“I just had a chicken fried steak sandwich. It was pretty yummy. Soft fresh bun ordered on the app and it was ready when I got there. Problem is there are no numbers on the spaces so I still had to press the red button to get my order out to me. It was ready when I got there, though. the employee was very nice. And friendly building is very rundown and needs to be refurbished, Painted something done to it. I noticed this was a complaint of someone a year ago. Nothing has changed. Same complete a year ago about no numbers on spaces. How hard is that? I think I will call corporate because it is a shame. It's so close to my house. I wish they would update it. Update: I have been informed.that the stall number is on the screen. Maybe I just did not see it. I will check next time I go there.“
“Atmosphere of 4 only because it can be difficult to drive into and out of. But I don't hold this against them because service has always been exceptional. The food has been great, and if there is ever a problem they are always apologetic and eager to fix mistakes. If I have a choice of any Sonic in this area, I will go out of my way to purchase from this location. Even if it can be difficult and confusing to drive into.“
“Noticed, two Sonic's on Barker Cypress. One is a mile off Hwy. 290. Other location is 6.5 mi. off Hwy 290.Went for the Blackout Slush- Floa, really good. Then got all beef chili dog, really good as well. I went on a weekday afternoon.First time at this Barker Cypresslocation. It was a pleasant, late afternoon.“
“Originally this location was great and it was really well staffed and maintained but over the last few years it’s just being completely neglected and it seems like ownership is just not interested in investing in the location and properly staffing it.The drive thru has issues with taking one form of payment or another, it seems like it always takes longer than other sonics because either there aren’t enough staff on hand or they’re having to wait till people get to the window to explain an issue.Corporate needs to come in and force the franchisee to invest in modernizing this location and keeping it up to normal standards. This location desperately needs a new PA system for taking and placing orders and they need to start accepting all regular forms of payment instead of forcing customers to drive up only to find out they aren’t accepting whatever form of payment the customer planned on using and wasting their time.The staff are always super kind and I honestly don’t think the issues have anything to do with the staff, it seems like they are just forced to operate a location without the proper tools or leadership to allow them operate effectively and efficiently as other sonics.Hopefully, corporate or the franchisee decides to give this location the proper investment and resources to make this location on or with other sonic locations“
“they got like 2 poor dudes working the entire place, 1 working the kitchen and the other one in the drive thru. not to mention the guy at the drive thru is on his phone the entire timefood takes years because of this. they wont even take your order up front, they’ll just send you to the drive thru instead.to be honest; this ruins the entire sonic experience lol.pls hire more people or something cus this is just horrible“
