“we heard a lot of good things and saw all the posts on social media so we had to come try the food while we were in New Orleans. we pulled up today right at closing time and even though they were already shutting down, they took our order anyway. their customer service is ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ + the drinks are SOOO good. the food? BETTER than we expected and we KNEW it’d be good. everything is seasoned just right and has a ton of flavor. i’d come to new orleans JUST to eat here.“

“The food is delicious! The crawfish are big. The white Staff is wonderful especially Chloe so sweet! Love the choices of sauces and seasonings for the crawfish. However, unfortunately, the big terrible thing is that you don’t honor specials because you sent out an ad about the FIFA games and wearing a soccer jersey on the day of games in Houston, which was today and I wore a jersey and the deal was to get a free appetizer of Boudin balls or Boudin egg rolls, but the Manager would not honor the ad because she said I was supposed to wear the jersey of the country who is playing today, which was some other country. I don’t even know who, but that was not even stated on the ad that you need to wear a specific country’s jersey so that was very disappointing! However, the food was delicious and the waitress Chloe was wonderful. It was just the manager did not want to honor the promotion which was very odd especially when I asked if anyone got any free Boudin that day and she said not even one single person. So why make a promotion when you’re going to trick people into coming to the restaurant and they can’t even get the promotion that they are trying to participate in? That’s not very nice!“

“It was really good. I asked for well done fish and it was well done. My friend and I shared the 2pc fish, 6 shrimp, and 2corns, and that was plenty! Im very picky; so, this is saying a lot! Service was great also; restaurant was nice and clean. I little cold, but we enjoyed our quick meal after a long day of helping her clean her closets.“

The salads, main courses, sides and desserts are all great - a few of my favorites are the salads (with vinaigrette), the étouffée, the baked and the fried chicken, the chicken and sausage gumbo, the squash casserole, and the brownies!“

“The crawfish were huge, juicy, and packed with flavor! Perfectly seasoned and cooked just right. Definitely some of the best crawfish I’ve had in a long time. The Bayou Wings with the Cajun fries are a hit — full of flavor and cooked fresh. You have to try the mango green tea, and don’t forget to order the beignet fries… crispy in every bite and absolutely delicious. Great service and great food — I’ll definitely be back! The mango green tea was so refreshing I had to order another one for the road. Everything came out hot, fresh, and full of flavor. Definitely a spot worth stopping by! The staff is very friendly and attentive!“

“We had a party of 13 at Blue Water 290 location. Our food and service were exceptional ! Our server was Taylor and we all loved him !! We do come as often as we can and will continue to do just that. The Dungeness crab and boiled shrimp are highly recommended !“

“My neighbor called me and wanted fajitas and she wanted to go to Pappasito's Airtex. We are both widows and we had not been to that location in quite a while. We had about a 15 minute wait around 3:45. We got our table and our waiter was quick to attend to us. We got our drinks and appetizers ordered. When he brought our drinks and appetizers to us he took our order, we split an order of beef and chicken fajitas for two with extra rice and charro beans, then he asked if there was anything else we needed. We were fine. Our order came out quickly and he again asked how we were . He was very attentive and very pleasant making sure we were accommodated. As we were finishing our meal, he asked us if we wanted a desert. We were unsure, so he brought out the sample tray. We chose the ice cream balls rolled in coconut and pecans with caramel syrup drizzled on top. OMG, it was awesome. Just to let you know, the last time I was at Pappasitos was at Deerbrook and I took my son out for Father's Day. The service was not good and our waitress was no where to be found until we were ready to leave. My neighbor, June and I were very impressed with our waiter, Noah, and we will be back and will ask for him. He is knowledgeable, attentive, pleasant, professional and is doing a great job as he made our evening into an awesome dining experience He will be an asset to any business because he cares. “Great price for lunch specials, ordered a 5 piece wing meal/fries/soda for under 10 bucks. Each wing was the full piece so basically a ten piece meal. Only thing I noticed was the place empty during lunch time, a little bit contradicting given the quality of the food. Overall I definitely recommend to give this place a try.“

“We ordered from doordash and let me tell you. We cannot wait togo in person the next time I am in town! Best crawfish I have EVER had ! So fresh and the sauce was incredible, lemon pepper mild and perfectly spicy. The snow crab was fresh and the house sauce was to die for ! The hand battered mushrooms were the best I've had in 10 years light and crisp!
We had left overs and I reheated them on the stove with medium heat and it was almost better than the first day. Corn was sweet and the potatoes weren't over cooked. To top it all off the prices were more than reasonable. Dont walk, run! To get yourself a bag !“

“When we pulled up all I heard was HEYYYY with a wave and a big ass smile! I was surprised to see them on 1960. Yay for me because it’s hittin and close to home!! Today we got the Catfish Fluffy. It has cajun rice, a HUGE piece of fried catfish, topped with crawfish and sausage, and broccoli on the side.

Everything tastes good af! Fish fried hard just like I like it! Next time we will try that oatmeal pie funnel cake🤤.

I see people in the reviews talking about the price. What do you expect when you are getting crawfish AND a piece of fish that covers the plate corner to corner? It’s well worth the money!

I've tried a variety of things and the dishes are staples of what one would expect from the other restaurants mentioned
Now there are only two things that I didn't care for one was time , they are making it fresh and they do get busy so maybe it's just my impatients and 2 the gumbo , I've tried twice but both times it's been just too dark for my liking the rue is overcooked or maybe the spices but , I'd skip
Other than that sit down enjoy and be pleasantly surprised with the bill“

“I went once. I returned and got more, because the shrimp was great. I now came back again, because the food and the value are excellent.“

“This place was offering free samples of their bourbon chicken, and it was delicious, so my husband and I had to stop and get a meal. We each ordered a 2-combo meal with spicy chicken and bourbon chicken as our choices. Both the rice and noodles tasted great, and the portions were very large. Each meal cost $10.99.

We also got two egg rolls, two doughnuts, and two bottled drinks. Yum Yum sauce was available for $1 per container, and mustard and hot sauce packets were available for free. The food tasted great! Our total came to roughly $40, and we still had leftovers, so I believe it was well worth the money.“
