“Very disappointed. My husband says try again on a weekend day. Went Monday 4pm. Food was terrible. Fish was completely dried out. Shrimp cocktail was slimy and sour. Good service. Lovely view. However won't be back“

“We enjoyed having breakfast at this wonderful place while in Newport, RI. The people who own it and those who work there are AMAZING, friendly, and take the time to talk to customers while keeping service at the top of their list. They (from the kitchen to the front door) look like they love working there and have created a loving family environment. Of course, the line was out the door and down the street, but that was okay because everyone enjoyed visiting each other. There is just one warning, the portions are enormous. You know when my husband can't finish it, it's a lot. 🤣“

The food here is absolutely top notch. The tuna crudo and the brussels were also wonderful, and the basque cheesecake was super yummy.

Five stars for the staff who is always so gracious and lovely, minus the one time I was taken aback by the disrespect and unprofessionalism of one of the members. I hope that due to the poor choice of this staff member, that the members’misbehavior doesn’t reflect upon the teams’ sweet and wholesome image.“

“Today we made a pilgrimage to Basil Yu’s restaurant, Yagi Noodles. My son happened to see that Basil had become a successful restaurateur while he was watching one of Guy Fieri’s shows. We had become acquainted with Basil when we were all involved with a Boy Scout Troop in Manchester NH. We were disappointed to discover that Basil wasn’t at the restaurant, however we got over it when we found out it was due to a commitment to a fundraiser for the James Beard Foundation. Basil, You weren’t there, but your food is delicious. You get the Merit Badge! You weren’t there, but your staff is spectacular! You get the Merit Badge! We wish you continued success! “Nice place. Theirs job is really coffee i belived :) You can see them roasting and packaging there. Prices are fair. It has a great coffee smell. There are tables inside and outside if you want to hang out. You can buy their own products and packaged coffees. I bought a latte, the coffee was really fresh. I think it has a few awards too. An enjoyable stop on the road :))“

Flavors are on point, and the menu is varied enough to appeal to vegetarians and not. In addition to excellent food, they serve beer and sake to go with your meal. This is a restaurant that you should visit.“

“We were vacationing in Newport from Wisconsin and stopped in at Cappy’s. Sue the bartender was friendly and a wonderful bartender. The owner Joe, what can I say….what a guy! Joe saw us walking to our Airbnb and yelled at us on the street asking when we were headed back home. Joe is a gem of a bartender. He has a gift of gab and can hand out the bs too. Nice local establishment with friendly customers and bartenders. We had Dan as a bartender too and he was a friendly, great guy! I have eaten at Thai restaurants all over the United States including some of my favorites in NYC, Houston, San Jose, Boston, and TONG TA is among the best I’ve had and it’s local!. The Beef and basil sauce (Gra Pao) was fantastic, the beef was tender and flavorful, the veggies were perfectly cooked and the sauce was perfectly seasoned. The chicken satay was excellent as well. The service was fast and friendly and I’d recommend this place to anyone.“

“7.26.25 The beer and the venue are a 5, but the burgers & wings were just not good at all. They serve more than just beer if beer isn't your thing. This place is just amazing. Huge outdoor and indoor seating. The outdoors also has lawn seating with Adirondack chairs besides the 2 level patio/decks. Everything is new and modern, and the landscaping is immaculate. Huge parking lot, too.“
