“Its a local place that is good. They have tried to teplicat some items that is carried by another local restaurant called Cristina's. Villa Grande does excellent on some items. Far surpassing some othe restaurants. But lacks a bit on other items. IMHO, their Molcajete is subpar from Christina's. And their chili rellano is subpar from other restaurants. But their tacos and enchiladas are by far their strength. They are VERY good with great sauces for their texmex enchiladas. Everyone loved their texmex tacos.“

“First time doing takeout here! I was a little surprised that I was prompted for a tip, but then my order didn’t include any utensils. I’ll be honest, I didn’t leave a huge tip, mostly because it feels like so many places these days expect a tip even for takeout, and I’m always much happier tipping when the little details and service are there too.

I just wish as much attention had been given to making sure the order had everything we needed as there was to asking for a tip. Nothing major—just a small learning opportunity for the future. :)“

“This is our favorite Mexican restaurant ever!!! Jeff was our server and by far the greatest server we have ever had. Hands down the best server here! My wife and I have been coming for over 7 years and Jeff is our favorite. If you come here you must ask for Jeff. “Mother's Day was made even more special by choosing this place for lunch. Each lady was met with a rose and quickly shown to the table. The Staff greeted us with a big smile and seemed genuinely happy that we were there. As I had never dined there, I was Pleasantly surprised by the delicious tomatilo salsa! Our whole party loved the meal! I highly suggest the Cuca nachos. It's like potato skins and nachos met for a party!“

“The steak tacos were fantastic and the flavors really stood out. I was also thrilled that they let me switch the refried beans for a side salad. You can see it in one of my photos and it turned out to be far from an ordinary salad. The Caesar dressing was unbelievably good and I would go back just for that. “Gave them a try today since they’re nearby and did not disappoint. When I think of gas station tacos I immediately think of Fuel City, which are good, but these were pretty good too. And they are not dripping in grease as Fuel City Tacos. The food was tasty, service was friendly and fast. Will definitely be coming here more often. I ordered Asada, Picadillo and Chicken tacos with Asada and Picadillo being my favorite. That salsa verde was perfect with just the right kick to it.“

Top it off with a bucket of Diet Coke or strawberry drink and bro, it hits the spot. Value of the food? it's okay. For two of us it's at least $20 but it's better than some places charge a little more and you get a little less. We like the party burritos because it's less messy for the kiddo and I like the flavor ratio of the small flour tortilla and Frijoles. “Freebirds is so much better than Chipotles....I mean it. There service sucks, they wear gloves, but yet they touch your food then the cash register back to the food. Freebirds food is great fresh and less money and I would like to say 'only spicy' if you want it spicey! Can't say that about Chipotles food at all!!“
