“We LOVE coming here. Best Seafood Restaurant in Brownsville, hands down. Honestly, probably in South Texas. We love seafood and have tried many different places. But, none like these.The food is freshly made and delicious!The waitress is a younger girl and she’s absolutely fantastic, Karla. She is amazing! We got the Mariscada for 2 and a Fish Taco and Soup . Amazing!“

“Ordered the Fishermen Variety Platter, 2 large fried fish fillets, 2 jumbo fried shrimp, 2 fried oysters, 2 fried scallops, fries and a serving of fresh cottage cheese with an iced cold Coca Cola, food was cooked to perfection, service was great, I really enjoyed my meal. Thanks to the management and staff, excellent 👍👍👍👍👍😋😁“

“What a wonderful place for seafood. I had the small shrimp cocktail and pan broiled fish fillets and both were delicious. The cocktail was loaded with shrimp and the fillets were remarkable both in flavor and cooking! No hesitation saying go see for yourself!!!“

“Small Mexican restaurant. I don't think they get tourists there very often. I enjoyed the flavor of the food, but was quite spicey compared to what I usually eat, and it wasn't even listed as being spicey. I think its just safer to assume almost everything there is spicey.
Parking: Small parking lot. not easy to maneuver, so please remember to be careful going in or out of the parking lot.
Dietary restrictions: Gluten Allergy - most food that is breaded is made of corn flour and Not wheat flour.“

“So. Damn. Good. I got the half order of the fisherman’s platter and it was amazing! The fish was so fresh, and the batter on everything was awesome. I haven’t had seafood this delicious in forever. Our waitress was super lovely and very helpful, she was on top of drinks and everything came out super fast. I loved the rolls and I definitely want to return to try more of their menu. The manager was super nice and a really friendly individual as well. Worth the visit! 🐟🍤💕“

“Most importantly, the food is great! The decor is nice enough and the drinks are typical for a restaurant. But besides the food, what sets Dirty Al’s apart from the rest it’s their service! Starting from the bar, through the wait staff and ending with the manager, the Brownsville location will do everything in their power to make you feel comfortable. Denise the manager, Karla my waiter, Rick & Clarita my bartenders get special mentions. Great place, great food and a good time. P.S. The daily lunch special is affordable and delicious. Give the a try!“

“This place has been my childhood favorite place to eat and I’ve seen go through generations. The prices are very affordable still like good old days. Food is good and now with the upgrades they have given into the place is very nice. My best choice when I come back to town for a visit this is my breakfast spot. ?“
