“Food was good. Friendly hole in the wall Latin restaurant. Typical Central American,Mexican,and Puerto Rican food. Sit down tables and a bar area. Upstairs club was closed due to COVID. But the food was surprisingly good for a small humble place in Upper Darby.“

“We usually come here on date nights for drinks, but decided to dine here before we moved out of the city. We are continuously impressed with the inventive nature of those working here. Both food and drink menus are rotating, some items new from season to season, while other staple items are reimagined with nuances to keep people’s palettes on their toes. I don’t think we’ve ordered something here that we haven’t thoroughly enjoyed. Tom is the mixologist bartender who is always pushing boundaries with his house cocktails. He has told us before that he tries to create a drink for each flavor profile. There seems to be a unique selection for everyone, and just like the chefs with their dishes, Tom is unapologetic in his choice of ingredients. There seems to be a lot of passion and pride in what is made here. Kiddo has a relaxed atmosphere, and the bar is our go-to spot. I cannot recommend this place enough, it is one-of-a-kind.“

“Intimate, moody venue with very elaborate cocktails that feature several ‘washed’ ingredients (e.g. gochujang washed xyz). It’s pretty cool, I guess. I would recommend stopping for 1 or 2 but I wouldn’t make it my whole night because it’s an awkward layout. The music was good, but something doesn’t quite gel together for me, albeit a beautiful space. We were downstairs (walk-in) - didn’t see upstairs (reserved tables), to be fair.“

“This was my second visit to Ripplewood Whiskey & Craft, and my first time experiencing their happy hour—and it did not disappoint. The menu had a great variety, and I enjoyed both the drinks and the pork bao buns.

A standout “happy accident” was ordering the pretzel rolls with truffle butter… absolutely amazing. That alone is worth coming back for.

The bartenders were attentive and provided great service throughout our visit. We also tried the deviled eggs, which were just okay for me—the mustard base was a bit too strong for my taste.

Overall, Ripplewood is a lovely spot with a relaxed vibe and nice outdoor seating in the back. It’s a great place for drinks, small bites, and a chill evening out.“

“The food was both delicious and inventive, especially the scallop dish and the hamachi collar. Some dishes are quite small for the price, but the wonderful gem salad was quite large for two. Our server was wonderful; their recommendations were very helpful, and the pace of the meal was perfect for us. Overall, we were well taken care of, never felt rushed, and loved every dish we ordered. The restaurant is expensive, and the lively setting verges on noisy, but we would definitely go back for a special occasion.“

“I came here for the second time with my younger sister on a random weekday night. The server / bartender was super welcoming and so thoughtful! She was always consistently checking in with us. My sister and I got mocktails which were pretty good, not too tart, not too sweet. We both got smash burgers which were decent. It wasn't too greasy or messy, which is appreciated. Will return again to try out some other items!“

“This is a fantastic place for a work event! Excellent value and everyone had a great time! Don't worry about if everyone will play darts - they will and it is lots of fun. Flight Club can provide the photos and videos that were taken during the event to share with others, which is a great addition to make the fun last. The only issue was slow service at the beginning, but they were hit with several huge parties at once and recovered.“

“Been coming here for two years since we moved to the area. They staff are amazing. The coffe and drinks are quality and tasty. They always have new and interesting additions to the menu. Cool atmosphere. Gets crowded, but that because all the cool kids hang out here! So glad to have them in the neighborhood.“

We went with the tasting menu instead of a la carte and found the dishes good, but not anything particularly special. They were very accommodating with an allergy which was very nice. “I am a regular at Spin Philadelphia. I usually go and have a very good time. I enjoy the food, drinks, and the atmosphere. I recently had a situation where someone asked security to deal with me. I was upset and started acting up because I was being wrongfully accused. Even though my night was going bad, I felt better because of the way I was treated by some staff. The security guy with the bandana and the front desk ping pong player were very nice to me. They heard me out, showed me respect, and were very understanding of the situation. They assured me that I was welcomed back anytime. I really appreciated that. Thank you.“

The place is so cozy and comfortable. The staff is absolutely accommodating attentive, friendly and fast.

I don't drink alcohol, but my husband does. He loved his drink and I had an amazing mocktail. Sadly, I have no idea what my husband got. All I remember is that it had a stick that was smoking 😂. I got something with berries which was absolutely delicious.“

“This is such a cute little bar with great drinks and food. They have like 15 different kinds of espresso martinis and great deals for happy hour, trivia, and karaoke nights! Normally nice and quiet on week nights and definitely a vibe on the weekends!“

“Took my husband here to celebrate his birthday. I started off with the fried green tomato tower, all the different flavors was like a party in my mouth. Next I had the lemon, dill salmon, I'm not a huge fan of asparagus but that was nicely cooked and tasted good. A nice size homade biscuit and jam. My husband had the smoked mac n cheese, the catfish po boy and spinach. The spinach was nicely seasoned and tasted so fresh. This was our first time here and we will definitely be going back.“
