“My husband and I came on Sunday during Rthymn and Roots. Our Jamaican Jerk Chicken was excellent. It is one of my favorite dishes. The fried okra reminds me of something my grandmother would make. It’s delicious and classic southern cuisine. Based on the increased demands from the festival; the staff handled it very well! The customer service we received was above and beyond what we expected under these conditions. I hope the staff are able to get some rest after this. Thanks for the great food and service!!!”

“Amazing Deli for lunch. The soups are incredible, the sandwiches are made to order. The salad dressings are made in house and honestly drinkable. Fresh coffees and homemade sweet tea. My favorite is the Asian wrap but everything is so good. Incredible service and cozy atmosphere.”

“One of my favorite restaurants and I’m a foodie. It’s an upscale but casual dining experience and the food is excellent. My favorites include the chicken and waffles and the chicken marsala. The brussel sprouts are also not to be missed.”

“Our meal here was absolutely delicious! Hannah was a wonderful server and very helpful with recommendations. The burger melted in our mouths & the handmade chips were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The veggie plate was (mac/cheese, squash casserole, broccoli, and beef veg soup) awesome, tasted homemade and portions were very generous! This was our first trip to Aubrey's and will definitely be on our 'favorite places to eat' list when we come back to Bristol!”

“My wife and I recently visited J Frank after hearing great things and having it on our list for a while. We made the short trip to Bristol with high expectations, and while there were certainly highlights, the overall experience was a bit underwhelming.

We started with the trout dip, which was delicious and easily the standout dish of the evening for me. The cocktails were decent—not exceptional, but still enjoyable.

For my entrée, I ordered the 14 oz. New York strip, which came with a Caesar salad and duck fat roasted potatoes. Unfortunately, the Caesar salad was surprisingly basic, lacking the depth of flavor I typically expect from a fine dining establishment. The steak itself was overcooked and didn’t carry the richness or seasoning I had hoped for. On a more positive note, the potatoes were excellent—crispy, flavorful, and well-prepared.

My wife chose the sirloin and crab cake entrée with creamed corn. Her sirloin was cooked beautifully and packed with flavor—she considered it the highlight of her meal. However, the creamed corn had an overpowering nutmeg flavor that didn’t quite work for her palate.

For dessert, I ordered the crème brûlée. It was good, though at a $10 price point, it didn’t quite stand out in the way we hoped.

Overall, our experience was good but fell short of the elevated expectations we had going in. That said, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was charming and well-executed. While it may not become a regular spot for us, we wouldn’t rule out giving J Frank another try in the future.”

“At first we wanted just the calzones, but the more we looked at the menu the more we wanted. The garlic knots with cheese are absolutely above any thing else we've had anywhere else. The calzones were amazing as well and they are huge, my wife and I got the mediums and I couldn't even finish mine. Overall score 100 out of 10 definitely going here again.”

“We are here on Good Friday and it is fantastic!!! The place was busy, but our server was so nice and the food is so good. We got a chicken flatbread to start, a couple of calzones, three pizzas, and garlic knots. The prices were surprisingly low for a pizza place but it was all delicious. Thanks for the great service and food. We will definitely be back.”

“My goodness, I’ve been coming to Mad Greek for years and it’s always amazing. This year has got to be one of my favorites ! Valentine’s at Mad Greek Bristol is the place to be. From the beautiful atmosphere to the great service and delicious food. The Cupid special was out of this world. How do you get two steaks and a bottle of wine for 69.99 anymore, not to mention they were perfectly cooked! We got spinach dip for the appetizer and it’s the best I’ve ever had! You can’t get that kind of deal with quality food anywhere anymore! Definitely a Bristol staple!”

“As a youngster, I played pool in Bristol pool halls. I may date myself, but they had spitunes that were missed frequently. I also visited several other pool rooms growing up. All I can say about this new venue is.WOW!! JANET has done a spectacular job that will make this a Bristol destination! First class all the way.”

“I met a friend for lunch since it's her favorite lunch spot. I was surprised there was already a line at 11am. We both ordered 'the chick' & I opted for a scoop of the new Maui mama & a scoop of lemon basil. They were both fresh & delicious. Unfortunately, both my friend & I felt there was something wrong with the pickle wedge. It actually had a bit of a pesticide odor. She ordered the Fancy Nancy with broccoli salad & was very happy with both of her selections. I would definitely return to this location, but I'll probably skip the pickle next time.”

“I go here all the time with my Mother. I've never felt more welcomed and genuinely appreciated than here.

The service it's top notch, it is far above and beyond anywhere else I've seen. It's so good, in-fact, whenever I eat somewhere else I almost feel guilty as I never experience a fraction of the same service anywhere else.

The food is, generally, pretty damn good too, especially for the price!

“This is one of my favorite quick dinner options! I typically always always always get the drunken noodles without spicey. Along with an order of crab Rangoon! Mmmm. It’s so good! Tonight is actually my second night choosing this place and I switched it up! I got the sweet and sour chicken with rice noodles and of course can’t forget the crab Rangoon (they serve my fav out of the area)
I will say I was sad about the rice noodles. They are not what I was actually expecting (these look and taste like lo mein) but regardless they are good the chickens amazing! The fresh veggies made it that much more appealing and tasty! Everything is always so hot and fresh. I’ve yet to find anything that is anything less than delicious at this little spot. I’ve never been in side but from the outside it looks extremely clean, and modern!!”

“After Driving 3 hours it was a breath of fresh air to have Malissa serve us. Just a Fabulous Team environment. One of the employees was getting off and went out of her way to assist us until Malissa could get to us. TEAM WORK. “We went tonight for the dinner buffet. They were busy, but still very friendly/efficient. There was only one girl working the front and 2 in the back. The pizza buffet never got empty. A guy from the back came out and would ask if there was anything he could make and put out. The food and service were excellent. It is the best Pizza Plus in Bristol!”

“I'm posting this about the Bristol location. There's a certain group of people who come in and sit at a bar table in the corner. I've seen this happen twice when they arrived orher customers had been seated at the table they like. Prior to receiving food the other customers have been asked to move to another table so this special group (they think they are )can have their regular table! I'm so upset that they let this happen especially management! I would have refused to leave the table if I was already seated. This is just ridiculous and I did make comments about it to our waitress and loud enough for the special group to hear. I never knew we could make people move at their table if we waited to sit there at Applebee's but they did last night and it's not the first time I've seen it. I may not ever go back.”
