“I held a rehearsal dinner at Maria’s and I cannot say enough how great it was to plan with the help of Chris Spertini. He made the whole evening a success by guiding me with food choices and seating arrangement. Our server was excellent. She was extremely attentive to our guests. This will be my go-to restaurant. If you have not dined at Maria’s you are missing out.“

“The part of me that wants everyone to feel what it's like eat at your nonna's house where they think you are the greatest thing that ever happened, triumphed over the part of me that wants to keep this place a secret so there isn't a line out the door every day. Giovanna clearly knew what she thought each of us should eat but tried hard to not let it show "but, eat what you want...." She was excited in the way only a Napolitana can be when we chose her recommendations, osso bucco for Mike and lobster raviolo for me. It was amazing food wrapped in a childhood memory.“

“Outstanding meal! There were 7 of us for a family gathering (we met in the middle for CT + MA family) and everything about our dinner was exceptional! The food, the wine, the calamari + dip, the bread, the olive oil + balsamic dip were all delicious, but the lobster ravioli and caramel gelato were to die for. Omg! Our server was perfect too. “Last night, May 5th, my fiancé and I celebrated our engagement at The Capital Grille in Providence, and I truly cannot put into words how special the entire staff made us feel.
We had no reservations and decided to walk in after my proposal because the restaurant was across from our hotel. From the second we walked in, the experience was absolutely exceptional.
Our hostess, Jada, was incredibly sweet and welcoming. When she asked if we were celebrating anything special and I shared that we had just gotten engaged moments before, she immediately made us feel celebrated and cared for. When she brought us to our table, it was beautifully decorated with heart confetti and a handwritten congratulatory note. Such a thoughtful touch that instantly made the night even more magical.
Our server, Alex, was AMAZING. Truly one of the best servers we have ever had. He was attentive, kind, professional, outgoing, and made our entire experience feel warm and personal. Every recommendation was wonderful, the service was flawless, and he genuinely made our night feel extra special.
Then the manager, Danielle, came to our table to personally congratulate us. She had such a beautiful energy and made us feel so welcomed and appreciated. She told us if we needed absolutely anything, to let her know. That small moment meant so much to us because she genuinely did not have to go out of her way to make us feel celebrated, but she did, and it made a lasting impression.
The food and drinks were phenomenal from beginning to end. Everything was delicious. But what truly touched us was how the night kept getting sweeter. At the end of dinner, we were surprised with a complimentary dessert that said “Congratulations” and it was incredible. Even as people who normally don’t like cheesecake, we both loved it. And just when we thought the surprises were over, Alex came back with a bottle of champagne and two glasses as a gift to celebrate our engagement.
The level of hospitality, kindness, and genuine care we experienced at The Capital Grille was beyond anything we expected. They turned an already unforgettable night into an even more beautiful memory we will cherish forever.
Thank you so much to Jada, Alex, and Danielle for making us feel so special. We will absolutely be back. Five stars isn’t enough.“
“Was in town for a weekend on leisure and loved everything about this place. Ambience, music, the pear and honey margarita was a highlight. Special shoutout to Bianca, who handled the Saturday rush seamlessly and has an infectious personality. You could tell she brings the best out of her clientele and colleagues.“

“I’ve been here a few times for both food & drinks. Interior is so so charming, I feel like I’m transported to a charming cafe/bar in Europe when I step inside. The food is great, I’ve tried a couple of sandwiches on their menu as well as the focaccia. Only issue is that I’ve had more unpleasant experiences with the staff than pleasant experiences. They’re generally very unfriendly (I might even go as far as to describe them as cold!) and slow. They either need to take customer service training, or remove the option to tip at the counter. Maybe this is my problem in that I need to be more comfortable with not tipping when the service is bad.
Despite the bad service, I really really want Sawyer’s to succeed. Providence lacks casual cafes / lunch spots, and Sawyer’s helps to fill that gap. Just maybe stay away if being treated like an inconvenience by staff is a deal breaker for you.“

“We visited Honey Bird back in June. The chicken was outstanding so moist and flavorful. The drinks also did not disappoint, the ingredients blend together so well and zero hang over headache. My 6 year had yummy Mac & cheese with fries.“

“My best friend and I went to this restaurant fully expecting to get either blown away or really disappointed. I'm glad to report that we were BLOWN AWAY. There were so many options of paella that I was grinning from ear to ear. Plus! There were different sizes so my friend and I could get two different types!! It was delicious! However, the experience was made better by the staff. The waitress was wonderful and the owner even came out to great us and we were impressed by his friendly personality and professional ambitions. It was a five star experience!“

“Last night at Flemings... I've had one of the best steaks I've had in years.....I'm a former chef and as a chef I look for all aspects in a restaurant...My wife recommended Fleming's due to the fact that she went there in Florida...we had the most attentive waitress by the name of Jocelyn. I'll never forget her. plus the rest of the staff will also so attentive. I really appreciate that you rarely find that in restaurants nowadays...I will be back....FIVE STARS IN MY OPINION“

“First time as was in town from Newport to see Little Jagged Pill at PPAC. Bartender (Tim?) was excellent friendly, knowledgeable on menu and made great handcrafted drinks. Manager (she moved here from NYC) was also excellent. I ordered the pork loin special, one of my friends ordered to porchetta over grits (I was a bit jealous as it was amazing. Overall a great experience.“

“all I can say is WOW! Im not easily impressed by any restaurant. Main Sail Kitchen blew me away! The mussels were the best I've ever had. I could eat them every day of my life (order extra bread to soak up the delicious sauce) thr shrimp is poached well and is the size of a lobster tail. I ordered a caprese sandwich but I have no idea how ill eat it! Deanna was my server and her recommendations were so on point. what a great addition to Main st eg!“

“We went here for the first time Friday night. Food and drinks were amazing. Wish I could remember our servers name because he was great, made excellent recommendations. We had the frutti di mare with homemade pasta and Bolognase. So good. My pear martini was the best I’ve ever had. Adffogato for dessert. Think this is our new favorite spot. “don't order online ... they take your money, never ships the product, and you never hear from them again. I'm about to call a lawyer if I don't get my $24.00 back. much faster service if you drive to RI from Florida to find a store where you can pick it up from a shelf.“

“There are many excellent and good restaurants in Warwick RI. They all have their own way of distinguishing themselves from one another, which is one of the reasons that helps them keep their customers coming back. What does it for me with Cork and Rye is the service is top notch and their food is also excellent. I have a difficult time figuring out what to order because pretty much everything on their menu seems like something I would want to try out. I really don't think you can make a bad selection because the food is excellent and they put their own unique twist to it so ordering meatloaf at Cork and Rye wont be the same as if you ordered meatloaf at one of the other great restaurants in the area. The service from the staff and bar is also excellent!! I would say make a reservation a day or two before you want to go and don't be afraid to sit and eat at the bar. Also, try one of their appetizers while you are there.“
