“First time at Mueller 37. Stopped during the lunch hour. Wait staff was very attentive and offered great suggestions on what to order. Wait staff checked often on drink refills . Ordered Muellecito which consisted of fish, shrimp , shrimp cocktail, small salad and onion rings. This was a great variety of items they offer.“

“We had heard about this place that they have very good seafood and with my craving for fresh fried fish that I haven't been satisfied anywhere here in the mid-valley, so we stopped there and found out.... and boy did it satisfy it. Now I took off one star cuz the environment needs a little fixing. A lil facelift here and there and it will look classy to go wit the meals. Their presentation of the food was impressive.“

“Casa de Marisco is a staple in Weslaco. Don't let the name fool you. It isn't just seafood they serve here. But they have an awesome shrimp cocktail and the Tierra y Mar dishes are an awesome choice for those who want fried shrimp and fish while also hitting the spot for the chicken and beef fajitas. I always recommend it when asked for a good place to eat. This is my botana place. The botanita (for one) easily feeds 2 or 3. So much food. “I've always thought LJS is a good deal. The food was good, the service was expected and the old school feel of this location gives it a 4 star. The ice machine was not working nor was there any tea available. Not big things since I was in no hurry. The outside the building needs to be cleaned up and refurbished, a fresh/clean look. Don't change the building style though.

Dietary restrictions: Many forget the LJS added to their menu awhile back. There are some Lite items if you are trying to watch your calories.

Kid-friendliness: Definitely for kids as it is a great way to try fish or other seafood. Also they still give out their pirate hats!“
