“we heard a lot of good things and saw all the posts on social media so we had to come try the food while we were in New Orleans. we pulled up today right at closing time and even though they were already shutting down, they took our order anyway. their customer service is ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ + the drinks are SOOO good. the food? BETTER than we expected and we KNEW it’d be good. everything is seasoned just right and has a ton of flavor. i’d come to new orleans JUST to eat here.“

“When we pulled up all I heard was HEYYYY with a wave and a big ass smile! I was surprised to see them on 1960. Yay for me because it’s hittin and close to home!! Today we got the Catfish Fluffy. It has cajun rice, a HUGE piece of fried catfish, topped with crawfish and sausage, and broccoli on the side.

Everything tastes good af! Fish fried hard just like I like it! Next time we will try that oatmeal pie funnel cake🤤.

I see people in the reviews talking about the price. What do you expect when you are getting crawfish AND a piece of fish that covers the plate corner to corner? It’s well worth the money!

“Unexpected surprise! My daughter and I were visiting Houston and looking for a place to eat, just pulled in on a whim and I’m so glad we did. I’m a big fan of New Orleans cuisine and this place hit the mark! Red beans and rice is always the first dish I order in a Cajun restaurant, and theirs was amazing! “Definitely some of the best home cooking from the boot you’ll ever try. She put her foot in every dish. The chef is the nicest most gracious example of a New Orlean that you’ll ever be able to find. I recommend you try everything on the menu. I started with the seafood bake potato and just went down the list on every trip back without disappointment.“

The salads, main courses, sides and desserts are all great - a few of my favorites are the salads (with vinaigrette), the étouffée, the baked and the fried chicken, the chicken and sausage gumbo, the squash casserole, and the brownies!“

“My neighbor called me and wanted fajitas and she wanted to go to Pappasito's Airtex. We are both widows and we had not been to that location in quite a while. We had about a 15 minute wait around 3:45. We got our table and our waiter was quick to attend to us. We got our drinks and appetizers ordered. When he brought our drinks and appetizers to us he took our order, we split an order of beef and chicken fajitas for two with extra rice and charro beans, then he asked if there was anything else we needed. We were fine. Our order came out quickly and he again asked how we were . He was very attentive and very pleasant making sure we were accommodated. As we were finishing our meal, he asked us if we wanted a desert. We were unsure, so he brought out the sample tray. We chose the ice cream balls rolled in coconut and pecans with caramel syrup drizzled on top. OMG, it was awesome. Just to let you know, the last time I was at Pappasitos was at Deerbrook and I took my son out for Father's Day. The service was not good and our waitress was no where to be found until we were ready to leave. My neighbor, June and I were very impressed with our waiter, Noah, and we will be back and will ask for him. He is knowledgeable, attentive, pleasant, professional and is doing a great job as he made our evening into an awesome dining experience He will be an asset to any business because he cares. “I used to go to the one in Greenspoint mall before they shut it down. This one is good but not as good as Greenspoint used to be. But it's still very good. My go to is the bourbon chicken.. And have them put the bourbon juice all over your Rice and Noodles.“

“We ordered the jjampong, tangsuyuk, and jjajang. Everything was very good! Compared to Dallas Korean Chinese food restaurants I’ve tried and Paek’s Korean Chinese restaurant, Crab Ave was the best. The food tasted authentic and the jjampong had a good amount of seafood. Probably the best in Texas! Definitely recommend trying it.“

“My new favorite place. For 1 its affordable. My family always calls me cheap like the dad on everybody hates Chris. I simple want the best deal with quality without breaking the bank. It beats going to McDonald's. Why because I've spent about the same if not more at McDonald's to get less. You get a good amount of food for the price here.
Secondly the food you can smell from down the street and it tastes good. They give you plenty of sauce (not stingy like franchises.
They have options for kids who may not like fish.
You get 2 pieces with lots of fries. The fish is big. Photos don't lie. They have different kinds of fish like swai, catfish, or tilapia. Swai it my favorite.
When I went in to pick up, it was a nice atmosphere. Great customer service 👏🏾 👌🏾“
