“I loved this restaurant when I first ate here 28 years ago. I moved away but was in Dallas last night so I made a reservation and it was even more amazing than I remembered. The service was impeccable. Our waiter Charlie was amazing and recommended the best wine pairings but the food… ah the food…. Let’s just say if I ever have a “last meal” I would want it to be this. I got the champagne Brie soup, the Filet Rossini and flourless chocolate cake. Each bite was perfection. Seriously, one of the best meals of my life. Hope it doesn’t take another 28 years to return. Parking was easy with a dedicated lot nearby—no waiting. Only thing? Maybe more tables during peak hours would help, but overall, a great spot for any occasion.“

We started with their famous Marshmallow Soup — a creamy tomato and carrot bisque with tangy goat cheese “marshmallows.” Truly unique and so comforting. For entrées, we shared the Southwest Chicken Soufflé and the Mac & Cheese Soufflé. Both were divine — airy yet rich, perfectly seasoned, and beautifully presented. I finished with the Blueberry Soufflé, which was bursting with flavor and beautifully airy. My husband had the Crème Brûlée, with its perfectly crisp top and creamy custard — classic and flawless. “What an absolutely fantastic Italian-American restaurant. I was pleasantly surprised by how great the pasta was.

Started with the fried calamari and whipped ricotta with garlic bread. The whipped ricotta is an absolute must order and I’ll definitely be getting that again. The calamari was good, but pretty standard fried calamari, although I loved the addition of the chilis.

The portions are absolutely massive, so it’s very easy to share dishes. I got the spaghetti and meatballs and they were an absolute delight. The meatballs were juicy, seasoned perfectly, and had a great texture. You can tell they’re freshly made and use quality meat. Others at my table got the Chicken Parm Vodka and Tortellini Vodka, and both were rich, creamy, and delicious. The Chicken Parm portion was especially huge.

The food here is a 10/10 and I’ll be telling everyone to come here for some great Italian food.

The restaurant itself is charming. The booths are huge and I loved all the photos and paintings on the walls. The Kingdom of Italy flag caught my eye too. Once the sun went down, the atmosphere really started to come alive.

There are a few things I think Barsotti’s could improve on. The bussers seemed a little underdressed for this type of restaurant, and some of their shirts were stained. We were also celebrating a birthday and specifically mentioned it in the reservation, so I was hoping for some acknowledgment. Our waiter was very nice and respectful, but I would have liked a little more interaction and explanation of the menu.

Overall, the positives definitely outweigh the negatives. I’ll be coming back and would recommend Barsotti’s to others.“

“Valle is a very beautiful bar with a great atmosphere and a stylish vibe. The place is well designed, the drinks are good, and it’s a nice spot to spend time with friends. The only downside is that the music is extremely loud. It can be difficult to have a conversation or fully enjoy the experience because of the volume. I noticed that some people even leave because it’s hard to relax and socialize. If they lowered the music just a little, this place would be nearly perfect.“

The GM gave the history of this location. A few years back, there was a terrible tornado that ripped through the location, but the history of rebuilding the location and the symbolic life jackets on the wall of the 12 survivors who were in the location when the tornado hit.

Honestly, this is what gives a place true character, and I'm sure this place will live on to tell more phenomenal stories. Cheers to these amazing people running this place. A true testament to honest and great hospitality.“

First time ever, just couldn't finish the bowl. Asked waiter, they said they recently noticed same thing... Anyway, suggest you ask your waiter b4 ordering, see if this has been corrected. If cutting corners, this is not the way to do it. FYI, customer since they opened.“
