, we’ll certainly stop again.”
“We recently hosted a funeral luncheon at Bukatini. The food was delicious and the service was Phenomenal! I highly recommend!!”
“The food was amazing! Staff was very nice and attentive. We will definitely be going back soon!”
“We absolutely love Sidel’s! The hospitality at this establishment plus the food & beverages offered are top notch. Thank you to each and every person at Sidel’s who made our dining experience so enjoyable. We made a reservation for 11 guests including two small children to celebrate a special birthday over the weekend and there are no words to describe how truly amazing everything was. Each person went above and beyond the entire time without hesitation. From providing a cake for the birthday girl at the last minute, welcoming all of us like we were family, & bringing toys out for my children who started to get a bit restless, my family and I cannot thank you all enough. We can’t wait to return again very soon! ♥️”

“I get to experience a different side of Pizza Plus. I get to see the love, energy, and dedication that is poured into this business. The commitment and care it takes to have a good family owned business through generations is just such a beautiful thing to be a part of. I’m blessed to have Pizza Plus. To work for Pizza Plus and To eat @PizzaPlus ! 😋🤤 🍕🧀🥩🍔🥗🌭🥤🙋🏻♀️🙏🏻🤍”
“We heard about this place on NEPA Pizza Review and since we happen to be in Scranton today we stopped there to eat lunch. It's such a nice, clean place with friendly staff. We had the large pizza with sausage and it was absolutely delicious!! We'll definitely go back!!!”

“If you are near Abe's Deli you really should stop in. We were greeted by a number of very friendly staff. From the moment you walked in, you knew you're in a very popular spot. A number of people came in and where greeted by name. And the pastrami reuben and oatmeal raisin were excellent.”
“Food was really good, bartender was great and place is the perfect size with a good atmosphere. Only downfall and it is a major one is people smoke inside the place which ruined it all. When my friends and I ordered bo one was there, we started eating then people came in and started smoking. Our food started tasting like an ash tray and our close stunk. I could not wait to get home and throw my clothes in the wash and take a shower. Food was great but my friends, I will not be going back and I can not reccomend this place simply because of the smoking. This place would have twice the business if there was no smoking.”
“This is the worst cheese steak I've ever had! The meat was very cold and the vegetables on the sandwich were not fresh at all. The atmosphere and service was great though.”

“Stopped by this diner and had a grilled cheese with tomato—pretty decent. The French toast, though, was excellent: very fresh and surprisingly light, not heavy like most diner breakfasts. Coffee was good too, just what you’d expect from a classic diner. Overall, good food and an easy experience. Just a heads-up: it’s cash-only, but they do have an ATM inside if you need it.”
“Hello, What a marvelous treat & surprise! Stopped in June 2, gnocchi special, marvelous! But the real treat was the most cordial, professional, amazing, friendly, & the list can continue❤️❤️👍 We met “Frankie” by far Northeastern Pennsylvania’s best of the best, Bartender! We are visiting from Flordia and we were welcomed by Frankie. Food great! Service above & beyond! I would encourage everyone to stop in great specials & Frankie is just warm & welcoming!😊😊😊😊👍👍👍👍 Sorry, I forgot to take pictures! We will return, highly recommend.”
“This was the best meal we have had in a long while. I ordered the custom poke bowl with tuna and a sparkling hibiscus boba. My fiancé ordered general tsos rice bowl and stawberry lemonade boba. The flavors were incredible. Service was surprisingly quick and friendly. We are definitely going again.”
“Waldo’s has become my all-time favorite place to get wings! Both boneless and bone in, the flavor selection and taste is superb! I get the xtra mild sauce which doesn’t irritate my heartburn. The crisp is perfect. Waldo’s gives HUGE portions to the point where myself and my partner have to share a meal & we still have leftovers! You get an amazing value for what you’re paying, which is a very affordable price to begin with. The staff is always friendly and attentive, even when the place is packed. The patio is really nice to sit at. They have bands and live music from time to time as well. I can’t recommend Waldo’s enough!”
“Enjoying a pleasant meal out is always a treat, and Stirna's never fails to impress. My husband and I chose it for our anniversary dinner, and from the moment we stepped inside, the wait staff provided top-notch service, making us feel genuinely welcome. “Sunday afternoon brunch with my daughter, the turkey club was wonderful and the $4. mimosas wow! Very nice bartenders & waitstaff...”

“Please make it a point to find and visit this nostalgic local coffee shop! It always has a fun vibe and it’s great to meet local folks and patronize our independent businesses. The BlackWatch cafe is adorable, cozy, so unique. The selection is so innovative so it has a lot more to offer than just coffee. They definitely have a foam art and they do not disappoint here. They have smoothie that people rave about as well! But can we talk about the building itself? The roaring fireplace at the entry is perfect for a winter’s day or Autumn night! It's loaded with history and decorated with classic literary and fan pieces, interesting conversation pieces, and fun works of art. Not to mention what Pat is doing with the outside patio…. it’s such an asset to Scranton and the sad thing is, no one knows it’s there! do yourself a favor, pass out DD and ⭐️ bucks for the BlackWatch Cafe Nay Aug Park in Scranton,PA!”
“Came twice over the last two weeks. The first time I came I ordered the drunken noodles and the vegetable spring rolls. I also shared a salad with my friend. I can't remember the name of the salad but it has some fruit in it . Everything was delicious. I came back again because I wanted to try the curry I ordered the green curry and my SO had the ma suman curry level 3 spicy. Both were excellent! Intend to make this a regular spot. The chef definitely takes pride in their work.”
“Back to the Beginning at Nicholas' Pizza. Thank you for taking care of my mom and me today. As I sat there, I thought about how we've been coming here for as long as I've been alive — and what feels like my mom’s whole lifetime. There's no other place that would support her, or us, the way you do. You always seem to lift her up — literally and figuratively. I truly appreciate all of you. Paul & Donna, you are the best.”
“This place is absolutely incredible I never go out to bars but I love wings and a good friend of mine told me to try it and my God it did not disappoint I ordered Mild with medium to try because when it comes to spicey I am not able to handle much heat but the Mild was just the right amount the crispy crunch of the wing also soft and chewy I don't know how they do it but it is just perfect they are also the biggest wings I have ever seen and eaten I bought an order of the mild and an order of the garlic and they were both incredible. After enjoying that, I also looked on the menu and seen, they had minnie potato pancakes and that is also another one of my favorite things, so I ordered that and some seasoned fries just to try everything. And it was just absolutely incredible The people in there especially the bartender named Matt he was so quick and friendly and welcoming the atmosphere was just so warm. Everybody was so nice and welcoming and I just don't know what else to say. If you're looking for a nice little place to go and have some incredible food and have a few drinks and a good time. I would highly recommend trying out this place. You won't be sorry. I also seen a bunch of people ordering pizzas and they were absolutely loaded with food I myself haven't had the pizza yet but will be back for more incredible wings and pancakes and will definitely be trying the pizza”
“I hosted my 20th class reunion there this past Saturday and the space was perfect! They provided large round tables and chairs as well as long ones. The area was clean upon arrival and accommodated whatever we asked for. We had ~70 guests with more than enough standing room. We also had a live DJ and a photographer. I brought in cocktail table which helped bring out my vision more as I wanted limited sitting to ensure people socialized. Bartenders were super friendly and provided great customer service to my guests. 20/10 would I recommend and definitely an awesome place to host a party!”
“sheri is an amazing bartender! she is so attentive and makes sure the customer is taken care of! she is so kind and makes conversation with you even if she’s busy! def recommended this place!”
“Food is excellent ! People in our party had porketta, fries, onionrings, pulled pork , meatball sandwich, pizza, mac n cheese and assorted drinks...Bar drinks were on point very good...Food was amazing....Staff and chef very nice he even came out and said hi to the baby! “I never leave reviews, but I was so impressed by my experience here on Saturday that I just feel like I really have to. My girlfriends and I met here for a girls night over the weekend and every single one of the four of us had nothing but great things to say about the whole evening. The service vibes were IMMACULATE; from the hostess, to the server, to the bartender, everyone added a positive energy to the restaurant. The food and drinks.. MY GAWD. We ordered quite a bit of food for the four of us to share, and there was not one single thing that we didn’t love; seriously, we talked about how good the food was for hours to everyone any anyone who would listen. Its two days later and I’m still talking about it and telling my husband that we need to make a reservation for our next date night. Seriously, one of the best restaurant experiences I have ever had.”

“Last night I picked up a tray of pepperoni pizza at Maronis. I wish I took a picture of it. It was perfect. Better than a 10!!! And the picture would never outdo the taste. One of the best I ever had and we've been getting our pizza here for almost 5 decades. Hands down, over and over, consistently the best!!”

The service is quick, and the prices are reasonable. We are quickly becoming regulars here. As they say " Try it, you'll like it!", and I say " You'll love it!"”

“We visited Scranton for event and of course had to hit some office location as highlight of the weekend and this was one the ones on our list. We got seated right away. Very upscale looking Italian place with soccer on the TV. Can go wrong with that. We sat down tried there Sicilian pizza did six slices and some fries it was well done and had a good taste to it. I see other comments saying the pizza was greasy but ours wasn't.
The staff was mid-level attentive and took care of most of our needs. The decor was a bit dark inside and was just step up from regular Italian place. It was good food and comfortable. We got in and out pretty quickly to move on to our hotel. All together not bad at all if your in the area check it out yourself and see what you think.”

“We just had our son’s 1st birthday at the Post and it was great! The space was perfect for what we needed and the staff was friendly and very helpful. Emily was amazing with my questions and helping me get everything booked and planned. She was available for us when needed, and not pushy by any means. She was even flexible when we had a last minute reschedule due to illness right before the holiday! Thank you Emily & staff!”
“I've been here a handful of times, and the food is always excellent. The dishes are full of flavor, and the ingredients are fresh. The staff are always really nice...many of them do not speak a lot of English, you just have to get creative with communication sometimes. They clearly know their stuff when it comes to the food. The atmosphere is great-the decor is really colorful and the restaurant is simple and clean. One of our favorite spots for going out to eat.”
“My third time here & it is consistently great! Came in for their Sunday Dinner, drinks where perfect, apps great, but let’s give the meatballs a moment…maybe the best the area has to offer…and there are some really good ones in town.
