“First time on Daufuskie and we had a good time. Fun little crab restaurant, basic menu, drinks and live music. The only downside is you have to pay $10 to go onto the island. Also food definitely took awhile, we went on a busy Friday. Felt very hot, sticky and crowded. Drinks were good and we met some fun vacationers. Definitely a dive, I liked it“

“Had a after dinner drink at the bar. Great location right next to the beach lots if seating. There us a walkway to get to the beach if you want a stroll after dinner. Staff was very friendly and a wide variety of food and beverages. Lots if outdoor seating and there was a music playing when we arrived around 7pm“

“9/17/25 was our 2nd trip to Benny's and it did not disappoint either time. Our first trip was last fall when you had just opened & the rooftop was not completed yet. Me, my sister & my niece were delighted with our choices...grouper, seafood cannelloni , Brazilian fish stew...WOW!! But what we were most impressed with was our waiter, Ladrae' Foster, a young 20 year old man. He was lots of fun and very knowledgeable about the menu. We asked LOTS of questions about entrees and he always had the most detailed answer. Excellent service, too! We'll definitely be back!“

“We came to crazy crab and was lucky enough to have Susan as our waitress. Susan is the greatest waitress I’ve had at any restaurant ever. She makes sure we get our food in a reasonable time and we don’t stay thirsty. I would give susan a 100/10 on service and I think she needs a raise.“

“Tonight was our 2nd time eating at Crudo and once again everything was amazing. We started with the crispy octopus which was flavorful and tender. It was recommended to us by the server and another couple we ended up talking to seated next to us, and it was truly a fantastic recommendation. My husband had the Wagyu steak which was better than any local steakhouse in the area and I had the Lobster Roll which was sweet, tender, and juicy. The service was impeccable and Crudo offers a quant, quiet atmosphere. If you haven’t been, you are missing out on the best restaurant Bluffton has to offer.“

“We stopped for a mid afternoon snack and beer and were so grateful we did! Azaria was our exceptional waitress, who was pleasant, sweet, answered questions, and gave recommendations. We had oysters and the crab/shrimp dip in the bread. My husband gets oysters whenever we visit a coastal area (we live on the coast in Delaware) and found the oysters from the May River to be the best he has had. The dip was perfect - thick, full of crab and shrimp, and not salty. We visit Bluffton every Spring and we will be back to Bluffton Family Seafood House! Also, we recommended this place to others already!“

Our server was fantastic—attentive, friendly, and quick to rave about their Bloody Marys. Here we go again, I thought. Another server hyping up their Bloody Marys. Let me be the judge of that.

And judge I did. Verdict? Bernie’s makes the best Bloody Marys on Tybee. Period. They use their own homemade mix—bold move, because if you’re a true Bloody Mary fanatic, house mixes can be hit or miss. But this one? Absolute hit. Packed with flavor, perfectly balanced, and worth every sip.

Pair that with a dozen fresh oysters and you’ve got the ultimate Tybee experience. As a longtime Zing Zang loyalist, I don’t say this lightly: Bernie’s, you’ve officially converted me. Hats off to you, Mr. Bernie.“

“This is a beautiful black owned business. I was impressed with the decor, the outside is so inviting. The overall vibe was delightful. However, the service was extremely slow. After sitting for several minutes without being greeted, I flagged the closest server to ask about our server. There was no management on the floor at all. Once our order was taken the service didn't improve. The meal I ordered was ok.. I have the highest hope for this incredible eatery but it is obvious extensive training is needed.“

“Great food, friendly staff, especially the bartender (shout out to D!). Wonderful views, the sunsets are superb. There are two (free) parking lots to accompany guests. I had the local catch (snapper w/buerre blanc, topped with crab). The crab stew was thick and delicious!! The inside searing is small but the deck accommodates large groups. If you want sunset seating at the outside tables, you really should make a reservation. I sat inside at the bar with some locals and some tourists and just had a wonderful night. Go!!“

She was incredibly warm, attentive, and personal, taking the time to make us feel right at home from the moment we sat down. She went above and beyond to help make our son’s birthday feel special, and her kindness and energy brought a smile to all of our faces — even after a long, sandy day at the beach. It’s rare to find a place where the food and the service are equally top-notch, but this restaurant nailed it. We left full, happy, and already talking about when we could come back. “We dined at this restaurant last evening arriving around 5:15 and seated right away. Our server, Hart was awesome and our orders were accurate and he went out of his way to accommodate our requests. The atmosphere was nice but started to get really noisy upon our departure. The hush puppies were delicious and our Bloody Mary was exceptional but the rest of our food was mediocre. I will say my scallops were sweet and tender. Everyone else in our party said their dinners were just ok.“

“So the food here is good, but I don't appreciate when restaurants, skimp on the small thins. It's the quality, asxwell as the taste. So I ordered calamari, and it came out with a marinara sauce that was in a prepackage container. If you're going to do that, at least take it out of the package and put it in a nice little bowl to pretend that you made the marinara, because it can't be that difficult. It was $18 for the calamari, and to have some cold dipping. Marinara, that was prepackaged is completely unacceptable in my opinion. Or at least take the time to warm it a little. I don't know, put it in some hot water. For a couple of seconds. My husband on the other hand really led his point sandwich, which was shred.“
