“We hosted a Celebration of Life at BJ's Brewhouse, Hwy 281 N. Could not have been more satisfied with the atmosphere, service, and especially the food. There were 80 of us with the Pizza and Salad Buffet. EVERYBODY there remarked how wonderful how wonderful the pizza and service were. I've heard terms like "never had pizza this good", "the service was excellent", "wonderful place." I highly recommend this particular location for events. EXCELLENT.“

“Last week I was one in a group of twelve who had an amazing experience dining at Ida Claire. All agreed that the food was excellently prepared and tasty. Those of us who ordered bread pudding thought it was wonderful. The service was top notch, thanks to our awesome server King. King was not at all intimidated by the number in our party. He was personable, knowledgeable, attentive, and accurate. We would certainly go there again.“

“It was a hot Sunday. I was starving. While shopping at a nearby consignment store I absolutely had to stop to eat. I went to Mash’d expecting boring burgers, wings and fries and instead was pleasantly surprised. The brunch menu was somewhat small and limited, but the food had a twist and there were some healthy options. I tried the AM Swole Bowl. I wasn’t expecting to enjoy it as much as I did. They knocked it out the ball park!!! First of all it’s huge (swole) and lavish. The turmeric gave the quinoa a curry flavor. The kale was subdued by the tangy yogurt. The sweet potatoes and avocado left me feeling content sort of like how you feel after having a generous slather of butter on toast. And who knew grapes could work with a boiled egg?!? The combination was surprising yummy!…and the cocktail (the cougar) didn't hurt.“

“The Cheek Bunz was phenomenal, and their French fries were the perfect accompaniment! Make sure to get some of their spicy Ketchup for your fries 😍. The menu is so different from other burger places. My Husband had the Bunzai and he loved it as well! We will definitely be eating here again before we leave San Antonio!“

“I ordered a roast beef sandwich and BOWL of poblano soup.
I was surprised when the HALF sandwich was served cold. I probably didn't pay close attention to the menu. Disappointed when I was served a Cup of soup.

“First went there earlier this year, impressed us the minute we walked in the door, employees greet you upon entering with a truly warm, illuminating smile. When we were seated, we wanted to watch a certain game and the manager, Laura really went out of her way, bent over backwards to ensure they found the game(s) we wanted to watch, then ensured that the games would stay on ! The waitress who waited on us ( can't remember her name ) was exactly like the manager, helpful, courteous and quick with her service, thus resulting in making this our favorite location for watching sports with the drinks and menu items to order, with this type service, we will always make this our number 1 location !! They are bound to have good vittles! And Jim’s did not disappoint. I got the Texas Two Step breakfast. The pancakes were some of the best I’ve had. Sweet, moist, and fluffy. You almost didn’t need any syrup. I was very impressed. The bacon and eggs were just extra to make it all good. The menu looked fantastic and I hope to come back to SA one day to try out other things. Until then, keep doing your thing Jim’s!“

“Came here with a large party. This place is always great and the food is in my top 5 of places in San Antonio. There was a slight mix up in the orders and the entire staff went above and beyond and fixed the issue (wasn’t much of an issue) but they were all super nice about it! It is hard to find a restaurant like this now days.“

“We were at the Rim location just now. We sat in the bar area and immediately left. The floor had chips, old french fries on the floor and under the table. I had even said something about the floor needed sweeping as the hostess sat us. She didnt even bother to come back to address that. We got up and left. If the staff is like that with upkeep upfront, I did not want to know how they maintain their kitchen. I can understand if they were very busy and did not have time but there was a couple of people in the bar area. They could have addressed that. Very dissappointed.“
