“This is the first time I’ve left a restaurant wishing I’d left a bigger tip. I had made a reservation indicating that the occasion was to ask my girlfriend’s parents for marriage permission, and our server (who was also Korean) made every effort to make sure we had a perfect dinner and setting for that to happen. KANE is already a favorite of ours, and as usual the food and nigiri were of spectacular quality for very reasonable prices. Dinner was great, and on our way out the head server checked in personally, asking if it went well.

It might not be much but the personal attention to detail to my reservation really went a long way for me, considering we weren’t omakase diners or special guests in any way. I autopiloted when the bill came and left a 20% tip, but on my way home realized and wished I had left a bigger tip. I will have to make it up by becoming more of a regular!

“I love this place. We usually go several times during the month. We love our Cosmopolitan drinks always made with our favorite Grey Goose Vodka. The food is amazing. I’m not really into spicy but here I can handle it. Last but no least… the service! The customer service. Fast, kind, always with a smile open to help and give you advises. They are so skilled and knowledgable. Waiters knows al the plates, and tastes. Also huge shout out to my Venezuelan friend. He is a bus boy and he is always goes above and beyond. I’m Venezuelan and it’s really nice to see him. Every time he knows I’m there he comes to say hi, give us a recommendation too and more! He is just awesome! Thank y’all”

“We went this last Friday for their Prime Rib Special, we arrived right at 5:00pm and were seated right away. Service was incredibly quick and our server was a fantastic personable woman (whose name I can’t remember 🤦🏻‍♀️). The fresh bread was sooo good, my husband had the Cajun pasta which was sooo delicious! I got the Prime Rib Special, the smoked mashed potatoes were to die for, and the asparagus was perfectly cooked. My prime rib was a little overcooked, which made it a bit tough but was still so yummy and the seasoning on it was top tier. The cheesecake dessert was one of the best desserts I have ever had! It lasted about five seconds at our table. The cocktails and mocktails were also perfect. Overall a great experience and we will definitely be back!”

“Torchy's is a street taco specialist that started up as a food truck in Austin and has now expanded to over 90 restaurants across the States including this place on Whitestone Blvd. in Cedar Park. They have a fair sized indoor seating area as well as outdoor tables. You can do take-away and delivery as well. Menu features a few not-taco and side items along with their signature list soft tacos that are really good. We had dinner here recently amongst friends, tried 6-7 of their different tacos, let's just say that nobody complained and we gladly finished them all. Torchy's is a neat place that is family friendly and a good spot to meet up with friends. Prices are reasonable, range of taco options good and they seem to know what they are doing in the kitchen. Would gladly eat here again and do take-away for meals at home.”

The Pistachio Dubai Crepe was insane. Rich, nutty, not overly sweet, and just straight-up addictive. You can tell they don’t cheap out on ingredients — the pistachio flavor actually hits, not that fake aftertaste you sometimes get.

The Steak and Cheese crepe surprised me in the best way. Super savory, filling, and packed with flavor. The steak was tender, the cheese was melted perfectly, and it felt more like a full meal than just a crepe.

Now the drinks… yeah. The Pistachio Latte was smooth and creamy without being heavy, and the Biscoff Cookie Latte tasted like a dessert in a cup — warm, cozy, and dangerously easy to finish.

Service was amazing! The young lady made great suggestions and you can tell she enjoys what she does! Then vibe was chill and music at a level where you can chat without yelling !

Overall, everything we tried was fire. If you’re anywhere near Lumis Crepes, do yourself a favor ORDER 1 of everything . I’m definitely coming back”

They were busy, but itl did not take long for my order. Plenty of workers in there bustling. Good brownie bits, not overly chewy/gummy things thats been sitting in a bin for weeks. It was actual brownie bits. Kudos to them on that. They had cornhole boards setup. Wish my kids were with me because they would have loved that. I assume this a local chain. Sure would be nice if they came to Virginia where I live, because it is a wonderful place!”

“Mojo is local drive-thru coffee shop with a few branches around Austin including this place near the corner of FM 620 and Lake Creek Pkwy in North Austin. They are open from 5.30am(weekdays) and 6am (weekends), making them a convenient place for take-away coffee orders on your way to work as well as a place to stop by for an afternoon coffee while on the go. Passed by recently and tried their signature Andes Mint Mocha. This was a expectedly sweet mocha coffee with noticeable hints of mint flavour. It did taste a bit like Andes chocolate mints if in mocha form if that perks your interest. I'd potentially order that signature drink again or might just go with a classic cup of black next time around. Wait staff were very friendly and polite. Overall, this was an interesting and good coffee experience.”

Honest Mary is a fast-casual kitchen preparing vegetarian, gluten-free and healthy bowls at their two branches in Austin. We stopped by recently and did their Sedona Lime and Med Harissa Bowl, both were freshly prepared and tasted very good. You can also do custom bowls choosing your own proteins, rice/salad base and other food items/sauces. Prices are about right for the food quality and portion sizes served. Seating area is a regular, casual restaurant and bowls are prepared fairly quickly.”

“This is without any doubt, the MOST authentic South Indian Tamil Tiffin I have ever had in the Austin area. No watered down sambar and overly spiced chutneys to make up for the lack of originality. The vadas are not XL-sized and overcooked. Dosa batter is fermented well for taste. And most of all, the BADAM HALWA is heavenly !!!!

I accidentally ordered the wrong dish, and when I explained that I meant to order something different, the staff was incredibly kind and understanding. They insisted on changing my dish without charging me for the first one. I even told them it was okay and that I could keep it, but they were so nice and still replaced it.

The food was unbelievably outstanding—so delicious, fresh, healthy, and full of flavor. The restaurant was very clean, and the service was truly beyond expectations. On top of all that, the prices were very affordable.

Plenty of parking with a double door opening which is wheelchair accessible. Average price is around $10 a person, depending on what you order.”

We tried the Bhakari (for the unitiatated, tortillas made from Bajari Flour), Pithala (spiced chickpea flour gravy ), thecha (crushed green chillies), sabudana khichadi (spiced sauted tapioca), Amaras (Sweetened mango pulp), papadi chaat (this one is difficult to explain in few words 😊) and ukadiche modak (sweet steamed dumplings with coconut and jaggery). This food truck is chef Madhuri’s passion for all food and it reflects in her menu. Each item was made perfectly with freshest ingredients and reminded of India. Whenever you are in the Brushy Creek area or are passionate about food like us (we travelled 50 miles just to enjoy this food), stop by Madhuri’s kitchen and just order each item on the menu. You are guaranteed to leave happy with a satisfied soul!”

Recently ordered a plain cheese pizza and custom cheese with pepperoni, sausage and jalapeno and were very happy with what was prepared. Pizzas were very good portion size, nicely baked and included good quality cheese and toppings. Two large pizzas was sufficient for a group of 5 of us, nobody was left hungry. Would gladly reorder from Yaghi's for a lazy night in or group party based on this experience.”
