“What an awesome find! Food was so good! Meatball sandwich and meatballs made in house. Fresh and hot. Place has such a great atmosphere. Seating in and out. Great bar seating at the window to watch what's going on outside. Picked up a brownie too which tastes wonderful. As I was enjoying my sandwich one of the owners brought me one of their cinnamon rolls. Lemmon-blueberry cinnamon roll. I brought it home with me. I had admired it while ordering my food. Greatly appreciated the gesture. Check it out. Order at the counter and they bring you your grub. Saves a bit on tipping full amount. Place is spotless and done with a black and white decor. I loved the place and will be going there regularly and sharing it with friends. Check out the menu online. “Quality local-ish roast coffee shop in downtown Dallas. The beans are roasted in Fort Worth so that's pretty close, comparatively. That's what they say. Anyway. It's popular. There may be a line. That's OK. The coffee is worth the short wait. Also, doggo friendly.Despite being located in the Magnolia Petroleum Company's former headquarters, the coffee does not taste like motor oil. “We have been going to Luckys for 15+ years for breakfast. We used to go quite a bit when we lived at Southside but not so much since we moved to the country. I have gotten to go there several times in the last couple of weeks. It's been a real treat the quality of the food and the service is still beyond anything I can find in the central Dallas area. Ask for biscuits before you start. Eat them plain with butter or like I do butter and strawberry jam. Ask for a pancake on the side, you can split it if you want, it's pretty big. I stay away from the cinnamon butter they give you and just use butter and syrup. I hope you get a chance... it will reset your standard.“

They forgot about me. And didn’t know how to make a basic cocktail. For dessert they only had white cake and ice cream. This place screams for Tiramusu or a rich chocolate dessert. They had chocolate syrup. Seriously?Waiters wore worn out t-shirts. Need nicer shirts please. This could be a nice, classy jazz supper club. But they’ve forgotten to take care of first impressions. Zest Cafe is a super cute corner cafe, that is open, bright and lively. The staff was very nice and were well equipped to manage a full restaurant. They were very accommodating as our large party consisted of gifts, a cake and booster seats. We snacked on a sampler platter of almond croissants, kouign-amann, and apple cinnamon muffins. The croissant was a little dry, but the muffin and the kouign-amann were moist and delicious. We also shared plates of the edamame hummus and deviled eggs that were both really good.I thoroughly enjoyed the lavender st. Germain spritz and the togarashi tuna and ancient grain salad.“

A missing leading note is that they say the space is good for kids but if you plan on eating there with a little one you better only need one high chair and hope no one else has snagged it. They only keep one high chair for the whole restaurant. I would consider upping your count because saying kid friendly isn't accurate until that happens. “Looking for good brunch by the lake, park, and you need food? I suggest ordering that this cafe. If you're looking for a high quality Uber breakfast, you have it here. Located not too far from Kiest Park, I have ordered the traditional breakfast--bacon, toast, and eggs , strawberries with orange and cranberry juices. I have ordered three times and not once disappointed. The service was timely presented and freshly made. It gave you a feel that it was home cooked. It has a community and family ambiance; I also would recommend at-home Sunday brunch with foods from this restaurant. The traditional breakfast items did pair well with my dry white blend of Chardonnay/Sauvignon Blanc, "Farms Remembered". You may also want to consider creating a Mimosa from the fresh orange juice at this cafe. For wine drinkers, a Prosecco is also a good pairing wine with most of the breakfast items they offer. I do recommend that you try this cafe. Donald S. Chandler, Jr. Ph.D. Chandler Plaza, LLC Certified Texas Wine Specialist“

“I stumbled upon Otto's Coffee and Fine Foods while exploring the local area in Dallas, and I'm so glad we did. Located adjacent to the Adolphus hotel, the coffee shop may experience some hotel traffic, but don't let that deter you. I ordered a vanilla pistachio latte, and it was excellent. The flavor combination was unique and well-balanced, making for a delicious drink. Otto's Coffee sources their coffee beans from Full City Rooster, known for having some of the best coffees in Dallas, and it definitely showed in the quality of my latte. The ambiance inside the coffee shop was upscale and cozy, giving off vibes of a super upscale study. I found it to be a perfect place to relax and enjoy my coffee. If I find myself in Dallas again, I will definitely make a point to stop by Otto's Coffee and Fine Foods. It's a great spot for coffee lovers looking for a high-quality cup of coffee in a sophisticated setting.“

“I love this place. Always great to stop by when craving a snack/treat. They have Aguas frescas, and when I say frescas I really mean fresh!! They literally make the drink right in front of you! I've only ever tried their nachos and hot cheetos with cheese, and they are not greedy with their servings. I will definitely be coming back to try everything on the menu as they have so many options!!“

“i visited le bon temps twice. the first time the coffee was so good, i wanted to visit again. second time, the coffee is kinda missing something the service is as to be expected in a cafe; nice but calm. ambiance is chill. there are tables & chairs on the sidewalk. now onto the drinks & bites : i got a pistachio milk latte with caramel and the mini beignets. last time i got the churro beignets and they were stellar!“

“This place is a true gem for sure, can’t believe I’ve been in Texas for 7 years and I’m only finding out about this place just now.Great customer service and great music when ever I go inThey’ve got a lot of great products and their kitchen is off the hook, their food is so very delicious, and especially in the morning the place is usually so very busy because of there breakfast tacos and there coffee.Their potato tacos, grass fed burgers and chicken quesadillas are what I usually buy since I can’t have pork, and they are so very delicious. The kitchen’s employees are so very nice and friendly and I enjoy talking to them whenever I’m there.“

Cheese Burger with Sweet Potato Fries

“This place is amazing! Not too far (walkable) from Klyde Warren Playground/Park and very good deals. We have tried most of them but keep coming back for the Tuesday special of a chili dog (specialty bun and good size beef hotdog) covered in chili, onions, mustard and cheese. Make it a meal with fries and a fountain drink and the whole meal is less than $6! Condiments and free refills onsite -and plenty of place to sit. So glad to have found this gem!“
