“My favorite Starbucks!!!❤️ I hope the weekday morning crew knows how wonderful they are. It may seem simple to some, but these beautiful people always start my day on the best note, whether it’s a sweet compliment on my nails or telling me to drive safe on my way to work. “Uriel consistently goes above and beyond. He remembers names, drinks, and even the little details you don’t expect anyone to care about. His energy is genuine, his service is fast yet thoughtful, and he treats every customer like they actually matter. It’s rare to see that kind of consistency and real passion in customer service these days.

Which brings me to something disappointing: the store manager couldn’t be further from that standard. Cold, disengaged, and visibly uninterested in the customer experience, their presence is the exact opposite of what you’d expect from someone in a leadership role at Starbucks.“

“We resorted to going to this location (Preston/Forest) since it stayed open till 10:00. We tried to go to the Preston,/Royal only to be surprised that it closed at 7:00PM on a Saturday.
The interior of the Preston/Forest location seemed cold and outdated; not a place you would want to linger! In addition, Starbuck's policy apparently allows the start of the closing routine to begin an hour before actual closing: having the floor around you being mopped just doesn't add to the overall ambiance. However, the Barista was very pleasant and accommodating!“

Kid-friendliness: I think they have plenty of items that kids will enjoy and items that have either low caffeine or no caffeine.“

“Before dropping off my rental car at DFW, I swung into Starbucks because nothing says “seasoned traveler” like squeezing in one last latte before returning a vehicle you drove for 48 hours and got overly attached to.

I ordered a Venti hot latte with an extra shot. My name is David — very simple, very straightforward — so I didn’t expect any creative interpretations, and to their credit, they didn’t try any. The drink came out perfect. Beautiful. A moment of peace in this chaotic world.

Then came the blueberry muffin.

And here’s where I begin my journey of self-induced disappointment.

I politely asked for it not heated. Not warm. Not toasty. Not “gently warmed for flavor enhancement.” Just… not heated.
A very basic request — literally the pastry equivalent of “just leave it alone.”

Now, I don’t know what happens behind the counter, but I’m convinced Starbucks has a motivational poster in the back that says:

> “If in doubt: heat the muffin.”

Because sure enough, my muffin came out warm and soft like it just spent 30 seconds reflecting on its life choices in the microwave.

Did this ruin my day? Of course not.
Did I still feel the need to sigh dramatically like I’m starring in a coffee-themed soap opera? Absolutely.

The front door also deserves a mention. When you pull it open, the aluminum frame drags across the ground with a heroic screech — the kind of noise that makes everyone inside briefly wonder if the building is being disassembled by hand.

But honestly?

The staff was incredibly friendly.
The bathrooms were clean.
And my latte was a masterpiece.

So yes — I am absolutely giving them five stars while simultaneously acknowledging the ridiculousness of being emotionally rattled by a slightly warm blueberry muffin.

Some people meditate to stay grounded.
Apparently, I write long reviews about pastry temperature.“

“We frequent this location atleast 3x a week. Lisa is always a pleasure to speak to when she’s on cashier. When she’s not at the front she is in the back diligently working on drinks and every time we’ve stopped by without a doubt she has been doing an over the top job! “My second visit 14 Jan 26 at 5:20pm was great. The young ladies here were very nice and quick. I arrived early and in no time had my food. There is no seating here so a quick in and out is what you will get or go through the drive through. It was very clean as well.

My first visit was quick. Food was good. I enjoyed the Ham and cheese melt. Unfortunately I ordered the tomato and mozzarella Focaccia through doordash and when I got there they didnt have it. Overall it was great.“

“Starbucks mornings are my kids favorite. I like to treat them to an occasional delight at Starbucks on any random school day, just to brighten their day and send them off with a full belly & a happy heart. I’m sure glad we now have our very own Starbucks in our neighborhood, it makes our Starbies mornings possible. Just a few years ago it wasn’t possible for us to enjoy a Starbies morning on a school day because of time & distance constraints, so we are very happy & grateful to have a Starbucks close by.

Parking: Parking can be a little challenging if you want to park right in front of the store. But if you’re OK with parking a few steps from the front door, then there is plenty of parking that is easy to navigate.

Kid-friendliness: This location is kid, friendly with kid friendly menu options.

Wheelchair accessibility: Starbucks at Casa view Plaza shopping center is wheelchair accessible, and has wheelchair accessible parking.“

“There’s a young man that works there. His name is Aaron. He is so exceptional. I was not going in there for a while because the service to me was just so unprofessional and I have spoke about it several times, but since working with him, it’s not just me everyone that comes in contact with him is very happy about their service and their drinks he goes above and beyond for the customer to make us feel welcome and wanted thank you Aaron and much love to you.👍🏽🤗💜“

“The staff is usually VERY kind and attentive at this Starbucks. I’m here at least twice a week, sometimes 3 to 4 times. I have never seen this dude but his names Moises and he’s terrible at customer service. “Good coffee and good service. The only thing we need is more baristas so we don't have to wait so long. Sometimes there's only one barista serving, and you don't always have time to wait that long. Target or Starbucks should be more considerate of the workload they assign to their employees.“

“This is a Starbucks inside of the Tom Thumb at this mixed use building but I did that they had a lot of seating. We actually mistakenly set a business meeting here thinking it was a full Starbucks. They have a small restaurant bar attached that connects to the Starbucks area and they were so gracious since it was morning and not open yet to let us do our meeting here.We had our meeting and were able to be productive working here for a few hours. The wifi worked well and the noise levels were probably less than a typically Starbucks. If I’m in the area again and need a spot to work I would go back here.“
