“Wonderful place to grab takeout food! Our food was ready in 10 minutes, and it was delicious! I got the crab fries and my husband got the blackened chicken with penne pasta. I was stealing his food and he was stealing mine. 10 out of 10, will definitely be back soon!“

“Fridays at work, the office orders lunch, and we are always looking for new eats. Well today, Chef Von & Mom popped up on our app, and we loved the sound of the menu. The food arrived, and it was EXACTLY like it's pictured on all the sites! The portions were perfect at an extremely reasonable price (better quality and taste than fast food joints, but easier on my wallet)!! We all agree here, we are DEFINITELY going to be visiting/ordering again with family and friends outside of work. The whole office votes 5 Stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐“

Great wait staff. I always bring my friends for breakfast Saturday and it never disappoints! Coffee is great and free flowing. They get busy right about 10:00AM but the waitresses keep up quite efficiently. Love the veggie omelette!“

“One of the best burgers I’ve ever had in my life. The meat and cheese they used, whatever they did, they do it extremely well. Our waitress was super nice and it’s a cute little place. What people call the “dated” places are so often some the best food places in the area. It’s a hidden treasure in Scranton.“

“I’ve been going to Ipanema Grille since they opened. I get excited every time I go. The food is always delicious and the staff is excellent. Douglas makes you feel like family and treats you as if you are. The renovation only amplifies how amazing this place is. I highly recommend the sangria to go along with your rodizio or “meat parade” as I like to call it. You will walk away satisfied and dreaming of your next visit.“

“I can't remember the name of the young woman but a brilliant young woman at the end of the bill added a heart. I looked at it as a kind person attentive to the customer. It's a place where I return to eat!!!!! We were three people and all three of us left with the same expectations!

“The service was excellent—our waitress Danny was friendly and attentivel. The burrata was hands down the best we’ve had—creamy, fresh, and crunchy pistachios on top. We also tried the chicken parmesan and the pork chop. The pork chop had a nice crunch on the outside, though we felt it could use a bit more seasoning inside. The Albariño white wine was a perfect pairing, it is not easy to find Spanish wine around.“

“Keep in mind their specialty hot dog (Texas Weiner) sandwich is pretty small. It's a hotdog sliced and placed on the bun. Very tasty. I ate two and that was filling. Onion rings are good with a large portion. Great decorated dining room. Service was prompt.“

“I just moved to the Scranton/Dunmore area from New York City. I was looking for a local place to “hang my hat”. After trying several local establishments, someone told me I should try Crotti’s on Ash. I met Sheila, the owner, who is fantastic about managing, serving and booking the bands for the place.
I walked in on a Monday night and saw Clarence Spady playing a rendition of “Hey Joe” that floored me. If you don’t know who Clarence is- Google him. I’ve been coming back ever since. Every band or person that plays here is extremely impressive and high quality. Coming from NYC, it’s difficult to impress me but everything about this place is awesome. The people here are warm, good-hearted souls that make everyone feel welcome- Even a displaced person from New York City!“

“I called ahead to inquire about if the food was spicy as I tried the halal spot up the street from them and couldn’t get beyond a fork full because it was WAAYYY too spicy. Figured I’d give these guys a try and THANK God I did!!! Not only was there a huge amount of food but the little kick of spice was not over baring and left space for plenty of favor. I asked for extra white sauce and they delivered on that as well. They were nice accommodating and the food was good. This was my first time goin there so I did call and let them know the food was great and you could tell the guy needed to hear that you could hear him smile through the phone I’m not sure why this place isn’t way busier but trust me it’s worth it! As a New Yorker I think this is the closest you’ll get to NY truck stand halal. I APPROVE!!!“

“The food took over 2 hours to come out. The waitress seemed clueless. Not very attentive or showed any concern. The best part was they brought out 2 meals for our table and then came back and said they delivered it to the wrong table! One of the two Mac and cheese bowls was being eaten at that time. They took the "untouched" mac and cheese back to the kitchen. Waitress came back out within 2 minutes and served it to the correct table 🤯 Also there was a hair in my French fries. The ambiance is cool. I don't think the food was out of this world. I would never go here again, sadly.“

“I've been to this location several times, and the service is exceptional no matter who waits on you. They're all great at what they do. The food is always great, and prepared perfectly. It was good to stop at an old favorite today, and pleasantly surprised they not only have a gluten free option now, but it also did not make me ill 2 pieces in from cross contamination like a lot of pizza places. I'd post pictures, but we were too busy eating and forgot to get any.“

“As per the usual wait staff was undermanned. Only like 6 tables filled when went there. But yet took about 4 minutes to be seated. And at least 5 minutes to even be seen to order drinks. Waitress was great but unfortunately to be undermanned rarely got service. Just good ol greedy owners trying to get by with the fewest employees to have the most money in their pocket. Customers be damned. Hadn't been to a BWW in a very long time and was really looking forward to it. But that place just turned me off.“
