“I've been here a few times for my kids but never myself. Was running a bit late this evening and swung by to try it. The order was complete, with a few different sauces I requested (ask for their random suggestions) since I've never tried them here, and fast. Will be back and will be getting more of the "Good Good" sauce. Well done you all.“

“My cousin ordered lunch for me before I got on the plane Hot chicken tenders with fries. Oh My Goodness! the food was fantastic. It was hot and they had hotter. I had never had hot chicken before, but I will be going back the next time. I'm in Nashville. This location is in Smyrna. The picture is of my leftovers when I got back to Cali because I did bring it home to eat the rest for lunch the next day. ?“

“First time here. As a DF & GF person I was able to modify the chicken salad wrap to no wrap and no cheese. I feel the portion was large and could have took half home. I opted for fruit as a side but it didn’t come with the meal. I choose not to say anything because I was already stuffed. My husband ordered the yard bird sale. It definitely could have been two meals. He was able to get different sauces with each item. We tried to order the parm garlic sauce on the menu but that wasn’t available. Boneless wings were soggy. We ordered fountain drinks and a mill creek lime seltzer.“

“Ate here on a layover, thanks to the reviews. Employees were friendly, service fast, even though a long line. The tenders were amazing! The breading was super light, yet crispy. The "comeback" sauce I used to dip my fries into. So good! Definitely will stop here again if I'm Nashville airport!!“

“My niece is surprised they don't make their own ranch sauce. I got a medium heat chicken, all others ordered no heat. It is tasty chicken indeed. We added a touch of vinegar to the collard greens and they, too, were delicious. We chose this place as they have parking and is right off the highway.“

“We decided to stop in and try Helen’s for the first time and we are so glad we did. We had the catfish combo, chicken tender combo, gizzards and spicy fried pickles. The breading on everything as great! The flavor was great. The gizzards and chicken tenders were mild and just right. (We couldn’t watit to dig into the tenders before taking a photo.) The catfish we ordered plain and the seasoning is anything, but plain. The breading isn’t thick and overwhelming. The spicy pickles are a must! We also had their okra and fries as side and these were cooked well. We also tried the fruit tea which was a bit sweet, but goes very well with the spice. We’ll definitely be back!“

“Typically eat here 2-3 times a month..It's hit or miss on the flavors and freshness..Like last week ordered spiceyhoney garlic strips meal and for whatever reason there was little to no sauce or flavor on the strips...The fries however were so crispy and deliciously seasoned... 2 weeks prior the strips were deliciously sauced and the fries were soggy & cold and hardly seasoned...Consistency seems to be an issue I'm guessing...The potato salad is good too..“
