Don't buy the hamburger again, ever since they switched to frozen patties they have been questionable and almost Russian roulette with your results. A real shame because we live 5-10 minutes away and always a better restaurant than other price wise“

“One of the best meals we had in Montreal, and we particularly enjoyed the Bluefin Tartare, Maitake, and Kohlrabi. The sauce used for the Kohlrabi had a nice spicy punch which was really nice. The Grassfed Angus Beef was juicy and tender too!

“Tucked away at the back of a church this restaurant is truly a hidden gem. We sat at the chefs table and were able to see all the food being prepared and ask the chefs more details about the food. We had the wine pairing menu which was excellent. Our server was very accommodating as one of the wines was not to our taste and they quickly replaced it with an excellent choice. The flavours in each course were delicious and made want to savour every bite. We will definitely be returning to Restaurant Candide again.“

“A solid five stars! ⭐️ The ham was sliced so thin it melted in the mouth (made us wanting to buy a cutting machine). The Shishito peppers (a daily special) were perfectly grilled to perfection. “Went here last night with my wife, and 10 year old daughter. Great location, wonderful and friendly staff. We had raw oysters, lobster fettuccine, risotto, bone marrow, a couple drinks and dessert. Was great food, and experience. We would definitely return next time we are in town.“

I don't know what happened with my second coke, it errupted like the Etna when I put my straw in it, sorry for the little mess and grazie for the quick cleaning, even though I'd have liked cleaning it myself.

Speaking of Sicily, it seemed like you have a family business, or it gives that vibe. Not sure if you're Sicilian too or from elsewhere in the Mediterranea, but all the employees and/or family members there made me feel like I was eating with neighbours in Messina or Santa Lucia (or elsewhere in the South, for that matter, love Campania or Calabria and those funny Pugliese too).
