“As someone from the Mississippi Delta, I have a fairly high standard when it comes to BBQ (especially brisket and ribs). I groan when someone convinces me to try a spot that “has amazing brisket!” knowing that 19/20 times I am disappointed. I was in Lewisville, TX this week for work and was introduced to Sullivan’s as a place with “some really great BBQ and brisket” I am here to tell you, this bbq/brisket/ribs/sausage is not great… It is OUTSTANDING. The ribs/pork/sides etc. are all a 10/10 in my book… But that brisket…. That brisket is in a league of its own. Without a doubt the BEST brisket I’ve ever had. Perfect tenderness - beautiful smoke ring - exceptional bark - and flavor that is just unbelievable. Even then, with the exceptional quality of food, it pales in comparison to the hospitality of this place. When coming here for the first time, I was immediately treated as if I had been a regular visitor for 20 years. I’ve been 4 times now in 12 days and will surely be back before my return home. Sullivan’s is a prime example of what a local restaurant should and could be and I give my thanks and kudos to the owner and the amazing staff that make an experience like this possible.“

“Stopped by Hard Eight this weekend. By far the best BBQ I’ve had to date. This is coming from someone who has lived in the Southern East coast. Variety of different meats, pretty expensive but absolutely worth every penny. We purchased the brisket, ribeye, jalapeño and cheese sausage and sirloin. All was extremely juicy and not over cooked. Staff were extremely helpful. Will definitely come back!“

“Came down to Highpoint Performance Showcase in Pilot Point TX. We got hungry for some brisket! Found this fantastic place. Food was wonderful and delicious, not only that but the food came out fast! Service was amazing, super friendly and kind! Would go again! Highly recommend wearing stretchy pants!“

“My steak was delicious and the Service was good, although we did have to request water refills and we were never asked about drink refills. The huge disappointment was the onion strings. See the picture. But only were they not strings they were not crispy or very flavorful. I will not order them again.“

“Rudy’s BBQ in Frisco is truly a hidden gem—gas station BBQ at its absolute best. Whether I’m stopping in early in the morning or grabbing something quick later in the day, this place never disappoints. One of my favorite things to get is their brisket breakfast taco. The brisket is always tender, flavorful, and perfectly smoky, and they wrap it up in a warm tortilla that hits the spot every single time.
What really sets this Rudy’s location apart is how fast and efficient they are. Even when the line looks long, it moves quickly, and you’re never waiting more than a few minutes. Prices are very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes, which makes it an easy go-to when I want something delicious without spending a ton.
The atmosphere is exactly what you’d expect from a classic Texas BBQ joint—laid-back, friendly, and welcoming. Their iced tea is some of the best around, always fresh and perfectly brewed. And the fixings bar is great for customizing everything just the way you like it. I’m also a huge fan of their BBQ sauce; it has that perfect balance of tangy and slightly sweet that pairs amazing with their meats.

“Donna is the best associate I have ever experienced in fast casual restaurant. She is fantastic, great, very friendly and courteous. She made us feel as if we knew all our lives . This was the first experience my friend has ever been to HEB before and she thought the food was great and Donna was fabulous. Cameron is awesome.“
