“What a good breakfast experience! The Chicken Wings with Waffle and Catfish with Grits were absolutely delicious! The combination of crispy, juicy chicken and fluffy waffles was really good, and the catfish was cooked to perfection with a side of creamy grits. But what really made our visit stand out was the excellent service. Our server was friendly, attentive. The atmosphere was lively and fun, with a great vibe that added to our enjoyment. If you're looking for a mouthwatering breakfast or brunch, look no further than The Breakfast Klub. We can't wait to go back and try more or their Southern style flavors.“

“I was looking for a new breakfast place and I found this 9 mins away. I had the inspired Italian with the morning meditation juice and I was surprised how good they were. I usually stay away from any type of ethnic inspired dishes specially for breakfast because they tend to flip and I feel like I wasted money but the Inspired Italian was quite an interesting take. A blend of savory, salty, sweet and sour. It's weird to say it on an omelette but this one was quite refreshing. The morning meditation juice was also very nice. Not overly sweet but also an eye candy. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend“

“We came here for breakfast. The cashier and food server were very friendly and polite. The busser was also very nice. The food was delicious. However, as we were finishing up I wanted to refill my coffee right as the restaurant experienced a big rush. There was only one coffee urn for the “bottomless cup” and it was being refilled. I waited several minutes for it to fill as a coffee line formed behind me. In college I worked in the service industry and know how to put the spout back into a coffee urn so I asked a busser if I could. He said he’d go get the manager to help. I didn’t want to wait even longer and the restaurant was packed, so I put it back together myself. I should have just waited, I know. As I did that the manager came out and I nicely and politely told her that I’d already put it back together. I guess she didn’t listen or didn’t hear me because she told me to sharply to give her a second and she’d give us more coffee. I told her, again nicely and politely, that it’s already full. She turned around and literally gave me a look like she wanted to kill me. The lady next to us was surprised too. Through gritted teeth she said, “Like I said, let me get my bearings and we will get you more coffee” in a seething voice. I was a little shaken. She was so incredibly rude. I understand that I should have just waited, but there should have been several coffee urns available and we’d already waited. I’ve been busy and flustered before and I worked in the service industry in college. Even when busy and annoyed, I never spoke to a customer rudely, much less with pure vitriol in my voice and expression. I can’t imagine how she treats the employees. All the other employees were nice and the food was good so that’s why they get four stars. If it weren’t for that run in with the manager over poorly stocked bottomless coffee on a Saturday morning then I would have given five.“

“Steven was our server today and by far this has been the best service I have had in a while. He was very knowledgeable of the menu and had awesome recommendations. We felt like we’ve known him for a while just from our conversations. He made sure we had everything we needed and we never had to search for him. 10/10 would recommend him when you come dine“

“I’ve been to many places far and wide and I’ve never experienced anything quite like this place! The service was amazing and omg our sever Deanna was even better! If I could order her to go I would! I was having such a tough day today and thought nothing would flip my spirit right back round but she is just the most cutest and sweetest person I’ve ever met. I can’t seem to shake this feeling like she is my long lost daughter. I’m a bit embarrassed to say this but I think…. I love her as if she was my own. I think I may look into adopting her but enough of my rambling I just wanted to leave a positive review on here because she left such a positive mark on my day and my life. I will never forget her. My long lost daughter. I love you mijah“

“Coco is a staple for us in midtown. The crepes, paninis, pastries, and gelato are all sublime. They make great coffee/espresso drinks as well. The staff are so friendly and accommodating. The outdoor seating is plentiful and the ambient music is enjoyable but not distracting. Recommend the savory crepes - my favorite is the Mediterranean crepe.“

“Million Dollar bloody Mary is bland and tasted like it was only bloody mary mix. When I asked for horseradish to add some spice to it (a basic ingredient of any bloody mary) they brought over a horseradish sauce. The cheesy grits were VERY good though.“

“Food and service is great. Leaving 4 stars because although they offer gluten free items, it's not celiac friendly from my experiences. I can't speak for every celiac individual out there but I'm very sensitive to the cross contamination and even if I specify the allergy, it's always enough to make me sick. So sad I can't eat here anymore.“

“Located on the southwest side of Houston, Texas, this hidden gem brunch spot is a true find. With exceptional food quality and top-notch service, it's a must-visit. The spacious layout provides plenty of room to relax or work, and the abundance of outlets ensures you're always powered up. But what truly sets this place apart is its amazing coffee and delicious avocado dishes.“

“Enjoyed a delicious breakfast before heading to the Fine Arts Museum. Came on a quiet Wednesday morning and really enjoyed the atmosphere, food, and service by my waitress Zeidi I believe was her name. Pictured is the corned beef hash, scrambled eggs, and I substituted the toast with a gluten free version of a strawberry shortcake pancake along with a cappuccino. The ambience is charming and retro reminiscent of the 60’s/70’s with plenty of seating options for groups, couples, solo diners and bar/counter area.Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free optionsParking: Plenty of parking, much of the lot was taken (came in on a quiet morning) which I would assume would make weekend dining difficult to find a spot. My guess is the parking lot must be shared by the building behind. Some street parking is available.Kid-friendliness: Plenty of space to dine in with kids on booths and wrap around booths with chairs side as well.“

When I pulled up I wasn't sure if I would stop or look for something else. So glad I went in and tried Tee's. It is in a large building on the 1st. I ordered the sausage, egg, and cheese English muffin and it was amazing!!! One of the best breakfasts I've had in a long time. Will definitely come back when in town!!!“

“We just moved here to the area and didn't want to spend an arm and a leg at Shipley's (34 bucks for a dozen kolaches?!) so my husband did some googling and found this place and OMG. The pics posted don't do this place justice. The kolaches and other food items are HUGE for the price, and the small kolaches are the size of the large ones at most other places. The glazed donuts are better than Shipley's and melt-in-your-mouth soft enough to be on-par with Krispy Kreme (only fatter and bigger donuts. ?)We still spent 34 bucks but walked away with a dozen small kolaches AND a dozen glazed donuts. I haven't tried their tacos or coffee yet, but I WILL be coming back. This immediately has become our go-to!“

“this is hands-down my favorites breakfast place, but I still won’t give it more than a four star review because it is a fast food chain. I don’t come here a lot and buy that I mean maybe once every couple of years. I used to come all the time with my friends in high school but honestly, it is kind of expensive to go out for breakfast all the time.mostly it’s best to eat at home and I would love to come here more often especially if other people liked it as much as I did. This place is good for dates, time with family, or even eating by yourself. As always much love from Houston and the universe.Parking: good number of spotsKid-friendliness: good for familyWheelchair accessibility: good access but can be cramped“

“Conveniently location on the street of Alief Clodine!Im so glad I discovered this ma and pa shop! It feels nice to support our local ma and pop shop! They have one of the best kolaches I’ve ever had! They even have boudin kolaches! They also have different options to try for their breakfast items. Absolutely delicious! The bread is buttery soft. There’s also different size of sausages that you can pick from: they have minis, regular, and large. This place will definitely be my new go to for a quick kolache run!“
“the lady working up front was incredibly nice and working the place by herself, she gave us two free donuts which were the best ones i’ve ever had. The sausage biscuit was also the best sausage biscuit i’ve ever had. Please go to this place!“
“I absolutely love the Elote and nachos from here. It is hands down the best refresqueria near the North Shore area, in my opinion. I haven't been here in forever since yesterday and I've missed it. If you pass or are near this area, I recommend stopping by to grab a quick snack or even their aguas frescas, they're so refreshing and taste delicious. It's a relatively small place so one might miss it, but it's definitely worth keeping an extra eye out for it. I used to live 2 minutes away from this refresqueria, the neighborhood right behind it. We used to walk here when we wanted ice cream, snow cones, or any Mexican known snacks, obviously this was when it wasn't 100 degrees in October. I enjoyed going there with my family, it was nice to have a refresqueria so close, before this one opened we used to drive 15 minutes to our nearest one and it wasn't as good. The employees were so nice and helpful, not to mention how good their corn was! I was obsessed! Moving further into the city made me realize how simple and nice it was living where I did, the refresquerias over by my new home aren't that great and they are extremely packed. People just want to get you in and out. I've passes by here a few times, and it seems like the business is doing pretty well and I'm glad it has. I love my Mexican culture and miss visiting Mexico so being in here definitely brings some of those memories back. I do want to say that they should add more parking, the parking is kind of strange, and even more so that there is now a car shop next door who seems to take over 95% of the parking.“

“A simple place, great traditional food. I had a unique experience with the delicious Country Benedict, with poached eggs on fluffy biscuit topped with thin grilled tomato slices and white country sausage gravy. “We were traveling through Houston on our way to a cruise And looking for breakfast/brunch to start our day - part of the family wanted to go to Cracker Barrel because that’s all they know. Thankfully Cracker Barrel is always too slammed and would have taken hours just to get a table! So we went to Toasted Yolk as it was also nearby and thats where I wanted to go anyway!I put our name on the list and when we got there with our party of 14, we were seated pretty immediately. And it’s not like they were slow by any means, they were pretty busy but they made room and got us seated. When we got seated our waitress took our food and drink order and our food started coming out pretty quickly. We were all surprised.I got the crawfish omelette with a side pancake, my wife got the shrimp and grits, sister and her husband got the brisket tacos to share and the kids got numerous kids items.Everything was so tasty! Some real southern delicious food accompanied by some nice southern hospitality. My crawfish omelette was full of veggies jalapeños and crawfish. So good. The shrimp and grits was so flavorful, I think it was my favorite. Really tasty and a nice sized portion. The pancake was also really delicious and fluffy. We also got a Paloma which was nice and strong and really well made.Everything was tasty. The service was great. Everyone was a happy camper! Hard to do when there are 14 people haha.Don’t go to Cracker Barrel, make sure you go to Toasted Yolk Cafe!“

“I have been looking for a place that serves breakfast all day; that's not a chain restaurant. I think I might have found it!! Breakfast is my favorite food; I can eat it all day. So when Hot Stop pooped up in my search I jumped on it. It's a petite size outdoor building, no inside, order and go or you can call in your order. They accept cash and cards; however cards theres a fee. I ordered #18 Toast, eggs, bacon and grits with side pancake cooked crispy which cane to $10. I didnt have to ask for anything, she had everything I needed already in the bag. Food, salt/pepper packs, plastic-wear, napkin, jelly and syrup. This is exactly what I wanted and have been looking for. It reminded me of what my grandparents would cook for us any given morning. Simple and flavorful. They have lunch and dinner items if you are not a breakfast eater. This has been booked marked and I definitely will go back!“

“Stopped in to the Mangum location on a whim. Ordered the fried chicken & waffle plate. The chicken was perfectly seasoned, crispy, juicy wonderfulness served up with a very good cream gravy. The waffle rivaled my favorite (Waffle House); hot, crispy, and light. The atmosphere is a bit, let's say...dated, but as a Boomer I was digging the old school, truck stop diner vibe. Don't get me wrong, everything was neat & clean! Food was delish. I'll go back!“

“Yes, Jason's is a chain and sometimes it can get boring, day-after-day-after-day. However, this location has customer service that sets it apart from others. The only down side is the small parking lot - sometimes you have to park in the back and walk quite a way to the front door. This restaurant would do better to relocate somewhere with better parking.“

“Yummy brunch! Our party of 6 were able to be seated quickly without any reservations on a weekday. We got high tables initially but the servers were kind to allow us to move to a low dining table after it was made available. We didn’t have to wait too long for our food and the ones we ordered were decent as well. Loved the matcha and coffee served here too!Totally would recommend for a fuss free brunch.“
