“What a find! I found this a bit off the beaten path. But SOOO worth it! The 'Everything' sauce 9n the Fish and Chips was amazing! Almost seemed like they were using the pickled banana peppers as the base. Tie that with cilantro and a few other items and you have a real winner here.The sauce on the Shrimp had a similar flare to it, but tomato based (or just mixed in).So think about this a minute. You have a sauce with some pickle flavor. You add salt to your liking (I added a lot) and you have a very interesting flavor for the fries! Genius!The Chicken Dinner was an outside the box way for me to go surf and turf. The seasoning had explosive flavor. Just wonderful!I can't wait to go back for the Salmon!“

“So it was Fathers Day and of course my fiancé wanted to go golfing and he chose Harbor Lights golf course. We’re from Connecticut but on the border of Rhode Island but still don’t go there as much. After he was done he said he would love if we went to dinner for Father’s Day with our daughter and my mom. I searched for places in the area of the golf course, was looking for something sort of near the water and that’s when I found Iggy’s ! Had great reviews so I called and booked a reservation! We were running a little late but called to let them know and said that it was fine. When we arrived, the place was PACKED! Which is definitely a great sign. Every staff member we encountered were so nice and helpful! Our server Zach was amazing and so accommodating! He was knowledgeable and was just so friendly! My mom is a super critic ( she always has something to say about something which sometimes gets embarrassing ) haha but she could not say enough how good the food was and service and atmosphere! She absolutely loved it and we had the best time! My 13 month old had her first milkshake and LOVED it! Hahah Thank you for the great experience! We’ll definitely be back when we’re in Rhode Island! :)“

It’s authentic Guatemalan food and I love it.The inside looks a bit janky, but they just opened up. However they really outdid themselves with, what I would call, the new “it” dinner option- the birrio burger. Every bite has flavor & every bite melts in your mouth. I hope this becomes a weekly special due to its uniqueness. My “pear-suasion” drink complimented it perfectly. As always the staff there is top notch. “We went to celebrate my wife's birthday, and honestly, it couldn't have been more perfect.
First off, let me tell you about Jeff, our server. This guy is a rockstar, plain and simple. Not only was he super sharp on all the food and wine, but he was also just incredibly attentive and genuinely friendly. We had our 3-year-old son with us, and Jeff handled it all like a pro – making sure our little guy was happy and comfortable, which meant we could actually relax and enjoy the special occasion. He really went above and beyond to make the night special for all of us.
Then there's Danielle, the dining room manager. Seriously, she's incredible. You could just tell she was running the show flawlessly, making sure everyone was having a fantastic time. She even stopped by our table to chat and wish my wife a happy birthday, and you could feel how much she genuinely cares about her guests. It's clear she sets the tone for the whole place, and it just radiates excellence.
And the food? Oh my goodness. Every single dish was spot on. The steaks were cooked perfectly, the sides were delicious, and the birthday dessert was the ideal sweet ending. The whole atmosphere felt elegant but still totally comfortable, which was great for a family celebration.
If you're looking for an unforgettable meal in Providence, especially for a special event, you absolutely have to go to The Capital Grille. Definitely ask for Jeff to be your server, and you'll see firsthand the amazing job Danielle does running the show. We left feeling completely pampered and can't wait to go back! From the moment we walked in, the warm ambiance and attentive service set the stage for a memorable evening. It was a very special birthday for me from when we arrived till we left 3 hours later and was absolutely my favorite dining experience ever! The highlight, of course, was the steak—perfectly cooked to order, with a beautiful sear on the outside and melt-in-your-mouth tenderness inside and so much flavor. The selection of cuts was impressive, and the quality of the meat was top-tier.
