I've gotten the privilege to live in Japan. Although one thing that haunts my soul is the yearning I have for the food that I left behind when returning home. This place filled my soul with a dinning experience that almost replicates the joys you find in a small little alley deep in the heart of Osaka, or Naha, or Tokyo.
It felt so authentic that when I closed my eyes for a moment I could believe I was back where I do desperately wanted to be.
This place doesn't just serve you food. It transports you back into the feeling of eating in Japan. Which is such a precious experience that is hard to recreate especially in America.
My waitress was wonderful the food left me in tears. I could go on and on about this place. But the bottom line is this place feeds you and your soul. I highly recommend.“

Every dish showed the chef’s skill, attention to detail, and clear passion for Japanese cuisine. From the very fresh sashimi and perfectly made sushi to the rich uni pasta and beautifully cooked Wagyu steak, everything was excellent. Each item had its own distinct flavor, and it was obvious that a lot of care went into every detail. This wasn’t just a good meal. It was a memorable dining experience. One of the highlights of the evening was the non-alcoholic cocktails made by the bartender. They were refreshing, beautifully presented, and paired really well with the food. Each drink complemented the dishes and made the meal even more enjoyable. The restaurant itself has a beautiful atmosphere. The value for the money spent is unmatched, the portion was perfect for me as well. The chicken teriyaki was juicy and flavorful with a hint of char-grilled goodness. The macaroni was fresh and light and the cabbage salad was wonderfully crunchy and a nice contrast in texture. My only regret is not ordering more food for takeout. In the app, the Sushi Nigiri & Sashimi Bento CLEARLY says it comes with “your choice of white or fried rice” and the rice selection is REQUIRED to order the dish. But in all the times I’ve ordered from this place, they have literally NEVER sent the rice and even wrote me a note with the last delivery stating the bento did NOT come with rice, when it’s right there in the app!! It’s pretty simple: don’t promise what you can’t or won’t deliver, and keep the damn menu up to date on the app. Thank you!“

“I’ve been coming here since 2015, and after more than a decade it is still one of my favorite restaurants. The food is consistently fresh and beautifully prepared. The ginger dressing is hands-down the best I’ve ever had, the vegetables are perfectly cooked, and even the jasmine rice with toasted black sesame seeds shows the attention to detail they put into every meal. The staff is warm, attentive, and incredibly efficient. Today they refilled my miso soup without me asking and even boxed my leftovers for me at the table—something I usually only experience in fine dining restaurants. And all of that, including iced tea, came to under $17. This place is an absolute gem.“
