I have a biscuit obsession. I am always on the lookout for new places to try a biscuit. Today was my first time here and it will not be my last.
When I found the place on Google, I thought, ok anyone who makes a breakfast sandwich with tomato knows what’s up! That’s what brought me here along with the fact that…there’s biscuits.
We walked up to order and was greeted by a very kind person, who also loves dogs. Nice to me and nice to my dogs, I love that! Anywhere I’m welcome with my dogs is perfect. Thank you for offering them a treat.
When we got our food I was busy enjoying my pancakes first while my hubby ate his breakfast sandwich. I was completely caught off guard when he started saying he liked the biscuit. He NEVER mentions he likes anything! I almost choked 😆 I was shocked he said that. We never agree when eating so now I couldn’t wait to try it.
I bit in and it was just like homemade. The biscuit was unbelievable. The whole sandwich was prime perfectness.
I also got the lemonade, that was great! Like a sparkling fruit drink.

So on my way home I got behind a car that had a bumper sticker that said “follow me to Lynny’s” is that not the craziest coincidence!

“Love this new place. Whether it’s coffee, cocktails, tacos, beer, or even a burger and fries from the vegan nom next door, this place is amazing. The staff is super friendly and there’s always something new to try. Hope they are super successful and stay around a while.“

“My fiancé and I stopped by for brunch and were so impressed — I’ve never rated a place 10/10 before, but this one absolutely deserves it! The food was incredible — my fiancé had the steak and eggs, and I had the Day Maker Classic. Both were perfectly cooked and full of flavor. We also shared a side of pancakes, which were fluffy, delicious, and honestly some of the best I’ve had.

The coffee was amazing too — rich and smooth, not bitter at all. Our server (I believe his name was Ryan or Bryan) was super friendly, attentive, and made the experience even better.

“I’m not a fan of the way they asking you for tips. Only 18% 20% 22% and custom option on the screen to enforce you give some tips. Giving you pressure to not press CUSTOM button. You need to order a coffee while standing in the line, take the drink by yourself and return the cup by yourself. Then what’s the tips for? I prefer to go to Starbucks than visiting small business asking for tips like this. Drinks are okay. BTW no free parking.“

“I had an amazing experience at THE COFFEE BAR inside Tommie Austin! The moment I walked in, I was welcomed by the cozy yet chic ambiance, perfect for either a quick coffee break or a relaxed work session. The baristas were friendly, knowledgeable, and made excellent recommendations.

I ordered a flat white, and it was perfectly crafted—smooth, with just the right balance of espresso and milk. The beans they use are top-notch, providing a rich, aromatic flavor that hits just right. I also tried one of their pastries, and it was fresh and delicious, the perfect complement to the coffee.

Whether you're a guest at the hotel or just passing through downtown Austin, THE COFFEE BAR is a must-visit spot. Great vibes, quality coffee, and stellar service.
