“Fresh sushi, good service, classy atmosphere.
The two person tables are a bit too close together and can feel intrusive if someone has an intimate date. That's my main complaint and prevented this from being a 5 star experience (for the price point).“

“So disappointed, the server stood next to our table HOUNDING and pressuring us to order. Didn’t even get to enjoy our drinks or conversations. Food came to the table all different times. But most importantly, we ordered a $55 bottle of wine and the MOMENT… I took my last sip… they kicked out entire table out 1 hour and 15 minutes into our dinner??? Worst $200 I’ve spent to be rudely kicked out. If someone is a high paying table, ordered an entire bottle… I would be asking how they enjoyed it and if they would like another. Not asking me to leave mid conversation with my guests. Don’t go here if you want to enjoy your time.“

“My experience at Umiya Restaurant was truly something special. It felt like I had been transported to a cozy mom-and-pop shop somewhere in Japan or Korea. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, the people were kind and inviting, and every bite of food was absolutely exquisite and as my true self I brought my ukulele to pratice and the staff and guess enjoyed the music and i love playing.“

“We just celebrated my daughter birthday there and the whole thing was fantastic! The service was superb and the chef was way more interactive than you normally receive at other places. We will def be back!“

“Underrated sushi spot. Their fish quality is so good, and they give out thick pieces of fishes as well. This is our second time to Daichi and it surely isn’t our last. I would say to skip appetizers and ger their rolls/sashimis/nigiris bc they are surely worth your money. Nice folks so it feels good to be supporting them“

“Wow! We ordered King Noodle take out and it exceeded our expectations. Each of our choice entrees had large cuts of meat and vegetables. It tasted amazing! We will definitely order again in the near future. 5 Stars!“

“This restaurant has amazing food. Every time we’ve been we’ve enjoyed our meal. My daughter loves sushi so we go occasionally. My favorite is an off menu roll called Monica Vegas. Their cold Lychee sake is to die for.“
