“I love going to this restaurant when i’m on a budget for seafood boil. You get what you pay for a more. I love their Eazy to Peel shrimp combo along with their fries. The customer service was great as well. The only reason I didn’t give this a 5 star is because the potatoes from the boil could be a hit or miss. Sometimes, it has a metallic taste but most of the times it doesn’t. Overall, great restaurant when you’re on a budget for seafood boil.“

“Stopped in Wednesday for lunch with friends but wasn’t feeling seafood. Our server Tracy was the best she took the time to explain the non seafood items on the menu and I went with the chicken pasta. It was so good. Only this place outta all of the stalls had what resembled it, so I gave it a try and OMG ? their “Cajun fried chicken” it was amazing! ? “We went to BB.s Webster Father’s Day. There was a wait but not to long. We had a party of 8 and were set in a young man’s section I don’t remember his name but he was nice. Our food was very good! But, the manager that was there her name was Tammy was amazing. It was busy she saw that we were needing a few things came right over and took care of us and everyone around us the rest of the evening. She Is Very Impressive to watch! We love the crawfish and now the service we will return and do recommend!“

“Hello, fabulous Floyds family!

I have been visiting Floyds for many, many years, starting with the Heights location (I believe it went from Floyds Cajun Shack to the Mardi Gras Cafe, then to Floyds Seafood). I got my parents hooked on Floyds when they moved to Pearland, and also also converted my sister (who lives in the UK). We make a point to go any time she's in town visiting. While my parents have both passed now, I am still a regular and love so many of the menu items. My weekend tradition is to visit a restaurant for lunch and read for about an hour as I eat and Floyds has always been in my rotation.

I could rave about/beg you to bring back the Akaushi steak, or ramble on about the exquisite crab bisque, or the sensational creamy crab dill salmon with asparagus, but this review is about this past Sunday's lunch experience (8/3/25). To give you some context, I recently began chemotherapy for Hodgkin's Lymphoma. What that means is that my immune system is compromised to the point that I can no longer have many of the things I usually eat at a restaurant (medium rare steak, side salads, etc.). Part of my dietary restrictions specify that any steak I order must be cooked at least medium/145 degrees.

This was my first Floyds visit since starting chemo and I was blessed to have Anna as my server. I explained how I really wanted the Wagyu steak but there were specific criteria that were necessary due to chemo. She listened to me, she heard what I was saying (especially my half-joking comment about how medium rare is the ONLY way to eat a steak), and assured me that the kitchen would be appraised of the situation. Not once did I feel like I was bothering her, being a pest, taking up too much of her time, being high maintenance, etc. She even took a phone pic of the poster in the kitchen showing the doneness levels/temperatures of steak.

When my meal arrived, Anna came back as soon as she could to assure me that the kitchen had verified the temperature before plating it, and asked if it was cooked properly (it SO was). I know it wasn't my usual medium rare steak but it still tasted absolutely amazing. I am firmly of the opinion that there were magic spices involved in the preparation of said steak.

Anna continued to swing by my table, never being intrusive, just wonderfully attentive, warm, and caring. I felt like I was dining at a friend's house, not a restaurant. I told her that she was one of the BEST servers I've ever had the pleasure of meeting and that I would ask to be seated in her section the next time I came back. This was a master class in customer service, putting the diner first, and being incredibly gracious with her time.

My hope is that Anna and her supervisor(s) get to read this and know what an amazing job she is doing. Because of her service, I can feel confident eating at Floyd's, despite my dietary restrictions/limitations, and know that my meal will be as top notch as the service.

“Marais was wonderful! My CuzzoBestieSisteriend was in town from California. I wanted to try a new spot and have some bestie time! I selected the perfect spot!! MARAIS!!! Walking up to the venue, jazz music was playing. This put me in my happy zone immediately!! It set the mood right out the gate. We were seated with no wait. We made a reservation. Nick was our server. He was very personable. Top notch table maintenance and follow-up! Now, let's talk about the delicious food! We had the $40 brunch buffet. We felt it was as worth it! I tried the following: gumbo, bacon, sausage, hash potatoes, chicken & waffles, fried fish, greens, smoked salmon, boiled shrimp, grits..,,whewwww! I didn't get to enjoy the omelet station or the carving station. More reason to return...AND WE WILL! We washed it down with mimosas with OJ and PJ! Tasty tasty. We couldn't believe a full bottle of was only $10. I was expecting a champagne split not bottle! There is a bar area right off of the buffet lines. The bar has swings!! Like “when you were a kid” swings!! Also, there is patio seating too! Live jazz music was playing the entire time we were there! Again, another reason to return!! Great experience all the way around! “Swamp Shack has delicious seafood. The oysters are excellent, and red fish is tasty. Even the veggies are seasoned just right. Our food server was attentive and friendly. The only request I have is to please repair the tear in the seat, as it is a health Hazzard and infection risk.
Overall, this is a place we come to to fulfill that seafood craving.“

He gave us a great deal for our student organization and was in constant communication with us to ensure that the food arrived in time for the masjid to set up accordingly. He even followed up to make sure everything went smoothly. Inshallah we will order from him again in the future“
