“We had dinner at Howard’s last night (8-13). We had a beautiful table over looking the water. Our waitress was great. I wish I had remembered her name but was she was from Romania. We were a party of 4, 3 had the ribeye and 1 the filet. All were cooked perfectly. It was a nice way to celebrate my partners birthday! Thanks again for a nice evening!”

“Without a doubt the best ribs anywhere in the southeast. Fall off the bone and the rib sauce was out of this world. The sweet potato casserole was the bomb too. Good salad bar also. The staff, waiters and waitresses were kind and friendly. Reasonable prices !!!! I myself will eat there again and again every time I visit.”

“Visited Chesapeake’s last Sunday and it did not disappoint! Our server, Larry, was highly impressive from start to finish and we had great conversation, not trite, but also not invasive. The food was OUT OF THIS WORLD! We went with the broiled seafood platter, and WOW, just WOW. The shrimp were the best I’ve ever had, the crab cake was loosely packed and tender, not overrun by onion or garlic flavoring, but rather crab. What an idea! We finished with fresh strawberry shortcake. Perfection. The restaurant was quiet, staff was attentive and friendly, and food was outstanding. What are you waiting for?! GO!!!”

“We had an amazing evening at Redoak Bistro. It was cozy and romantic offering a dining experience that was the perfect balance of elegance and comfort. The bistro is run by a delightful husband and wife duo whose hospitality is exceptional, and you can tell they pour their hearts into every aspect of the restaurant, making it a truly special place. The small plates menu was a standout—each dish was a beautiful homage to European flavors with great attention given to presentation and service. We had the smoked salmon bruschetta, the duck foie gras, the smoked oyster flatbread and enjoyed a bottle of Malbec, then ended with a delicious chocolate torte. Absolutely Amazing!! Can’t wait to go back!”

“I stopped into Tennessee Cider Company on a recent trip to Gatlinburg and had a great time. The vibe was laid-back and welcoming, and the staff made it easy to relax and enjoy the experience. Special shoutout to Ryan Rees, who was behind the bar—he was super friendly, helpful with recommendations, and just made the whole visit better.

The tasting setup is great: you can try a couple samples for free, or pay a modest fee to taste through everything they have on tap, including some fun seasonal options. Every cider I tried was solid, with the Peach Mimosa and the Black & Blue standing out as favorites for their refreshing, well-balanced flavors.

The Pumpkin Pie cider was definitely a seasonal highlight—sweet, spiced, and festive. I really liked it, though I think it would be even better with just a little less flavoring to avoid the candle-like aftertaste. Still, it’s a cozy fall drink worth trying.

All in all, this is a spot I’d definitely recommend if you’re in Gatlinburg. Between the friendly service, the variety of flavors, and the relaxed atmosphere, conscience of access close to Anakeesta and Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies, Tennessee Cider Company is an easy stop I’d make again.”

“We decided to honeymoon in the Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge area on a whim after we got married this Monday and let me tell you, stumbled on this great gem as we came out of Ripley’s Mountain Coaster that’s across the street and boy were we surprised, impressed and so delighted we decided to go there on our last dinner before heading back home to Lexington ky. The staff was so tentative and welcoming to us through the whole dinner and we loved it! Definitely would recommend and ask for Travis, who makes the BEST caipirinhas hands down! Will be coming back to them time and time again!!!!!”

“Had an amazing dinner at Cherokee Grill Gatlinburg tonight! Service was great and efficient and friendly! I had the trout and my husband the pork chop. Both excellent! We also took a chance on the crab cake appetizer...best crab cake I've had in a long time! I'm from Maryland so super picky but this one was delicious and quite large! Very impressive!! Salads are huge so suggest you split one. Chardonnay was so good I asked the bartender to let me take a picture of the bottle.”

I had my eye on the brisket sandwich but prefer it shredded instead of sliced. Jessica didn’t hesitate, she checked with the kitchen and made it happen without any hassle. The food came out perfect, and it was absolutely delicious! All four of us enjoyed every part of our meal, and her service really made the experience even better.”

“We visit Smoky Mountain Brewery frequently. It is one of our favorite places in Gatlinburg. The food is always great along with the service. We always eat in the bar because our favorite server is Oana from Romania. She always remembers what beer we drink and when she takes our order she never writes anything down which always amazes us. She is very attentive and always pleasant to talk to. One of the reasons we always enjoy our visits to the Brewery.”

“We didn't know what we were planning on eating today after shopping. The guy at the corner said best steak in Tennessee. After we shopped and was walking back to our hotel we decided to give it a try. I am disabled and walk with a cane so we did the drive incline and a few steps. We got seated and Stone was there to get our drink orders. I always choose a sirloin but, none on the menu, Stone provided his top 3 with his favorite being minion. We went with that and was not led wrong very good meal, good price and wonderful service,”

“We visited the Log Cabin Pancake House while staying in Gatlinburg, and it was one of the best experiences of our trip! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted so warmly. The whole place has such a cozy, true cabin feel that makes you feel right at home. Our waitress, Ginger, was an absolute 10/10. She was so sweet, attentive, and even took the time to interact with my boys in such a genuine way. As a mom, that meant so much to me — especially since my son Samir is autistic and mostly nonverbal. She made us all feel comfortable, cared for, and welcome. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was cozy, and the service was truly the best we had on our entire trip. Thank you for such a wonderful breakfast and memory. “it was a first time for us and i was absolutely amazed at all of the different items available and the amount of knowledge about the products. the guy in the store was very nice and extremely patient with all of my questions considering i’m a lover of coffee and the whole tea thing is new for me! i am going to experiment with the many different recipes they have available and some of the spices and really neat sugars that are in the store. my husband is excited to try out the bourbon honey!! if i was to recommend one thing it would be daily tea samples for us Java Junkies to explore!! overall i was very pleased with the staff, service and i’m excited to try some tea!!! keep up the great work and we will be back to see you in Gatlinburg!!! we even found a local pottery store called the potter and the park that sells “tea jars”.”

Multiple gift and or home decor type items. It's located on the strip for a reason - draws in tourists who want something different to remember their trip by. The store is larger than expected. Pies looked like they would hit the spot. It's a 10 minute or less experience unless you really want to study every item they have for sale. The cookies make for a decent gift item.”

I did not expect such good quality food at a hotel restaurant! My husband and I split an order of fries to start, which were hot, fresh, and super crispy. For dinner we shared the Cajun pork chop. It was thick cut, paired with the mash potatoes which were amazing in their own right, and the broccoli was perfectly cooked. Would come again.”

“This bar and attached kitchen serve the indoor and outdoor resort areas (including all pool decks). They whip up awesome frozen concoctions efficiently and with a smile. The wait staff is stretched a bit thin at times, but they ultimately take care of you. The bartenders pitch in to wait tables at busy times too.The food is typically excellent for a Buffett resort, and we recommend the fish tacos, burgers, quesadilla and pizza after lunching here four days. Quantities are huge as well, and my wife and I sometimes split meals. I have all good and no bad to say about the LTC Bar. FIns up!”
