“We hosted a Celebration of Life at BJ's Brewhouse, Hwy 281 N. Could not have been more satisfied with the atmosphere, service, and especially the food. There were 80 of us with the Pizza and Salad Buffet. EVERYBODY there remarked how wonderful how wonderful the pizza and service were. I've heard terms like "never had pizza this good", "the service was excellent", "wonderful place." I highly recommend this particular location for events. EXCELLENT.“

“I reserved a table for 15 on Sunday and Dominic our server was awesome. They set us up so well in the side room and it was ready on time. The food was amazing and drinks were amazing. Mimosas with different flavors was amazing! We tried the unholy one, meatloaf and it was so good! The staff at front was sweet and our server was so friendly and took great care of every lady and even brought holders for our bags. All of my guests had nothing but great things to say about our server. The manager also stopped by to check on us. Very professional environment. I wish more places were like this. Highly recommend this place! And looking forward to coming back with more guests.“

“Last week I was one in a group of twelve who had an amazing experience dining at Ida Claire. All agreed that the food was excellently prepared and tasty. Those of us who ordered bread pudding thought it was wonderful. The service was top notch, thanks to our awesome server King. King was not at all intimidated by the number in our party. “Came here with a large party. This place is always great and the food is in my top 5 of places in San Antonio. There was a slight mix up in the orders and the entire staff went above and beyond and fixed the issue (wasn’t much of an issue) but they were all super nice about it! It is hard to find a restaurant like this now days.“

I wasn’t feeling well and she treated me like a Queen. As an ex server myself I must say she was wonderful!!! Best service !! She deserves a raise !! she was perfect in every way. I ate at your restaurant this week for the first time and I told him your cheeseburger was the best I had ever eaten so we went there for lunch today. You were very accommodating as neither of us can eat a lot of food. We ordered the cheeseburger to split and asked if we could share a cup of poblano soup. Again. No problem. His first bite of your hamburger and he said Praise God. This is great. And he loved the soup also. He was so greatful for food that tasted perfect to him. “First went there earlier this year, impressed us the minute we walked in the door, employees greet you upon entering with a truly warm, illuminating smile. When we were seated, we wanted to watch a certain game and the manager, Laura really went out of her way, bent over backwards to ensure they found the game(s) we wanted to watch, then ensured that the games would stay on ! The waitress who waited on us ( can't remember her name ) was exactly like the manager, helpful, courteous and quick with her service, thus resulting in making this our favorite location for watching sports with the drinks and menu items to order, with this type service, we will always make this our number 1 location !! “I stopped in for breakfast and LOVED it. Any diner that has multiple old man groups, a cake and pie cooler front and center, and a lunch counter you can sit at, sign me up. They are bound to have good vittles! And Jim’s did not disappoint. I got the Texas Two Step breakfast. The pancakes were some of the best I’ve had. Sweet, moist, and fluffy. You almost didn’t need any syrup. I was very impressed. The bacon and eggs were just extra to make it all good. The menu looked fantastic and I hope to come back to SA one day to try out other things. Until then, keep doing your thing Jim’s!“

The owner is usually around to say hello and thank us for coming. Very few places serve as many types of veggies and unusual sides as 410 Diner. Fish to Filets-they have it all/or most of it.“

“We were at the Rim location just now. We sat in the bar area and immediately left. The floor had chips, old french fries on the floor and under the table. I had even said something about the floor needed sweeping as the hostess sat us. She didnt even bother to come back to address that. We got up and left. If the staff is like that with upkeep upfront, I did not want to know how they maintain their kitchen. I can understand if they were very busy and did not have time but there was a couple of people in the bar area. They could have addressed that. Very dissappointed.“
