“We hosted a Celebration of Life at BJ's Brewhouse, Hwy 281 N. Could not have been more satisfied with the atmosphere, service, and especially the food. There were 80 of us with the Pizza and Salad Buffet. EVERYBODY there remarked how wonderful how wonderful the pizza and service were. I've heard terms like "never had pizza this good", "the service was excellent", "wonderful place." I highly recommend this particular location for events. EXCELLENT.“

“Adorable place. German chicken & dumplings were the best I've ever had - my favorite dish since childhood. So flavorful and full of chicken. Dumplings were homemade. The pan fried potatoes served with the brats were out of this world. Roasted, sliced, flash fried, then seasoned and pan fried with garlic, onions, and layers of seasonings. Bright airy atmosphere with very friendly service from Jennifer.“

“We were at the Rim location just now. We sat in the bar area and immediately left. The floor had chips, old french fries on the floor and under the table. I had even said something about the floor needed sweeping as the hostess sat us. She didnt even bother to come back to address that. We got up and left. If the staff is like that with upkeep upfront, I did not want to know how they maintain their kitchen. I can understand if they were very busy and did not have time but there was a couple of people in the bar area. They could have addressed that. Very dissappointed.“

“We took our 9 yr old with some friends for his birthday and the staff was phenomenal! Every single staff member we came in contact with went above and beyond for us. (Note: We did not book a party, we just walked in and free played) I tried to remember names, and I know I forgot some, but the ones I can remember are: Ariel - helped us figure out the best bang for our buck and so friendly! Any questions I had, she answered. Skye - she was great with the kids in laser tag and the prize area. So helpful. James - the kids were waiting for us to finish the transaction and he was helping them do some free play with the games. Right off the bat great service from the time we walked in until we left. Another time James was so helpful was with the ropes course - 2/4 kids were not having it. He tried to convince them they were okay and he wouldn’t let them fall but also let them know they didn’t have to do it if they didn’t want to and helped them back down to the floor. He also had a partner in the ropes course but I forgot his name. He was so nice and polite! James also gave a little gift to my child. Made his day (and ours!!). Ivan - we had an issue with a game and a prize getting stuck. He came over right away and helped and asked if there was anything else he could do for us. Kelvin - he was our waiter in the Bowling area. He was so friendly and always made sure we had what we needed. Helped me with choices on the menu. Great fella! Again, we cannot get over how friendly as well as above and beyond the staff is at Main Event on 1604 & 281! Thank you for making our day! We will definitely be back!!“

“I recently had lunch at Silo with a friend and her family. It was absolutely delicious. Everyone loved their food...from the chicken fried oysters, to the pecan crusted chicken and the salmon. The duck egg roll appetizer was fabulous as well. Aside from the meal, the service was outstanding, as usual, and the Manager, Scott, even came by to introduce himself and make sure all was well with our table. Between the food, staff and ambiance, Silo continues to be a favorite restaurant of mine, and I get by there as often as I can.“

“I’ve been eating at fish city and Grill on 281 in San Pedro for at least 13 years! It may be a a little bit more. We go back every season for the crawfish. Even though I do know for a fact that the seasoning has been changed because I would know since I’ve been going in to have the crawfish season after season. “I passed the truck when I was driving home - decided to try Chucks that evening. I ordered dinner for 6 adults and we ate every crumb. It was that good! The food was hot & so flavorful. Ms. Suzy and her son were kind enough to share parts of their lives with us so we (and others) could form friendly friendships with them and just learn a bit about how they got into the food industry. Talking to them the first time - they were so inviting and I felt like I’ve known them forever. It’s like they’ve never met a stranger! They are such kind hearted people! I ended up going back a few days later to grab some lunch & tried something different. Again; the food was freshly prepared and I enjoyed conversing with them. You can’t go wrong with whatever you order! They are the absolute sweetest and the food is so delicious! They are definitely what Borgfeld needed! “Me and my partner love coming to this place. The atmosphere is great. The bartenders are amazing and manager Mike takes care of the customers. With the recently installed skill machines, he purchased custom chairs for the regulars that come and play.
Thank you for allowing a safe environment for people to have a good time. The customer appreciation crawfish broil was a big hit.

“This place was great. We had a server named Eddy and he did great. Our food was on time our drinks were on time and they treated us great. I did feel a little bit underdressed with a T-shirt, but there was a few people around with a T-shirt as well. They didn’t mention anything, but I would show up in a collared golf shirt to not feel underdressed. Food was great. The steak was great. Service was great.“

“This place is pretty good. There are 2 places inside Roo Pub. The main area that has tables and lots of large screens for sports. The beers on top are decent. Basic tap beers including small selection of IPAs. Food is just OK, especially the onion rings. I had the pulled pork wrap and I don't care for pecans in my pulled pork and the BBQ sauce was way too sweet for me, but if that's your Thang than YASSS QUEEN. There's also an bar next door called Angey Elephant that has club music. Restrooms are good as well. Over all I recommend, has everything you need for a night out, not sure if they offer Kareoke. “Food is so expensive these days, and it's always painful when you cough up so much of your hard-earned money and in exchange get a sub-par meal.

This NEVER happens with LongHorn Steakhouse. While it's not the cheapest option, the quality absolutely justifies the price, and the portions are very generous- you definitely get what you pay for. My husband and I recently visited this location for our 13th anniversary. Both of our steaks were cooked perfectly- they were so tender and flavorful at a perfect medium rare with a beautiful crust. Melt-in-your-mouth meat magic. We both love the brussel sprouts- I could honestly eat them every day. We also tried a chicken appetizer that we hadn't seen previously and while I don't usually enjoy breaded items- the balance of sauce to breading was perfect and the sweet, spicy chili sauce was incredible! These chefs definitely have it figured out and are so consistent.

Melody was our server and she was so delightful. Friendly, knowledgeable, and quick-witted with a great attitude. Our orders were promptly taken with a smile, and the timing of our food couldn't have been better. Our drinks were never empty, everything was cooked perfectly, and her pre-bussing timing skills are unparalleled.

The whole experience was quick and efficient without feeling rushed, and while there wasn't anything to complain about, I'm confident that had anything gone wrong, it would have been rectified kindly and quickly by the manager- whose name I unfortunately can't remember, but was very attentive and hands-on.

Both my husband and I remarked that we don't know why we bother going anywhere else when we want to go out- we're so often let down by our dining experience but have literally NEVER been disappointed by LongHorn Steakhouse.

“Went with 3 other people to watch Texan chargers game. Got indoor table with comfortable stools. We got the fried mozzarella, and waffles fries with bacon, some kind of sauce don't remember what else but both were delicious. They had my favorite beer on tap electric jellyfish served at just the right temperature. The burger and fries were delicious a great way to top off the evening. Service was great and the young man always kept our table cleared of empty glasses and plates. Good work from everyone. Fun place will go back again during playoffs, and a big thumbs up to our Uber drivers.“
