“This bakery is a must try, their classics and specials are very well done and they have new and seasonal items each visit. My favorite is the almond croissant; the Tomatillo Pinwheel I had on my last visit was excellent as well and I think seasonal. They have long tables for sit down meals, or you can order your pastries and coffee at the counter for quick grab and go service. It's cozy and dark inside, and has true coffee shop ambiance. This location has the added benefit of being on Lower Greenville, so a ton of other shops and restaurants nearby to try.“

“It was my first time at the restaurant. I loved the ambience, the coziness, the interior brick wall, and the artwork. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. The NEXT time we go, I will be sure to ask for a table by the window. And there WILL be a “next” time.“

“Been here handful of times and its consistently good service, quick, and food is always great. Parking is a vut if an issue tho, but not their fault, so i won't knock them for it. Just plan ahead.Parking: Lot is always full so plan ahead if you don't want to do valet parking“

“5 stars are not enough! This is one of those rare places that transport you to another dimension and hit you right in the feels. Yes, I'm not exaggerating. The ambiance is electric, the servers are attentive and friendly, the bartenders are masters of their craft, and the piano man? Pure magic. “I had a wonderful time in the French Room for high tea. The room and architecture is STUNNING and you immediately feel glamorous as you walk in. The service is also top notch. Our waitress (both times I've gone) offered a mini photo shoot at our table to make sure me and my guests got cute photos together. During my latest visit, our waiter took the time to tell us about each of the teas served - I loved learning about them and he was so passionate. The experience is so lovely and the treats delicious too (my favorite is always the scones & clotted cream). Here is how I would rate the high tea goodies: - Champagne (7/10) - Savory indulgences (tea sandwiches) (7/10) - Scones, tea cakes & pastries (8/10) - Hot teas (10/10) Pro tip: Going during the Christmas holiday season is such a magical time to go; the hotel and French room are beautifully decorated then. “Came in during the day and it was very relaxing, we had the oysters as an appetizer and was very pleased. (6) count oysters. The passion fruit was delicious, way better than the all day rose drink option..wasn't worth the picture. All around very fulfilling, delectable, presentation was 9/10 and we will be back.“

“I stumbled upon this place this week for the first time, not sure what to expect. The food was very good. The atmosphere was interesting. The clientele seemed to be regulars and were very “familiar” with each others’ spouses. Not that there’s anything wrong with that, it was great people watching. I wouldn’t be surprised if they had Pineapple Upside-down Cake on the menu next time I go back…and I certainly will come again.“

“The salmon with tarragon béchamel was sublime. Great location next to the Majestic and near the Arts District, St Paul Station, and parking, with a cozy atmosphere that feels like a Parisian café. Service is top-notch. Will definitely return, probably for a special occasion.Bonus: the espresso is what espresso is supposed to taste like, strong not bitter, with smooth mouth feel and the perfect kiss of caramel at the finish. (This place is going to turn me into a foodie!)Dietary restrictions: The reservation app asked about dietary/allergy restrictions, but I don't know what difference that would make, because I don't think the restaurant knew that person was me. I could be wrong. Nevertheless, the fact that they ask, and that they did graciously accommodate my sensitivity, speaks volumes.“

“This is the very best North Dallas neighborhood French family restaurant/bistro. The food is always top tier, prepared fresh and perfect. There are monthly offerings that vary with the seasons that are always a delight. The prices are very fair, so much better value than you would see in most of the fancier French restaurants towards downtown. And, the service, by an established and seasoned regular crew of waitstaff, is the nicest and best around!“

“When you walk into this restaurant it feels warm and inviting. The service was fair but not outstanding. We started with the escargot (not my favorite, was way too buttered and just left a film in my mouth, the steak tartare was excellent as was the oysters. We ordered the roasted chicken which was flavorful and moist. Didn't even use the gravy for it. We also had the striped bass which was done very well. I like their patio which was easy and relaxed.“

“It was my first time visiting this establishment & I was extremely impressed. Each menu item I tasted was unique & absolutely delicious. The service I got from each staff member was awesome as well. I was dining solo & the bartender Dino was personable, very helpful & a great conversationalist. He definitely made my experience even better. “So, my wife and I had an awesome experience. The pace of service was great, our server, Sohail (not sure on spelling so forgive me if that’s wrong) was awesome - he recommended wines and was just all around awesome. What follows is some critiques I have as a professional chef specifically regarding the food and they are intended to hopefully provide both the guests and the restaurant with more value. Bottom line, if you want to eat here, do it.To start, my wife had the mushroom risotto. It was cooked really well, just al denté. Flavor was good, but it needed just a little bit more salt and some sort of vinegar or citrus to balance the flavors. Overall, they nailed the texture, maybe having someone taste it before it goes out would help the kitchen navigate the salt and acid thing.I had the foie gras, which I loved. The foie is obviously a purchased product but honestly, to a point, that doesn’t really matter. Same for the jam. It worked and it worked well. In my experience, it is less expensive to prepare foie gras in house if your cooks have the ability to do so, and I think most ECs and owners know that. That being said, it’s so rare to find actual foie on the menu these days so don’t pass it up!My wife had the roasted chicken for her main course, which she enjoyed and I did as well, and I just wish they had taken the time to either wet or dry brine the chicken. For one, a brined chicken is so much more forgiving when roasting. I will say that the herbs and other seasonings they used were perfect, but it would just have been so, so much nicer if the chicken was evenly seasoned throughout. I’m a huge stickler for this. Brining/dry brining helps to tenderize the meat and causes it to retain more moisture. More importantly, it evenly distributes salt throughout which improves the overall flavor. Plus if herbs and citrus are added - even better. None of it was bad, this is just my take to make a good dish great.I have similar feelings for my entree. I had the duck confit. The legs were made very well, the à l’orange sauce was delicious and seasoned perfectly. I could do without the spinach but if you’re someone who needs the bitterness it’s a good choice. I will say that two whole leg quarters of duck is a LOT of food, they might be better served by reducing the portion. I saw the menu price and was not expecting two leg quarters. I also have the same critique as I did above. Brine the duck before confit so it is evenly seasoned. Beyond that, I’m a bit ashamed to admit that I did ask them to sub the sweet potato purée for white potato purée. This is where I actually have a small - albeit probably negligible - complaint. On the menu, it says “pommes purée” or “sweet pommes purée”. When you put that, I believe the expectation is French style pommes purée; thus it should be completely smooth and somewhat flowing; almost a sauce.Ultimately, service was great. We spent probably a little more on alcohol than we did on food - which is a big statement. The most expensive bottle of wine I saw was $16,000. We probably spent about $250 on booze (for about 8 drinks) so even if you’re not a fancy wine type, you’ll be comfortable. But the food is good, could use some refinement, but overall, we’re definitely going back and if nothing is different, we’ll still enjoy it!“

“I'm in macaron heaven!!!! This place had a long line when we got here but after wandering around for a bit I finally got to try out a few flavors. These macarons were scrumptious. The right amount of crispy on the shell to the density and chewiness. My favorite was the cookies n cream! We also ordered the lemon and the pistachio! The flavor of the pistachio one could be a little stronger but overall it was still yummy! Definitely get a few macarons if you're nearby!“
