Starbucks in Charleston

“I had mostly given up on Starbucks due to a number of factors, but this location is different. The staff are genuine and appear to work as a team. I had a wonderful experience again this morning. I am angry at myself for not getting the name of the gentleman that greeted me this morning, but you are a shining example of servant leadership. Thank you for the Venti bold roast with no room. Hopefully you guys get you internet back up and running.
UPDATE! I very much appreciate the team here but Starbucks cutting jobs is hurting them. I use the app and get an 8 min time estimate and it takes them 15-20 min. It’s not the employee’s fault, but it ends up reflecting poorly on them. Hire more workers and help the team be the best they can. They deserve better.“

“Excellent coffee, atmosphere and the best service in town. During my stay in Charleston I was taking my breakfast early in the morning the “Dario” was the one working at this time. He was always happy, friendly and playing the best playlist. Great place to go! Thanks Dario! Greetings from Brazil mate!“

“The facade is an insult to humanity. Paint peeling like sunburned skin, doors that haven't known pride in years, the whole storefront wearing its neglect the way certain men wear cheap cologne, without apology. You walk past 502 and think: nothing good lives here.

You would be wrong.

Inside, someone has done the work. Reclaimed wood climbs the walls in honest planks. The siren watches from her mural with the calm authority of a woman who knows the room belongs to her. The bar curves like a sentence you didn't expect to end well but does. Light falls clean. The tile is laid true. There is no clutter, no lie in the materials.

It is a good room. And a good room, in a city that often settles for less, is not a small thing.

Fix the outside.“

“I travel for work and go to Starbucks locations all over the country. I was in Charleston for work this week and visited every morning for 4 days. I was incredibly impressed with the staff at this store. While every employee was kind, helpful and served with urgency, I specifically want to call out Mack. He is such a genuine soul and his service was a joy to experience. I would rate this location as one of the top 5 locations I have ever visited. Keep up the incredible work and I hope all the employees working in the morning, the week of April 7-10, are rewarded for how incredibly well they serve the patrons of this Starbucks! Keep up the incredible work!“

“I just want to shout out Mckenzie! She is the most welcoming, uplifting and caring person. She brightens your mornings and knows your name and order. She cares and seems like she wants to make people feel important and seen! In a world full of negativity, we need more people like her. She carries the positive atmosphere at this Starbucks and should be rewarded highly!! To show up everyday with a smile on your face is hard, but she always does. I do come here too often, but when she’s working I always have better service, better food and a better experience. “So I went to the Starbucks INSIDE HARRIS TEETER. I'm not seeing it on the map. I'm more of an independent expresso place person, but was visiting family and wanted an espresso and this was all that I could find. Normally SB is pretty low tier, but the manager was there, and she was amazing. She knew what she was talking about, cared about her pours, and delivered a great product. I never give 5 stars to a SB, and this review goes to that person that cared and was passionate about her product. (Total contrast to other SBs where I've seen customers break down when they say they are out of caramel syrup and staff express empathy).“

“I stopped by here to grab a quick coffee during my commute, and it was exactly what I expected. The service was fast and friendly, and my drink was prepared perfectly. It is a very reliable stop when I need a consistent caffeine fix while I'm out and about.“

“Okay so I love Starbucks. When I was in college I went to Starbucks every single day. It's where most of my money went. This Starbucks did not disappoint. I had not been to Starbucks in a long time. However, I went this past week and I had got one of the peppermint mocha frappes. Oh my God. No one can make a peppermint mochafrappe like they can. They were quick. They were fast. The people there were amazing! Thank you, Starbucks“

“Very frustrating. We ordered 3 coffees and they gave us a drink carrier but it was cut in half so it only held two drinks. So it was impossible to carry. We spilled one of the drinks on our persons. Totally pointless giving a two cup carrier when I have 3 cups.“

“Starbucks in Harris Teeter on Savannah Highway in West Ashley is a great place to stop and get a quick coffee and snack. I like being able to shop for groceries and get a coffee while I am shopping or one for the road to enjoy later. The drinks are always well prepared here and my order has been right every time. I like that there is a nice sitting area here and it is good to have a business meeting because there always seems to be an open seat regardless the time of day. This is a cool Starbucks.“

“Starbucks at Ashley Landing is probably their most convenient location in Charleston. It’s very centrally located with easy access and even has a drive-thru. The building is beautiful inside and out and meticulously clean. It’s by far my most favorite of all of their area locations. Baristas are all friendly and helpful and service is excellent. Definitely 5-stars! Always good fresh coffee and pastries as well. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“

“Arran was the absolute sweetest person to grace my Friday while I was looking around for snacks. The girls who get it GET IT.Gingerbread oatmilk chai looking like a festive little piece of art. AND one of the best tasting drinks I've had at starbucks. I really only stop in when I have a gift card, and sometimes the drinks come out mid. It's hit or miss, but this was a HIT.As far as being in Harris Teeter's, there is not cafe seating nor is there an oven for warm foods. But it's a convenient stop for a caffeine fix while grocery shopping.“

“I like this Starbucks location inside Harris Teeter on Maybank on James Island. It is convenient when you need to get a coffee and groceries at the same time. This is a great place to have a business meeting on this side of town or if you need a place to get some work done. This Starbucks provides excellent service and they work hard to get your order to you.“

“Stopped by this Target to pick up a couple things and the Girl behind the counter, Zaz was sooo helpful and quick with my Refresher, and the Chicken Caprese Salad was pretty good also. Zaz recommended these little Madeleines that were so good and buttery, I’ll have to stop by again when I’m at this Target.“

“Everyone was friendly. Never wait long. I do think they should be open on Saturdays and Sundays as there are a lot of people who have family members in MUSC and it would be great to be able to get something from Starbucks while visiting. There are a lot of us who stay all day with their family members.“
