The space was clean, well-organized, and provided a great setting for guests to mingle and enjoy the experience.

My friend hosted her book signing there, and everything flowed smoothly. The staff was accommodating, and the overall ambiance added a professional yet intimate touch to the event. If you’re looking for a venue with a great vibe for gatherings, celebrations, networking events, or book signings, I would definitely recommend Vortex Lounge.

“Houston Location: We arrived at our reservation and waited 10 minutes for the hostess. Once seated, we were uninstructed on how to order. Sushi chefs explained the process. Our waiter arrived 10 minutes after, taking our drink order. The app arrived before the waters, followed by the drinks after we ordered and received the sushi. The manager noticed us looking for our waiter but was often in the corner on his phone or socializing with the hostess. The sushi chefs were also on their phones while making the sushi, which was unhealthy. Despite the germy seasoning, the food was amazing.“

“We had a beautiful wedding at AvantGarden. My partner and I were looking for aesthetically pleasing and queer friendly wedding venues. When we emailed AvantGarden to see if they are comfortable with LGBT weddings, Mariana swiftly replied, “At AvantGarden, love is love.” We went to tour the venue because it was beautiful online and we could not have been more pleasantly surprised by the fact that they do all inclusive weddings! The florals, cake, food, and DJ were all excellent. Pizza, cocktail hour charcuterie and the taco truck were all big hits with our guests. We’re very thankful to Mariana and her team!“

Ambiance definitely upscale! Enjoyed chatting with Chayn outside the restaurant! Looks like they have a number of special events coming up to enjoy! We live in Brenham but we are looking forward to returning soon! Highly recommend this place for quality food, drink, and great conversation!“

“Today, 5-16-24, I had an excellent experience at Premier Daiquiris. I didn’t get the lady’s name that was working the drive thru, but she helped me out today more than she knows. Right before I arrived at this establishment, I received back to back phone calls that were not good. I went to Premier Daiquiris to get a daiquiri. The African American lady at the drive thru began talking to me about cars and family and she also recommended a drink that was good. She doesn’t know how much the conversation I had with her really calmed my mind at the time. Hopefully she is able to see this comment!“

It was so good. I ordered the awaze lamb tibs and honey wine. Definitely lifted my spirits. And then once I finished I sat and talked with the woman who served me.
