“Welcome home. If I could title my review, that would be it. From the moment I stepped through the door, the (cute!) young man behind the counter made me feel like he had been waiting for me all day. I have anxiety, but it melted away with his charm. The mac and cheese wasn’t ready when I got there, so I was given two choices: they’d replace it with any side, or I could wait and they would make it fresh. Who doesn’t like fresh food? I was entertained while I waited, and the time flew by. Food was hot and fresh. Service was above and beyond. It was my first time in Grand Prairie, but I hope to be back ASAP — only partially for the eye candy!“

“Pros:
I got the lunch special for $16
Everything was delicious, beans, pork ribs, onions, etc.
The front desk service was nice and friendly.
Cons:
I had to go to the restrooms and the only door made me forget about it.
Look around the building until you found the sign that says “entrance” should be more visible
Other than that was good.“

“Excellent experience! It's worth the wait! My husband and I went on a date to this steakhouse for the first time. We did have to wait 50 minutes to get seated, but once we were seated, the service was super fast. Our waitress, Whitney, was awesome! The food was incredibly delicious 😋 Our steaks were soft and tender with so much flavor. There is no need for any A&1 sauce. We had their raspberry tea, and it was to dye for. Me and my husband are huge fans of raspberry teas and we have our picks of who has the best one in DFW and this place switched us both to our new spot for raspberry tea.The manager came by and asked how our experience had been. We also noticed the manager was also hands-on, helping everyone around. Super great environment!

“Folks wanted some bbq. Brought them to try out @hurtadobbq in Arlington. There was a line, so it had to be good. Even tho the line was out the door, it moved pretty quickly. Food was very good. The birria tacos👍🏾 brisket was super tender, but the bark could have had a tad more seasoning. Either way, 👍🏾. Jalapeño cheddar sausage 👍🏾. Smoked turkey breast was super flavorful & juicy👍🏾. Beef Rib was seasoned well & super tender, but a little on the dry side. If it had been fresh, it would have been perfect. Either way, still a 👍🏾. Pork belly burnt ends👍🏾. Beans👍🏾 Potato wedges👍🏾 & I can't forget about that cornbread muffin. @sorordi1908 & @ivienumberone said the elote was fire & they enjoyed the rest of their food as well. If you want good BBQ, this is a good place to come spend your money.“

“I went to Arlington to look at a potential employer. After looking them over I looked for somewhere to eat and Bodacious came up on Google maps. They had a special on sloppy Joe so I got two and some deviled eggs.
When I reached the cashier I didn't have my wallet on me. So I ran out to my car where I couldn't find it either.
I went in to apologize and they gave me my meal free. I'll definitely be back if I get the job and will send them the money if I don't.
PS. The sloppy Joe's were classic just spicy enough and the deviled eggs were delicious.

“Hard to not give them a perfect rating. This location does everything right in my book. They always have impeccable service and the staff is very friendly. They quickly became a Sunday favorite of ours. You can tell that whoever manages/owns this place runs a tight ship and takes pride in the type of service they provide. The meat to highlight is the chicken. Their dessert could be improved by placing it on a bigger bowl as the ice cream melts it creates a mess that spills over the edge of the bowl.“

“This Dickey's has not only great food but also an amazing management team and staff. I placed a catering order for a Celebration of Life luncheon. The food was fresh and delicious, the delivery was on time and not a thing was missing from my large order. My calls with Sal, Ray and other staff members all gave me a feeling of confidence that my order was in good hands and that was exactly the way it turned out.“

“I recommend don't go. I got a 3 meat plate ribs slice beef and sausage. the beef was very fatty un eatable. the ribs was supposed to be fall off the bone. No they were not. the greens was too spicy 🔥. the only thing on my plate that was worth eating was the beans and bread. spent $23.82 to feed my dog I will never go back. This was today 3/5/2025 I wish I could show you the pictures“

“This is one of my favorite restaurants for smoked meat, BBQ, and overall good food. It's rare for the staff to make mistakes on my orders.
I used to spend about $100.00 during every visit to feed my family. Now I spend about $150.00. Inflation has been harsh over the past 5 years, but going to this restaurant is still worth it.“

“Sandra, Sheena, & Lupe were 3 of the sweetest ladies!! Lupe on meats, Sandra made the plate & Sheena rung me up!!! Very sweet & polite! The Mac n cheese is 2 stars for me!! “Restaurant looks clean and great atmosphere. I went to Dickey’s for the first time ever so I don’t have any reference to compare. All I know the chicken sandwich and brisket and all was really good. They gave plenty of barbecue sauce without me even asking. I would recommend and plan to return.“

“I had seen this place, seemed oddly decorated....OMG, I have been missing out. The absolute BEST breakfast tacos of my life and I'm a breakfast taco expert. This is my new all time favorite spot. You will not be disappointed. Great hole-in-the-wall character.“

“Turning Point is one of our favorite breweries in the DFW area and we make it a point to to stop in anytime we are in the area visiting family. Having visited breweries across the US, one thing that is usually lacking in quality 99% of the time is food. I am not sure how long Godspeed has been serving up their delicious BBQ at Turning Point but the brewery should do everything they can to retain them. Godspeed has some of THE BEST brisket I have ever had in my life. It was melt in your mouth good and the bark was perfection. They have bbq sauce available but this is one of those times you should let the meat speak for itself and savor the flavor of it on its own before you douse it in sauce. I promise you will thank me later for this. Also, the beans were FANTASTIC!!! I can understand if y’all don’t want to share the recipe but they were some of the best beans I have ever had! We were hoping to find some fantastic BBQ on our visit and decided to end our at at Turning Point. Who knew we would find some of the best BBQ we have ever had in our entire lives??? The family that runs it is super friendly too. Shout out to the owner’s Dad who was so kind and generous with his time chatting us up! “I love Texas Live but some of the wait staff 8s either not friendly, too friendly or just don't care. Was there on yesterday and wings was soooo good but when it came to getting nachos with chicken the meat was cold and jalapenos was cold too. Not enough cheese and for $17 give us meat if we paying extra and beans and cheese to make it nachos.“

Our location is catering only- if you are looking for dining in or getting something to go, please contact or visit our original restaurant on Inwood Rd just east of Harry Hines; or our Lovers Lane, West End, or Richardson locations.“

“Definitely coming again. Food is amazing and really nice service. I would definitely order wings from here if I'm having a party or big occasion. Burgers were really juicy and big with a great grilled taste. The fried rice samples were also pretty interesting. I would come again to try an order of the chicken fried rice.???“

“The food at this restaurant is absolutely delicious. A 10 out of a .10. We had the blackened salmon and sampled the fried chicken wings. Everything was seasoned perfectly, the service was great, the establishment was clean and the cool aid was even good. I will be going back .“

“First visit with a group of 20+. The staff was friendly, attentive and aimed to please. Food was very good. Any issue anyone had was addressed and rectified with a small. We had a great time and looking for to attending a Sunday afternoon Gospel Show sometimes this Fall.“

“The customer service is onpoint. Everything is 😋 Cheesy hommy is my new favorite and their meats are so tender and juicy. potatoes salad is different but good. I never chooses potatoes salad as my sides at any BBQ place, because it's always the same but their is different😊😊 10 stars Come by you will not be disappointed“
